They advertise full hookups and let you reserve them through Coast 2 Coast, but they have so few of them, don't expect to get one. Watch where you walk, because the kids on bicycles don't watch out for you, not even if you are driving a motor home. Very, very dusty. Staff very indifferent to you, they really don't care that you chose to stay here. Glad I only booked two nights. We camped at Saginaw Bay Resort (outdoor adventure park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here as ROD members. We had reserved a full hook up, but they were all taken when we checked in on a Wednesday afternoon. The first site we were on totally flooded after a heavy rain (in the back of the campground). The roads are mostly dirt and were very muddy. Bathrooms were just "OK". There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor. They both have liners rather than cement. The indoor pool's liner ripped and that pool was closed for the 4 days we were there. There are 2 nice playgrounds, a very nice 9 hole mini-golf, a beach and planned activities on the weekends. There are no dog walks and most of the sites are not very grassy. Cell phone coverage is spotty and we weren't able to use our satellite dish due to all the trees. We camped at Saginaw Bay Resort (outdoor adventure park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here under Resorts of Distinction so did not pay anything. The park is very well maintained and attractive. But to say there are full hookup sites is stretching things. They were all occupied by folks who had obviously been there quite awhile--flags, awnings, decorative things, and lots of stuff sitting around the rigs. The quiet time is not necessarily maintained at night. It's crowded with families and children, not watching where they're going, difficult to drive through the park. And no internet access whatever. We camped at Saginaw Bay Resort (outdoor adventure park) in a Motorhome.

This is an outdoor adventures membership campground. We joined last year, and this is the only campground we have used out of 5 available to us in Michigan. This is a nice campground, with all the amenities. The biggest draw back is there are not many showers. Not a lot of bathrooms available either. Also, I find the sites to be kind of small compared to other campgrounds we have stayed at. Some sites are larger, but you got to beat the retirees to get them. You make a reservation, but sites are first come first served, which I don't like. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and they don't rape you at the store. The pool is nice, but can get crowded. They have "adults only" for an hour during the day at the pool, and that is kind of nice, because you can relax and have the kids play elsewhere, and enjoy the quiet. Our kids are old enough to go to the playground themselves, so we kind of like it. They just built a nice putt-putt course. And it is relatively cheap to play ($2.00), and there is also a pond or small lake with a small beach. I consider this a destination campground to take the kids. They really like it. I don't know if I'll get my money's worth out of it over 5 years, but it is nice. I haven't had any problem getting in on holiday weekends. At the outdoor adventures in Davidson, you can forget getting in there on holidays. I've tried 3 times now. We camped at Saginaw Bay Resort (outdoor adventure park) in a Travel Trailer.
