A great RV park located just off I-69 but very quiet. Large back-in and pull-through sites, gravel, full-hookups, modern and clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. Two pools, a playground and so on. It is all open - no shade so satellite works great but it could be hot in the summer on a sunny day. Wifi also works well. Lots of green space for walking a dog. Friendly office staff and everything is in good condition. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The previous reviews pretty much cover all points about this campground. This was an overnight stay for us, easy on/off interstate. Office staff was very friendly. A well stocked store, free wifi was good, electric good, water good, utilities placed well. Very dog friendly, lots of green areas to walk. Could easily stay here for a few days to catch up on laundry, etc and to relax from the road. We will stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Cornwell Turkey restaurant is just a short walk along a nice path, a cafeteria style with pretty good turkey dinners, gift shop and ice cream

This park has 2 beautiful pools our 2 year old granddaughter loved the wade pool. They don't have any planned activities for the kids and playground needs some updates. My family had to pay to visit 2 adults, a 2 year old and a 6 week old baby each one charged $5.00. This campground has minimal shade I felt like we were camping in a field. Did not have a welcome feeling to this campground. No tents are allowed felt like it was for rich people. We will not return. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Easy off and onto freeway. Gravel roads and sites. Sites level. Okay spacing between sites. No shade at all, but made it easy for satellite dish. Great hosts and campground workers. Trash pickup at site. Easy to navigate roads even with a 45'+toad. Family friendly. No dog park, but lots of space to walk your pet. Stayed here twice in June going and coming from Northern Michigan. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Good family camping park. Sites level gravel with patio and fire ring. Campground has pools, store, clean restrooms/showers, fishing pond, access to the petting zoo, playground, gift shops, restaurant with dinner-theater all next door at Cornwell's Turkeyville. FHU's and some sites pull through, others back-in. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

NOT a resort but nice rv park for a restful stop. We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We did get close to restroom/shower [2nd row] but had to walk thru other sites to get there ~ no pathway through ~ the walk around to end of row was not convenient. This is a newer park built 2011 so everything is updated, modern, and nice. Shower/restroom building (only one) is also shared by pool guests - showers in separate rooms and private wing are very large surrounded by tall concrete walls. Each have a small bench and 2 wall hooks, but no shelves for your stuff except for wire shelf in shower for soap and shampoo ~ thank goodness for that. Rubber mats on floor but spray from shower soaks the floor. No ventilation - thought odd for new building. ~ Restrooms in separate area wing are communal - very roomy w/5 sinks and modern. But no paper towels for camper to use for clean up after use, only air dryers for hands and again no hooks or shelves for your stuff. Of course new washer/dryers ~ very nice area to do your clothes New campground all gravel roadways and pads [a few concrete] lots of grassy area but no trees - only a couple of young ones totally out in open under hot sun no shade anywhere [they need to plant lots more trees] nice swimming pool though to help cool off. All sites are well spaced far apart for privacy - not squeezed together - each with picnic table and fire ring. Wanted to use our patio mat on the grass and gravel adjacent to our rv but camp management would not allow it - upsetting. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is well designed, friendly people, accommodating.

Fairly new (4 yrs.+) Well maintained, great public facilities. Live turkeys roaming by restaurant (which has excellent food). Excellent gift shop, Ice cream parlor, and theater. Lot's to do here. Many activities for kids like tractor pull hay ride, mini train ride etc.

Live goats and donkeys to see. We have stayed here twice in last 6 months. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Convenient on/off of highway. Large sites that were level. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. Pool area is very nice and also has a splash pad area for the kids. Sites are very spacious. Not many trees so shade is not available on all sites. Overall an excellent experience. We only stayed overnight, but would stay again. Excellent park, great owners, friendly staff. We have stayed here quite a few times since they opened due to location for family and friends. The biggest drawback is their WiFi, very weak although they tell you it works fine, hard to get on even to check email and have a direct line of site to access point. First day we where there we had an air show for the park. 6 Vintage WWII air planes circled CG for over 30 minutes they left then came back circled even more. They had smoke streaming out. Was really amazing so this was an added plus. Don't know why they did this but it was great.

Also had a GMC motor home rally, really neat.

Park had really nice spaces. When I called lady said they where 60 by 40, no way in the world where they that big. If our 38-foot 5th parked where they dug out we'd have been in the road, so we backed up onto the grass. They never said any thing.

Real friendly host. Swimming pools where nice size, also nice play area for the kids also. Dog friendly park. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Some liked the Turkeyville cafe. We were not impressed at all, surprised any one was, but a neat story of why they serve turkey. Started by a turkey farmer.

The town of Marshal,l MI is a great little town. Honolulu House: best word to describe it WOW. Over 850 historical buildings in Marshall. They where almost the state Capital of MI. They even built a Governor's Mansion, now it's a museum. They have a lot of things to see. Great little town.

This is a nice park with one issue. They have a practice of putting the picnic tables in the middle of the site. When you pull in you are forced to move the picnic table. Fortunately there was another camper that helped me. I went to the office and explained that there was a picnic table in the middle of my site and I was told that they do that for a purpose. I told them that is OK but they knew I was coming in and should have sent someone to move it. I got a look of arrogance like I didn't know what I was talking about. I asked "What if I was disabled or had a bad back"? They said that they would come and move the table. Why then did you not take me to the site and move it then. I told them that they were playing with liability and a law suit. Once again I got the arrogant look. Also the pull thru's are not level enough for a motorhome unless you don't mind your front wheels being off the ground. Seems the back ins given to the trailers are much more level. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was a great campground. It's a bit on the smaller side, but very clean, great pool and golf carts to rent so lots to do. It's a newer campground so the trees are all small but the sites are big enough so you're not right on top of your neighbors. The best part of this place is the restaurant, Turkeyville, located right at the entrance of the campground. Best turkey sandwiches I've ever eaten - tasted like Thanksgiving in the summer! The restaurant also has a gift shop and an old fashioned malt shop that's worth checking out. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our stay. The sites were large, it had a very nice pool and the staff was very helpful. At the entrance you have the Turkeyville restaurant which was excellent. They even had a dinner show which we did that wasn't exactly Broadway but it was very entertaining and great food. They had a craft fair during the day was as enjoyable as well. The only downside was the roads and sites were all gravel. Lots of dust. Lots of places to walk to dogs. It is worth the trip. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

What a pleasant surprise out in the country! An easy park to navigate once you get there, but better directional signage on the way in would be nice. Sites are well groomed gravel and quite large. Ours was pitched a little too much to the front, but still got leveled OK. Other sites appeared to be more level. Just an overnight stop, but the restaurant looked inviting - maybe next time! Very pleasant front desk person. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.
