Little difficult to get to off the interstate due to all the construction on the interstates around Detriot this year. IF you are looking for a quiet stay for a week this is it. Nice sites, lake, and a 27 hole championship course for $25/cart for seniors. Little driving for the sites but you are in a really nice community and very clean Not far off the interstate if heading up north. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Motorhome.

When coming be careful using GPS as the address is a 1,000 feet east of the driveway. Entrance has the golf course sign and is very wide - do not miss it

We stayed at the park as to tour the Detroit/Dearborn area. The campground is nice with paved roads and sites. There are a lot of grassy areas with nicely trimmed trees. The bathhouse was older but clean. The water and electric are way at the back of the site and we needed 50' of water house to reach our unit. The water has a super high iron content that stained our water hose & had a noticeable odor. The laundry area warns your clothes will be stained, so we did laundry in Milford. We received many OTA TV stations. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Villlage Pizza & BBQ will deliver to your campsite before dark. We had the broasted chicken and it was excellent. Henry Ford museum is about 35 minutes away and the campground will sell you discount tickets. So worth it!

Very nice park owned by the City of Dearborn, which is 35 miles away. Very clean, paved sites, not too close together. Friendly staff. Milford is a really neat village with lots of shopping nearby. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Their reservation cancellation policy is ridiculous. $10 is common and reasonable, but one night's stay when you cancelled within 3 days of making the reservation and still 3 months prior to the reservation date?! Come on, Dearborn, unteal!!! Will NEVER consider there again! We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Motorhome.

We camped here while visiting the Henry ford museum. The park is big and easy to maneuver. Utilities were good. The restrooms were clean but in some need of repair and updating. Staff was very helpful and there was security at night. We would stay here again. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Motorhome.

We are completing a week stay at Camp Dearborn over the 4th of July weekend. I have to say, this is one of the best parks we've stayed. They have a little something for everyone and most every type of camping. The park has several lakes, a beach, pool, playgrounds, tennis courts, Putt Putt, paddle boats, golf course, canteen, hayrides; it just goes on and one. Sites are fairly level and paved depending on the area you choose. We had a FHU site for our 40' MH and we have pets so there is a special area for those with furry family. I said sites are fairly level because some of them would be a challenge to get a 40 footer level. Shorter MHs, 5th wheels, TT and such should not have a problem. There are tree lined streets but plenty of open sky for satellite since there is no cable. No wifi but good Verizon 4G. There are two separate entry gates so security is pretty good. We've also seen several sheriff cars patrolling especially during the holiday weekend. I also want to spend some time at the Henry Ford Museum and the the park has discount tickets available so another perk that makes this a great place to stay in the area.
Consider it a destination or a place to rest for a few days. You will enjoy! We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Motorhome.

Interior roads were paved and sites were gravel and fairly level. The full hookups included strong 50-amp power and water. The previous review regarding high iron in the water is definitely valid - our hose had iron deposits all over it after a one-week stay and we did our laundry in town. This campground is one of the most accessible to the Henry Ford complex in the area. Spacing between sites was fairly good, and our site was long enough to accommodate our 40' motorhome and car. We would probably come back here again if in the area. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Motorhome.

Nice level sites mostly in woods. Sites were too close together in some places. No room for even a picnic table and fire rings were dangerously close to trailers. Many permanent sites along the lake and they were larger sites. They also provided places for groups to camp together. Nice beach, boats to rent, etc. main attraction water slide was closed due to water levels being low when we were there. Had a nice store. We were there mainly to see Henry Ford Museum so we didn't spend a lot of time at the trailer but kids enjoyed the playground and the lake. Only problem is this campground opens it's facilities to the public for day use making the picnic grounds, beach and other facilities very crowded during the day but it is quiet in the evenings. We would go back when school is in session. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Camped here for the month of July. Had full hook-ups in the section by the tennis court. This is a large park with fishing and swimming in their lakes. Full hook-up sites have paved sites and roads. Take note they allow tenters in the full hook-up area. Which means they throw their dirty dish water on the grass and draw bugs and flies. No trash pick up. Clothes lines all over the place. Looks like a Gypsy park in the summer. We will NOT be back. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Camped here for two weeks in August 2009. Good paved roads and sites. Full hook-ups available. Sites are large with plenty of room for slides. The tent areas have the tall mature trees, but not the paved sites. There are two large lakes for swimming & fishing plus another two lakes for fishing. They have paddle boats, miniature golf and a full 27-hole golf course. Visitors must pay entrance fee and are NOT allowed to drive to the camp sites: they must park in the park's lot and walk in. Campfires are allowed, however NO PETS are allowed. Warning: the water here is VERY HIGH in iron so, if there are any leaks on your trailer you'll soon have a bright brown-orange drip marks showing up. (CLR seems to clean them off though). We were able to get about 15 TV channels very clearly using the standard outside TV antenna on top the trailer. Would return and will. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Love this park. It is so pretty. Trees still need some time to grow in new section. Very nice overall. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful park with plenty of things for the family to enjoy (several lakes, playgrounds and a golf course). The rate for a paved full hookup site w/sewer was only 24.00 a night the weekend we camped!!! Amazing. Bathrooms are very clean! Only reason I rated only an 8 was ALL the trees in the RV area are all new so there is no shade at all. They also do not allow dogs during the peak summer months. That fact alone is a plus for some people, but my two labs would disagree. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.
