Staying here one night. Reservation made day before, excellent customer service. Facility is Exceptional. I understand this is a new owner and has made many upgrades. This park offers a Fitness Center, very nice indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. We were impressed with the lake for fishing (catch and release), they rent kayaks to paddle on lake (not large but sufficient). Playground was clean and on weekends they bring in inflatable jump stuff for the children. Rates are excellent; we Highly recommend this park and will visit again. We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.

Pros: Allows campfires, has a pool/jacuzzi, and workout room with a good variety of machines, quiet park Cons: The grounds need LOTS of work! The grounds are mostly not level gravel mixed with weeds. It rained, and there was mud and puddles all over. The grass needs cutting. The building landscaping is a mess. The "beach" is sand and weeds. Front desk staff double booked our site, but resolved it very graciously - thank you. No literature provided on area eateries, shopping, entertainment, etc. Our first time back here since new ownership. Nice folks, but LOTS of work to do on this property. PS, it appeared that non-camping guests were allowed to use the facilities....(?) We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

On the RV park property, there is a Best Western hotel, and a bowling alley, and there use to be a movie theatre, too. There are at least 2 apple orchards in the area, fast food, gas station. The Midland Mall is one exit up (122) with Kohls, Bed Bath, Beyond, Pier One, etc. There's also Walmart, Lowe's, Target, Home Depot, etc, at same exit off I-10. However, if you're not local, you don't know these things. We will come back, because overall, it's a pleasant place to camp.

Don't know what park looked like under previous owners, but new owner since Oct 2016 has trimmed trees, cut grass, etc. Picnic tables being replaced. A rare find for full timers in vacation country as it has cable and sites that have sat shot. Some road noise and for you train haters if you work at it you can hear a train or two in the distance. NOTE: We run a fan at night for white noise in bedroom. Tricky spotting entrance as it is behind hotel and entrance runs thru convention center parking lot. Stayed on way north liked it returned on way south. Indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room. Passport Am good Mon-Thu unusual as most won't take it in season. The price is a blend of normal rate of $39 and PA of $19.50. We stayed 3 nights. Apparently this park used to be really run down and now has new owners. The new people are diligently working towards bringing the park up to much better standards. It was clean, roads are paved and comfortable to negotiate and sites are concrete. Each site was roomy. The fence along the back is falling down and the grass needs TLC, but you can tell that trees have been cut back and there are signs of improvement. They offer use of the swimming pool and gym at the office. Our sewer connection was a foot above ground causing an uphill problem. We called the office (Sunday) and were told the owner would get with us the next morning. Sure enough, the yard/maintenance fellow came out and cut the connection down (and our neighbor's) which fixed the problem. Also, we had called on our way there asking for an open site for our sat dish and they accommodated us. Wifi did not reach our site. Verizon cell signal was good, water pressure was good and electric was stable. We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Fifth Wheel.

The park has a new owner and the previous owner allowed it to run down. The park looks very bad. Lots of trees were cut down and just left there. The grass was not cut either (about 6" tall) We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.

We stayed overnight at Valley Plaza RV Park on our way to upper Michigan. The park was easy to find and get in and out. The sites were gravel pull-throughs. Friendly staff and made provisions for our late arrival due to heavy road construction on I-75. We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.

This campground has suffered from a lack of maintenance. It obviously was once a top place to stop for a few nights with a lot of infrastructure. It still has a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and workout room all in good shape. The roads and sites are what need some upgrading. It is an easy on/off US-10. Bowling alley with attached burger-joint is on same property with Genghis Khan mongolian barbeque across the road. Ghenghis was our choice and it was excellent.

Strange campground. It's a situated in a large cement parking complex which features a movie theater (only open Thursday through Sunday), some sort of condominiums, a Best Western hotel, and a bowling alley with a restaurant. Some of this "resort" is chained off with weeds growing through the cement giving it a run down look. But I gave it the overall rating I did because my kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool at the campground/gym, the arcade and pool at the hotel, and the movie theater. Seems to be mostly seasonals (or year round residents for all I know) and the gym/pool appears to offer memberships to non-campers, so there was a good deal of traffic in and out. There are 3 pools and 2 hot tubs in this park, and we enjoyed all of them. The pool in the health club facility was lovely...but a few degrees too cold. We ended up spending more time at the Best Western pool because it was slightly warmer. There was a small playground/swingset, but we didn't use it very much because there wasn't much to it. Bowling prices were horrendous...for a family of five to bowl two games would have cost us $50. The movie theater, however, was very reasonably priced and showing current films. The condition of the theater is a bit run down, but it was nice to have the option to go there. There was plenty to do here between bowling, video games, mini golf, movies, and swimming. But everything except the pool cost extra-so keep that in mind. The facilities were pretty well-kept, and we would stay here again. This is a nice small campground but it is really right inside the small city of Midland, MI. If a more rustic location is your goal, skip this one. Lots of stuff for kids right outside the grounds in the Valley Plaza hotel area including indoor putt-putt, bowling, pool and an arcade. Unless you like a "resort" off of the expressway with a railroad track parallel don't come here! With two ghost town hotels attached and questionable campers, it was a total let down. Positives: pool, which I question the cleanliness. Pirate putt-putt which my kids loved. We made the best of it but it was definitely not worth the trip! Easy access off major interstate but very confusing entrance which can cause an issue with a big rig towing a vehicle. Paved interior roads but some narrow and curvy for big rigs. You should unhook your tow vehicle and check your site out before driving your rig in. We were given directions to our pull-thru site which was impossible to make a turn into. We had to back out the narrow curvy street - have other campers move their vehicle and children's toys and go down the next street and back into our site. Best sites for big rigs are those on the first street that had level paved sites and more elbow room. Also make sure to request any discounts. This park is definitely not "Big Rig Friendly". Sites and roads are very narrow, and trees have not been trimmed to avoid scrapes. Does not appear to be any reason to the placement of hookups, some are in front end of pull thru sites, some in the back. The campground is undergoing some improvements. The park needs a real bathroom and showers for campers and not for people that use the fitness center. They have one unisex shower and bathroom for hours after the fitness center closes. The park is very noisy because it is so close to both US 10 and business US 10. The reason we come here is it is close to our home and relatives. We will return to this campground for this reason only. This park does not have enough showers for the amount of campsites. It only has one unisex bathroom, after hours, for 77 sites. The lawn was not mowed for the two weeks we were there, grass very long. When it was mowed it needed to be picked up, but was not. The manager seemed to be unfriendly to say the least. The management allows three or four families on one site sleeping in multiple tents. We will not stay here again.
