1 Park near Kalkaska, Michigan

Pros: As stated in earlier reviews, this is an older park. The grounds are quite nice with good walking trails. Very dog friendly! The WiFi was the best I've seen. In our site the water pressure was acceptable and the sewer port was accessable. Cons: The site we were given was so out of level we felt like cliff dwellers. The electric service was terrible. Voltage down to 103 VAC at times. When we asked for a different site, we were told that none were available. This however turned out not to be the case. They did send their electrician who concluded that nothing could be done about the low voltage. We feared for the health of our air conditioning all night. We will not return.

Park is an older park with great ambience. The pool looks to be clean but we didn't use it. All gravel roads with a nice hiking trail at the rear of the park. We walked each day, exploring the loop. Our site was fairly level but some are not near level, so be prepared with wood or blocks. The water pressure was terribly inconsistent. At one point I told my wife it was the best we had experienced, but later that night it was down to a trickle. The services on some sites are poorly laid out requiring long extensions to sewer, water, and/or electric depending how you want to be positioned on the site. - OurNextStage
