This is in an industrial area. The only thing it has is it is on Lake Muskegon. It would be ok if you are coming to fish. There is not much shade. There are several full time residents. There are a lot of screaming kids and people partying into the am. We camped at Fisherman's Landing and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful open, sunny, partially shaded park on Lake Muskegon. As we had left northern Indiana with 87 to 90 degree temperatures, the low 70's and wind coming off the lake at Fisherman's Landing was very much welcomed and wonderful. The park is all grassy sites with gravel roads that are well maintained. The sites are large and comfortable. Our problem with this park is that it does not have sewer hookup or Wifi or cable. We would gladly have stayed here a full week, but with no sewer hookup, no Wifi and no cable we made the decision to move on after only 2 days. There was a 4th reason also, but it didn't have anything to do with the park. We had just spent $1800 getting a Winegard Travl'r satellite dish and our site had a tree that blocked it. We couldn't use it. The showers were large and clean for the most part. There was some mold build up on the tiles at the base of the shower, but not enough to concern me. Water pressure was okay and Verizon had good cell signal. The normal rate at Fisherman's Landing is $35 per night. It's view of the lake and park in general is worth the $35, but with no sewer, Wifi or cable, in my opinion, decreases its worth considerably. ($30 plus $5 for 50 amp) I really wish this park would have met our needs better. I liked the setting very much...Oh well, moving onward..... We camped at Fisherman's Landing and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

501 E. Western Ave, Muskegon MI. 49443. A nice park, somewhat sparse surroundings, clean bathrooms. Weak Wi-Fi; must be just outside the office or have a signal booster. Employees very friendly. Used Passport America for two days; balance was $27/night. No sewer, but there is a dump station. 50 Amp available for $5 extra/night. Near downtown Muskegon, a clean and nice town. Cell phone reception good. We would come here again, but just for a few days, because of lack of sewer. We camped at Fisherman's Landing and Campground in a Motorhome.
