Great park with lots of space surrounding to walk our dogs. Sites level and we used full hookup. Only there for one night so didn't use pool etc but looked very nice. Very little shade. Close to restaurant and casino. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

As you come off the highway and toward the park, GPS has you turn on a road that is too soon. Go through the blinking lights and the campground entrance is on the left immediately after the road that GPS indicates you turn on. Easy to get back but a bit frustrating after a long drive.

WOW, Great destination park or just for over nite. Friendly staff, great facilities, Also great Restaurant, Store, And Dinner Theater on the property. Plenty of activities for kids and adults, Golf Carts available for rent also. Extensive pool facility, Play ground, open space, etc. Quiet setting, clean and well maintained. Sites are made level even though area is somewhat rolling hill landscape. Will Stay here again when in the area. Lots to see and do near by. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Best RV park so far in our 10 years of traveling every summer! Very easy to maneuver, large sites that are very level! Plenty of room between sites. No low hanging tree branches! Pristine land scaping - very clean. Modern restrooms - very clean. Modern laundry room. Great staff. Great wifi. Cable TV! Hook up tower clean - no spider webs!! No dripping water spigot! Sites are gravel but hard packed and level. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to participate in nearby wedding so we didn't make use of facilities but the two pools looked very attractive. I would return with grandchildren to use the pools and adjacent miniature railroad. Close to Binder Park Zoo an excellent attraction. Casino nearby.

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is easy access from I-69 with hard packed gravel roads which were a bit wet when we arrived. The area had quite a bit of rain over several days and although the sites were dry enough, it was quite muddy just off the gravel road bed. The roads are mostly single lane but wide enough to get around the park. We drive a 45 foot MH with a tow and were easily able to navigate into, through, and out of the grounds. The sites are reasonable wide, some with a concrete patio. Most are fairly level although some portions of the campground are a bit sloped. There is grass between sites which are placed a comfortable distance apart. Utilities are placed to the middle of the site and worked well. Water pressure was average. We were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi and ended up using our Verizon hotspot, which had three bar reception. We did not utilize the laundry, rest rooms, or cable so are unable to comment on that. There is no defined dog park but the grounds are open and there are plenty of places for walking the dog. Staff were very friendly and helpful both in person and on the phone. The CG is relatively open with many young trees placed along the grounds and sites. It is far enough from the highway to be quiet and peaceful. We were there on a rainy, dreary weekend so most folks were in their respective RVs. Their season calendar reflected many activities for children and campers. We would stay again if we are in the area. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Price a little steep but it was a very clean, well groomed and well laid out park. People very friendly. Service excellent. Nice to find a park open with FHU mid April. They turn off your water at night if temps go low. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The previous reviews pretty much cover all points about this campground. This was an overnight stay for us, easy on/off interstate. Office staff was very friendly. A well stocked store, free wifi was good, electric good, water good, utilities placed well. Very dog friendly, lots of green areas to walk. Could easily stay here for a few days to catch up on laundry, etc and to relax from the road. We will stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A great RV park located just off I-69 but very quiet. Large back-in and pull-through sites, gravel, full-hookups, modern and clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. Two pools, a playground and so on. It is all open - no shade so satellite works great but it could be hot in the summer on a sunny day. Wifi also works well. Lots of green space for walking a dog. Friendly office staff and everything is in good condition. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy off and onto freeway. Gravel roads and sites. Sites level. Okay spacing between sites. No shade at all, but made it easy for satellite dish. Great hosts and campground workers. Trash pickup at site. Easy to navigate roads even with a 45'+toad. Family friendly. No dog park, but lots of space to walk your pet. Stayed here twice in June going and coming from Northern Michigan. This park has 2 beautiful pools our 2 year old granddaughter loved the wade pool. They don't have any planned activities for the kids and playground needs some updates. My family had to pay to visit 2 adults, a 2 year old and a 6 week old baby each one charged $5.00. This campground has minimal shade I felt like we were camping in a field. Did not have a welcome feeling to this campground. No tents are allowed felt like it was for rich people. We will not return. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Good family camping park. Sites level gravel with patio and fire ring. Campground has pools, store, clean restrooms/showers, fishing pond, access to the petting zoo, playground, gift shops, restaurant with dinner-theater all next door at Cornwell's Turkeyville. FHU's and some sites pull through, others back-in. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

NOT a resort but nice rv park for a restful stop. We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We did get close to restroom/shower [2nd row] but had to walk thru other sites to get there ~ no pathway through ~ the walk around to end of row was not convenient. This is a newer park built 2011 so everything is updated, modern, and nice. Shower/restroom building (only one) is also shared by pool guests - showers in separate rooms and private wing are very large surrounded by tall concrete walls. Each have a small bench and 2 wall hooks, but no shelves for your stuff except for wire shelf in shower for soap and shampoo ~ thank goodness for that. Rubber mats on floor but spray from shower soaks the floor. No ventilation - thought odd for new building. ~ Restrooms in separate area wing are communal - very roomy w/5 sinks and modern. But no paper towels for camper to use for clean up after use, only air dryers for hands and again no hooks or shelves for your stuff. Of course new washer/dryers ~ very nice area to do your clothes New campground all gravel roadways and pads [a few concrete] lots of grassy area but no trees - only a couple of young ones totally out in open under hot sun no shade anywhere [they need to plant lots more trees] nice swimming pool though to help cool off. All sites are well spaced far apart for privacy - not squeezed together - each with picnic table and fire ring. Wanted to use our patio mat on the grass and gravel adjacent to our rv but camp management would not allow it - upsetting. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is well designed, friendly people, accommodating.

Fairly new (4 yrs.+) Well maintained, great public facilities. Live turkeys roaming by restaurant (which has excellent food). Excellent gift shop, Ice cream parlor, and theater. Lot's to do here. Many activities for kids like tractor pull hay ride, mini train ride etc.

Live goats and donkeys to see. We have stayed here twice in last 6 months. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Motorhome.
