We spent 3-1/2 months here at a seasonal, monthly rate. Electric is additional. This is a lovely gem just outside major city limits. It's 2 miles of dirt road from the paved main road entrance so be prepared for lots of dusty cars! There are 4 lakes and they limit their seasonal guests. There are probably 40% of the site's that are yearly rentals and it's very heavy on locals who just come out to enjoy the lakes on the weekends. Our site had 3 huge shade trees which kept us cool during the hot summer but we were unable to get a satellite signal so we put our Direct on vacation hold. We were able to pick up limited local channels with our antenna. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of planned family activities on the weekends. Grounds are immaculate. We are originally from this area so we spent a lot of time visiting family & friends but there's lots of nice attractions nearby. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park with lots of lakes. Park is full of almost full-timers. Lots of planned activities. We had fun. Some 50amp sites are shaded but all taken by full-timers. The rest are in the open. Dirt road into park is bad and muddy as is the roads in the park. Our site was at the far end, so WiFi was non-existent. And we had to drive to the office or restroom. Over priced but, Would stay again if closer to WiFi. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

we stayed at a pull thru site U18. It was a nice sized site. However, it was on the corner of the entrance to the seasonal area. Basically, so busy it was like camping next to a busy road. the sitting area of the site faced the road also - so you had no escape of the dust or noise, headlights etc as you sat outside on your site. We relayed these concerns and that if they flipped the site so that that the services were by the road - they could be quieter (sitting on the other side of the RV). One night we camped they had some event on the other side of the park and we sat and watched an exodus of some 50 cars / golf carts go past over the course of an hour. They were, however, very receptive to our ideas and said they would absolutely look into rearranging the site. We will return - its still a beautiful park with nice staff. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The road(s) approaching the campground are horrible. Dirt road, zero gravel. Our travel trailer and truck were covered in mud even though we went as slow as possible. Huge mess. When I called to make our reservation, I asked for full hookup and a site facing one of the lakes. Upon arrival we were given water and electric only and an inside loop spot. No apology for the reservation issue. Overall setting seemed ok but the road conditions ruined it for us. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Park Was okay. But I think it was more then $48 a night. We had to pay a fee for the gate access card and got that money back after the end of our stay. And Its cash only for access card and you cant add it to the bill. Roads are Dirt gravel and can be a mess with rain. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a huge campground, beautifully situated around four lakes and endless green lawns. It's almost 3 miles around the perimeter! Coming down Haas Rd. to the campground, you leave pavement for the last mile and have to travel over a lousy dirt road and compete with big trucks coming in and out of gravel pit. There's a nasty little hole on the right just as you leave the pavement so watch out for it. Registration was efficient but staff seemed grumpy. The interior roads and sites and hard pack dirt. The overwhelming majority of sites are back in, many on the lakefronts. The spacing of the sites is very inconsistent, with many generously spaced and other areas more tightly packed. There are a handful of pull thru sites, and we had one, which we would highly recommend. Z1, a super long pull through near lake 4 with a patio area so large that the fire pit was about 60 feet away. The sites are level. Most seem satellite friendly. No cable. The utilities worked fine but the water pressure seemed low. The WiFi was o.k. early in the morning and late at night and completely nonexistent the rest of the time. Very frustrating. The restrooms are nice enough but poorly spaced. They are all in the front section of the campground and it is literally a five minute DRIVE to the nearest restroom from the lake 4 area. A $10 deposit gets you a key card to get in and out of the campground. The lakes are very nice, two with beaches and all types of water fowl to view. Lots of seasonal campers with their golf carts. Plenty of dumpsters. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This was really a nice park. Even though it is located in an urban area, you feel like you are out in the country. We were in sites 46 and 47 on Lake 4, Section Z. I requested a lakeside lot when I made the reservation and that's what we got. Sunsets were beautiful over the lake. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We waited until after 9:30 to leave the park for the Ford Museum, Greenfield Village and the Rouge Factory Tour. We were able to avoid most of the morning traffic. It took us 6 hours to see Greenfield Village, which got us stuck in afternoon traffic. The next day we started out with the factory tour and then the museum so we could get on the road back to the park by 3:00. Don't miss the factory tour where they make the F150's. That was a great surprise.

It is a shame this very nice campground has such a horrible road system. Do not come to this campground with a clean rig or vehicle because after you get to your site you will either be covered in dust or mud, dependent on the weather at the time. Otherwise, the sites are nice, mostly level, situated around the bodies of water, and reliable utilities. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for convenience but was a little pricey. PROS: Classic private Summertime campground for families noted for lake access. Swingsets interspersed among camp circles, entertainment facilities for kids. After hours gate access requires a keycard. Well maintained campground. CONS: Nearby neighbors but quiet early in camping season. No nearby bath house to Village area (not a problem on full hookups). Gravel site, no picnic table, no tree on our site for shade. Deposit required for gate access keycard. Hard water left immediate rust residues. Many many rules: no tents, no pallets, no tying laundry line to trees, guest fees... Tips for other Campers:

Walmart, Tractor Supply, Lowe's (Milford Road) and Meijer (Wixom Road) are all nearby. The drive in on Haas Road is dirt near the entrance. 12 Mile Road is also a dirt road (take Grand River to Haas Rd.). The Village is longterm residents, well taken care of and quiet (early June).

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful, peaceful park with 4 lakes and mature trees. The lakes are home to many ducks, geese, and swans, turtles, and fish. There is a high percentage of seasonal and park models throughout (many are families that have been coming here for decades) but all are well maintained. The roads are easily traveled by a big rig, and all sites around Lake #4 (Y & Z sites) will accommodate 45+ footers. AT&T signal is poor but acceptable (1-2 bars). We did not give it a higher rating because there are not enough laundry facilities for a park this size (2 laundry rooms with a total of 7 washers & 7 dryers). Also, despite nice long/deep sites, our fire ring is located 3 feet from a pine tree and 3 feet from a slope to the water, limiting use. Roads are dirt and frequently in need of grading, especially on the entrance road but also throughout the park. There was also a mixup with our reservation which couldn't be resolved. There's no off-leash dog park, but there's a county dog park just a couple of miles away (Lyon Oaks - $$). The Camp Store is only open on weekends during May/June until school gets out for the summer. Note that only about 1/3 of their sites have sewer hookups. There is a honey wagon that can be scheduled for something like $8-10 per trip. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Large park, nice setting. Very quiet at night, even over memorial day weekend. I would rate it better if it was managed better. They will not reserve sites because seasonal users get first pick. We were in a group, and our group, although when we made reservations,(we were assured we would be), were NOT near each other. The gave us a site that was promised to someone else, and that person had to go to office and complain as we were already there. Its like they didn't keep track of who was where. The grass isn't very well maintained. Lots of weeds and dandelions. I won't stay here again. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Called on August 1st for Labor day weekend reservation (praying they had a space for us) and she said they had two spots left. Told us we would be in "L" section, which I wasn't thrilled about-being in a circle, not close to water, and near the front enterance. When we got there, she told us they squeezed us into spot G4. In front of the beach, with nothing but woods behind us. Amazing spot. Couldn't believe it. Beach was clean, quiet, and filled with good people. Quiet at night (even when sold out on Labor day weekend)...Literally our only complaint was that the water had some awful smell to it, methane/rotten eggs. Not a big deal relatively speaking. Bring an extension cord for 30 amp. You will share a "plug in station" with the person next to you. Totally separate hookup and meter, but it's in one spot and if you can't maneuver properly, you'll need an extension for water and electric.
