This is a decent RV park with a lovely view of the Straits. Registration area is tight and not level. Staff was friendly and helpful. Roads are hard pack dirt and a bit tight. Sites are grass, mostly level and a bit tight. Picnic table, some sites had fire pits. The utilities worked fine. No cable. Didn't try OTA. The first two rows are satellite friendly, the third row is shady and hit or miss. The internet was excellent. The restrooms are old and uninviting, but clean. Big rigs are best suited to the back half of the second row, starting around 215. Cell service was good. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

The bridge will cost you $4 each way for car, $5 per axle for RV. Across the road in front of the RV park is beach access. Great place to relax and enjoy the sunsets.

This is a nice, smaller campground with a great location close to St. Ignace and right across the road from Lake Michigan, with its own small, rocky beach. Sites in the front row are close together and have a great view of the lake. The other sites are long pull-through, gravel and grass, and all have full hookups. Wifi was often weak. Bathrooms, showers and laundry room were large and clean. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground right on the shore of Lake Michigan. We had a big pull-through spot with plenty of room for our car. It rained all day one day but sites drained well. Plenty to do in this area. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a nice park, close to St. Ignace but away from the main drag. It was a convenient base from which to see Macinac Island. Using a/c costs an extra $3/day. We were warned upon check-in that the internet may or may not work; it didn't. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Big rigs might have difficulty here. Mostly, this RV park was full of large fifth wheels and travel trainers; there were few large motorhomes. Spaces are fairly close together so trying to get a big rig in here could be difficult. If you get the front row, you get an ocean view but you also get much more wind and noise. However, if you park in the back you get a lot more lawn, it is quiet, but no lake view.

Stayed at Lakeshore Campground for a week. Pleasant accomodations and a very beautiful view. Staff was very pleasant. The only negative was the strength of the wi-fi. I could not get a very good reception. Other than that, I would recommend this campground and would stay there again. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects the 7 nights for 6 rate, there is a $2 reduction if you pay cash on a nightly basis. This family owned park is a rustic campsite but in a perfect position overlooking Lake Michigan and close to the Mackinac Bridge. We had a second row pull thru but still had a view of the lake. Roads and site gravel with grass between. Sites mainly spacious. Restrooms clean but need refurbishment. Very friendly owners, good antenna reception. Wifi either excellent or non excitant but understand this is a work in progress. Easy access from I-75 but no highway noise and very quiet at night. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here near labor day weekend and we could only get in Friday and Sat night. It was not full but people get all crazy about Labor day and it fills because you can walk the bridge only on Labor day. As far as the park it is easy to get a big rig in and ample room. Sites are fairly close to each other. It is an older park but kept up well. We had 50 amp service water sewer and pretty good WiFi. No cable TV and we could not pick up anything via antenna. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had no problems. Our site was a back in and had no problems. Sites are close together but had enough room to park our truck next to our unit. People in office were friendly. No cable service which would have been nice. Wifi was on and off, early in morning we had good service at night time it was hard to get on. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Best park in the area for a view of Lake Michigan and the Mackinac Bridge. The arrangement of power, water and sewer on the sites that overlook the lake are "interesting" and they work. The buses drive straight in so the front of the bus faces the lake. The 5th wheels and other trailers back in so the back window faces the lake. This means the RV electrical, water and sewer maybe facing each other. This solved with multiple sewer hookups as well as dual water connections. The sites were close but it did not distract from the view. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice place. View of Lake Michigan. Quiet. Spaces fairly tight, but do-able. Best part of staying here is free shuttle to and from Mackinac Island. Just call a half hour ahead of time and it picks you up. Walk to the lake shore for pretty sunsets. Extra charge for A/C and electric heater is a bit much. Good laundry. Overall a pretty, peaceful park. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Price is average for weekly rate - - pay for six nights and get seventh night free. We enjoyed our stay at this very nice park. Not much in the way of amenities (restrooms/showers and laundry) but a great location for exploring the Mackinac Island area. Easy access for any size rig. Many sites have view of Lake Michigan and water and sewer hookups on both sides, so motorhomes can pull in and towables can back in. Some trees, but satellite reception should be possible in most locations. Sites are fairly level gravel/grass with fair spacing between sites. WiFi worked well most of the time. Friendly, family run operation. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

It is about 10-15 minutes to the Mackinac Island ferries in St. Ignace. Parking is available at the docks, or they will pick you up at the RV park if you call.

Nice park across a quiet street to Lake Michigan. Great views of the lake and Mackinaw bridge. Clean laundry and store with few RV supplies. Boat companies that go to Mac Island pick you up at campground. The people in the area call St Ignace the quiet side and I'd have to agree. We would stay here again if in the area. Fairly level gravel/grass site. We were on the second row and able to pull through, and had a view of the lake when no one parked in front row. Clean bathrooms. Our site had a tree, so it was somewhat narrow. Rate was for staying a week. Very friendly owners and campers. Dog was able to swim in the lake, and retrieve behind the camper. Additional cost for A/C, but it was cool enough that it was not needed. Convenient to St Ignace and surrounding area. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Ours was a full hookup site overlooking Lake Michigan. We could see the large ships carrying cargo passing through the Mackinaw Straits. A little pricey but worth it. We will stay here again. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.
