We were not given a very good site, #88. It was small and too close to our seasonal neighbors. It was not very level. While it had full hook-ups, the sewer was so far away I had to use two sewer hoses to reach it. While walking our dogs, we saw some much better sites elsewhere in the park. We didn't make a fuss about it though. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Motorhome.

Go to Advantage Point to see the boat traffic on the St. Claire River. They do an excellent job of showing off the features of Lake Huron and the St. Claire River. There is also a wonderful walkway along Lake Huron with many great features and ample parking.$

It's a nice park and seems to be managed well. The sites are close to each other, though. It is located right beside the interstate so the road noise is there all the time. It's also right behind a Cracker Barrel. There wasn't much shade in the area where my site was located. If you can, get a site real close to the washrooms and office and you'll have excellent wifi. The check in was friendly and easy. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Motorhome.

Primarily a seasonal CG, this park has limited spots for overnighters. My husband says it's where old RVs go to die. We stayed here for a week to attend a family reunion. Our site was gravel and had electric and water. 30 amp service couldn't handle a/c and my hair dryer at the same time. The clubhouse was nearby and offered clean and modern restrooms and 4 showers including one handicap accessible. Laundry area was kept clean, 4 sets of washers/dryers, $1.75 wash/$1.50 to dry. CG lost water one morning for several hours. Lots of puddles and mud after a mild rain, some sites near us were low so experienced a little lake under their rigs. The CG is very convenient to grocery, restaurants and shopping. Limited tv channels on over-the-air, decent free wi-fi and strong AT&T and T-Mobile cell signals. Definitely not a destination CG. We would stay here again only because we have family in the area. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Spend an afternoon watching the passing freighters under the Blue Water Bridges. Sperry's Moviehouse in downtown Port Huron is a unique theater (it was once a department store) - highly recommend.

We called in here late in the afternoon on a very hot day after having driven down from Mackinaw. The CG is easy to find, located just off the interstate prior to crossing the bridge in to Canada (travelling east). Fortunately, the reception lady was able to give us a space on a (Canadian) holiday weekend, that we could shoe-horn our 40' 5er in to. Although it did take the help of a couple of other guest who uprooted some marker posts, enabling us to squeeze in. On the site we had the utility posts are shared which meant that for us, power and water was on our door side and the cable and hose ran across the site and under the rig. With that said, the power was a stable 120v 50amp supply and the water came at a good pressure. We didn't bother hooking up to sewer, although it was there if we needed it. This appears to be a very sociable CG with several organized activities (pot luck, coffee mornings, etc.). Nearby we found diesel at a very good price when compared to what we'd been paying elsewhere in MI and certainly what I expect we'll be shelling out for in ON. Despite being so close to a major interstate, traffic noise wasn't really noticeable while the AC was running. We found this to be a good stopping point if travelling too or from Canada at the Port Huron/Sarnia crossing point. One thing to consider. If using a credit card, there is a separate charge - in our case $4. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A clean park with good WiFi, nice for an overnight stop. We were allowed to pull through using 2 back to back spaces and avoided unhooking. Paying cash saved the $3 card fee. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park was very clean and the hosts were very nice. We had easy satellite access... there was no cable. The wifi was very good and we had good cell service. We had a tricky back-in due to an inconveniently placed bricked flower enclosure, but getting out was easy. The utilities were good and easily accessed. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

As previously stated, near the interstate - and accessible - but we didn't hear the noise. Good jump off to visit the another part of North America (Canada). Paid cash because they have a 2.5 % charge for credit card. Some nicely placed flowers throughout park. We were in a class B motorhome (no slides nor toad) and stayed in electric/water site - Absolutely ZERO TV reception! We would stay here again for a single night but not longer. There were many people who reserved for several months at a time. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Motorhome.

The good news is the park is very close to the Interstate and the Bluewater Bridge to Canada, making it very convenient for an overnight stop before crossing the border. The bad news is the park is very close to the Interstate and the Bluewater Bridge to Canada, making for constant road noise 24/7. That issue aside, the park appears to be well kept up, and the woman that checked us in was very pleasant and accommodating. Our premium site had very good 50 amp electric and a well placed sewer connection. The water spigot was one of four on a single riser servicing four sites, and required about 35' of hose to reach it. The site was a bit closer to the neighboring sites than we like though. The park WiFi was quite good at about 5 meg down and 3 meg up. Our Verizon signal was excellent as well. All in all, we felt this was a good overnight or short term stay location, but a bit to close and noisy for a longer term stay. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed this quiet park located with easy access to the border and Port Huron. We spent several days here and found it to be clean and friendly. The sites are reasonably large and have good 50 amps. They are all back-ins but the road is ample and easy to maneuver our 45 footer. It is definitely a spot that we will return to again. The park has one big thing going for it - the location -and not much else. I wanted to stop for a night before entering Canada, so this was very convenient, as it's right at the border. The park is crowded and a little dilapidated, mostly because of the seasonal residents. The parking is very difficult, as the lanes between the rows are very close together, and everyone has their tow/towed vehicle parked practically into the lanes. You do have the convenience of being in a city, but with that, of course, the disadvantages, in the way of noise. There are a lot of nice trees and grass in the park. The cell signal is very good, and the wifi surprisingly good for park wifi. The service was sub par. It was very difficult to make a reservation, since the woman who runs the park rarely answers the phone, and takes quite a while to return calls. She also has a crazy system for assigning spots (all scribbled into a big book with a pen, nothing is on the computer), and she had difficulty trying to figure out what was open when I arrived. I supposedly had a reservation for a specific site, but that site was taken when I arrived. She then sent me to a different site that was also taken. I tried to call her and ask if I could park in the adjacent spot, but she would not answer the phone, although she was in the office. I had to walk back to the office to straighten it out. Although she was lazy and incompetent, she was quite friendly, as long as you didn't need anything from her. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a park nicely situated only one mile from the USA/Canada border crossing, right beside Hwy 69. It can be a bit noisy depending on where your site is. The park shares the same driveway as the Cracker Barrel. The signs are not very large so you need to pay attention. Township Park #1 is right across Water St. with swings and an awesome spiral slide. Decent park Wi-Fi, but slows down as park fills. There are good Verizon and AT&T signals and good water pressure. The sign posts that mark each site are sometimes removable, which can come in handy when entering and exiting a site. The washrooms are clean. Our site was close to the office, so the road was still fairly wide, providing a lot of swing room to back in to our site. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I am surprised there haven't been more recent reviews of this park, as it is absolutely wonderful for a short stay. It is very close to the highway, so after a few days the hum-drum vehicle noise begins to "get to you", but otherwise this park is a gem. Traffic slows down considerably at night, so sleeping is no problem whatsoever. The park managers are extremely helpful and genuinely concerned with the well-being of their guests. They have gone out of their way to assist us with a truck engine problem, and directed us to a great mechanic, even offering transportation if we needed it! Sites are spacious and considerably level (not perfect). All hook-up combinations are available. We had a FHU site, which goes for $32. Water/electric only is $27. The dump site looks very level and well-equipped. Fresh water is high pressured and exceptionally clean and delicious (I didn't even filter it). Electric power is great. WiFi is excellent. Bathrooms and showers are top-notch; very modern, very clean, and there's plenty of hot water. The handicap shower is superb and very spacious. Be aware that the website link is not currently working for this park. But don't worry about that, just go there! We will definately be back whenever our travels bring us to the area. We camped at Port Huron Township RV Park in a Truck Camper.
