Excellent facility. Everything about it is perfect. We chose a pond view pull in site in the front section and it was beautiful. Nice concrete pad with plenty of room for chairs, etc. Park is very well maintained. Extremely quiet. It is away from the traffic of town but close enough to enjoy everything going on in Traverse City. Casino is 2 miles away. There are sections for Class A motorhomes and another section for other RV's. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We happened upon this resort after make a big mistake we made to stay at another nearby resort, which had a great rating from Good Sam. We forfeited our 2 week reservations and moved to Traverse Bay RV Resort. This resort is comparable to any of the best resorts I've seen in FL. The grounds are kept meticulous on a weekly basis. Staff is friendly. The sites in the south loop and north loop are for Class A motor homes only, and the middle section is for Class C. Great proximity to Traverse City and all the amenities in the area. Sites are big and many that are owner rented are landscaped. There are some lots that have not been landscaped by the owner or developer. Ask for a landscaped lot. Being in a back in is as nice as being in a pull in pond view site. In fact, the back in site gives you a bit more privacy. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $76.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for about 5 days. Very nice park & very clean. Asphalt roads, and concrete to park camper on. But it's way too expensive for our tastes. It was the only place we could get reservations, as not only were we there over the 4th of July, but the Cherry Festival was going on also. The only reason I gave it a 7 is because of the price, but we were paying for the amenities we didn't use...pool, etc. This is mainly a place where you buy a campsite (ours was for sale at $35,000.00). Would I stay there again? No, but only because of the rates. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a lot to do in Traverse City, we our spent the days sight seeing. By the time we got back to our coach, we were too tired to go to the pool & hot tub.

We stayed the month and received the monthly discount (I hope). Site was clean, grassy & mowed frequently. Had at least 1 or 2 events each week and open to all. People were friendly especially the office staff. Didn't use their wi-fi but our Verizon worked well. Cable was good. Only problem were the frequent power outages when it got hotter. They didn't last very long, just an inconvenience. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A beautiful resort and very friendly staff. This sites are very pretty and have all of the amenities. There is a fitness room, which we did not use, and it was quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again and will in the fall. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is immaculate. Pool is small but very nice. Shower facilities are among the nicest we've encountered. Internet and cable were both good, although its a little bit of a pain using their provider launch page that made connecting slow for Internet access. This is a luxury RV resort so its a little stuffy, but everyone was very nice and accommodating. We would stay again. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Paved sites, grassy yards, beautiful landscaping, nice clean showers and laundry, good WIFI (except for Labor Day weekend), good cable. Many sites are privately owned, several for sale. Most of the folks were very friendly. Hot tub was wonderful. Very nice place. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I think for that price you should have internet and cable. We were told that Internet was free, but we could never sign on. We were offered a cable box to connect to the TV if you wanted cable; however, we could not get to the back of our TV without removing it. The park is clean We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely park. Too far from Traverse City to bike, so had to drive and park to enjoy the area bike trails. Nice place, nice people. Pretty pricey, but certainly very comfortable place to be. Would probably stay here again. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a beautifully landscaped park with very nice concrete, level pads. The people working here are first rate and we met some very nice folks during our summer stay. Excellent fitness facility and amenities. The only real negative at this park is the well water quality. While we are aware that this area is famous for high iron content, this water also had hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg)smell. Be prepared to either buy water, or double carbon filter the water lines. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Awesome adult oriented park. Beautiful setting and very peaceful. A lot of activities provided for everyone staying in the park. Close to so many things going on in the area. My favorite RV resort. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our second time at this resort. Although a little pricey, it is very clean, friendly and well managed. Separation into two "Class A" areas and one "Class C, 5th Wheel and Trailer" areas seems a little snobbish, especially since the non Class A area seemed the most active! Nice pool and spa, although the pool is a little on the small side. Trash containers to dispose of dog poo would be a VERY good addition! (I took off one star because of this!). We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park in a beautiful area. The sites are well manicured and everything is very clean. Everyone is friendly--staff and guests. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. This will be our destination on future visits to the Traverse City area. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a really top notch resort. The sites are well laid out. Our on a small pond. The staff is friendly and professional. The area around here – basically Traverse City – has so much to do that you could easily stay here a month or more and be busy every day. A longer say is also a great possibility – just relax and spend the summer. We got a serious lecture about controlling our dog – all the residents watched - we were told. Not a big deal, but I guess some people need the lecture. However, we found the owners/residents did in fact seem to be watching us closely. The resort and staff – a 9/10. The residents – a 6/7. The Traverse Bay area a 10. Prices were reasonable – we’d stay again, but we sure wish the gang was more friendly. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A beautiful well manicured Luxury RV park. Beautiful entrance, nice paved roads, lush landscaping between sites, a nature trail, huge dog park, fitness room, pool etc. The difference here is the friendliness of the owners all around us. I will return. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
