Interior roads were paved and sites were gravel and fairly level. The full hookups included strong 50-amp power and water. The previous review regarding high iron in the water is definitely valid - our hose had iron deposits all over it after a one-week stay and we did our laundry in town. This campground is one of the most accessible to the Henry Ford complex in the area. Spacing between sites was fairly good, and our site was long enough to accommodate our 40' motorhome and car. We would probably come back here again if in the area. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Motorhome.

Nice level sites mostly in woods. Sites were too close together in some places. No room for even a picnic table and fire rings were dangerously close to trailers. Many permanent sites along the lake and they were larger sites. They also provided places for groups to camp together. Nice beach, boats to rent, etc. main attraction water slide was closed due to water levels being low when we were there. Had a nice store. We were there mainly to see Henry Ford Museum so we didn't spend a lot of time at the trailer but kids enjoyed the playground and the lake. Only problem is this campground opens it's facilities to the public for day use making the picnic grounds, beach and other facilities very crowded during the day but it is quiet in the evenings. We would go back when school is in session. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Camped here for the month of July. Had full hook-ups in the section by the tennis court. This is a large park with fishing and swimming in their lakes. Full hook-up sites have paved sites and roads. Take note they allow tenters in the full hook-up area. Which means they throw their dirty dish water on the grass and draw bugs and flies. No trash pick up. Clothes lines all over the place. Looks like a Gypsy park in the summer. We will NOT be back. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Camped here for two weeks in August 2009. Good paved roads and sites. Full hook-ups available. Sites are large with plenty of room for slides. The tent areas have the tall mature trees, but not the paved sites. There are two large lakes for swimming & fishing plus another two lakes for fishing. They have paddle boats, miniature golf and a full 27-hole golf course. Visitors must pay entrance fee and are NOT allowed to drive to the camp sites: they must park in the park's lot and walk in. Campfires are allowed, however NO PETS are allowed. Warning: the water here is VERY HIGH in iron so, if there are any leaks on your trailer you'll soon have a bright brown-orange drip marks showing up. (CLR seems to clean them off though). We were able to get about 15 TV channels very clearly using the standard outside TV antenna on top the trailer. Would return and will. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.

Love this park. It is so pretty. Trees still need some time to grow in new section. Very nice overall. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful park with plenty of things for the family to enjoy (several lakes, playgrounds and a golf course). The rate for a paved full hookup site w/sewer was only 24.00 a night the weekend we camped!!! Amazing. Bathrooms are very clean! Only reason I rated only an 8 was ALL the trees in the RV area are all new so there is no shade at all. They also do not allow dogs during the peak summer months. That fact alone is a plus for some people, but my two labs would disagree. We camped at Camp Dearborn in a Travel Trailer.
