Water & electric only site. Strong water pressure so bring a regulator. WIFI spotty at best. A few over the air TV signals available. Site not at all level. For the first time in our RVing life we had a very strange encounter with a rather rude older woman who showed up on our 2nd afternoon after a day of sightseeing in the local area asking who we were and when we came into the park and if we were going to pay her. We had not seen here before so we don't even know if she worked in the park since she did not identify herself but asked to see a receipt since she stated that she could not find any "card" on us in the office. I showed her our receipt and she left without so much as a thank you. We would not return in the future. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Many restaurants and tourist shops within 1 mile of the park. Mackinac Island is a great way to spend a day visiting the sights there which we did by bicycle. Great pizza @ BC pizza. Fireworks are a regular Saturday night feature on the waterfront until early Sept.

Tiki is a fairly average rv campground with a great location for visiting Mackinac Island and other area attractions. There are a couple of semi-paved sites that are level but most sites are dirt/grass and not level. The guy in the office is helpful. The CG could use some updating but it's a fine place to stay for a night or two. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

A worthwhile stay if using Passport America or other discounts; otherwise it's a bit pricey. Sites are arranged helter-skelter, some pull-thrus but mostly back-ins. Our site was on a slope but was doable, some had their front wheels well into the air. Some sites are very close together (ours was), others have adequate spacing. The dust from interior roads is significant and you can expect your vehicles to be covered each day. The free WiFi was sporadic, and while Verizon cell was weak, data worked well. Some areas are heavily treed, but we were able to use a tripod to receive DirecTV. Fair OTA TV. Hookups worked well except for the sewer fitting being elevated 8" above ground level. A park with a large variety of sites, and how well you enjoy your stay will depend on where you're located. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

At full price, we would rate this park lower because it has no amenities and is pretty dusty, but at this Passport America price, it's hard to beat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was level, shaded, the campground was quiet, the utilities worked fine. It is well located with easy access just blocks outside downtown St. Ignace. Very easy ferry access to get over the Mackinac Island, quick and easy freeway access to go North or South, or head West. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mackinac Island for day tripping: must ride a ferry. Campground offers discount ferry on Scheppler, but Chamber of Commerce has $15 coupon book for a twofer ferry ride on any ferry line, Mackinaw City (across toll bridge) for restaurants, bars, specialized ferry rides. Day trip to Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas. Nice casino nearby.

Great little park. Very clean. North woods feeling. Pleasant campers. We stayed 3 nights. Great for my wife and I. Very convenient for trips to Mackinaw island.

But if you have children, you may want to consider Mackinaw City. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is very convenient to the ferries to Mackinaw Island and restaurants. It is easy to drive by the entrance which was discussed when we checked in as we aren't the only ones that missed the road. Spaces are fairly close but not impassable. They are also shorter making parking of the tow vehicle or toad a bit of a challenge. Sites are gravel, grass and dirt. The water pressure was good as was electric. We would stay here again. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is very convenient to the multitude of restaurants in Saint Ignace, the Mackinac Ferry will send a shuttle, and the Casino is just up the road. The park itself offers few, no, amenities other that the basic but is well kept and quite. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. The rate reflects the Passport America rate plus three dollars for 50 amp service. Only a handful of the sites have a view of Lake Huron.
The park closes in October for the season and opens in May. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an older but clean park close to everything you need in the area. We stayed in the heavily treed area in a pull thru with 30 amp service (this is the UP - you should not need 2 AC's running). There is newer section of the park which has FHUs but no trees. The passport america rate for 4 days was a great value. Our site was water/electric only but the dump station was convenient on the way out. Wi-fi was adequate. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground on UP Michigan area. Easy access. Site was good pull thru. Some sites are wooded but we had clear view for satellite. Wifi was decent. Good Sprint/Verizon coverage. Campground is much bigger then it appears. Lots of tent sites back in the woods. Nice hike/walking areas. Would use this place again. Site was not the most level but was able to position rig so that levelers didn't need too much. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A very quiet park situated on a hill overlooking Lake Huron. Few camp sites have the lake view. Many pull thru and back in sites with some concrete pads, most are grass, level, with water, sewer and 30/50A services. Passport America discount good for 4 days. Once four days are exceeded, the cost is the normal rate for one day and then the four days can be used again. Very efficient and friendly office staff. Laundry and bath house facilities are located by the office however, I did not use these facilities. Fire ring and picnic table located at each camp site with trees for shade. Plenty of space between camp sites with sites long enough to accept a 40' Class A plus an 18' trailer attached. Another bonus is Shepler's Ferry will send a shuttle to take you to the ferry pier for your visit to Mackinac Island and return you to Tiki RV Park (FREE). Office sells firewood for the fire rings. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Shopping and eateries are within a mile of the RV park. Ferries to Mackinac Island are also within a mile of the park. Access to Ontario, Canada is a hour drive north. Make sure you have cash to pay for bridge toll into and our of Canada. Credit/Debit cards not accepted. Have a passport. Leave your firearms at home. You can't take them into Canada. Soo Locks just before International Bridge. Java Joe Cafe is a small, local cafe is within walking distance to the park.
