It is a beautiful park in a nice area. Concrete pads are level but the patios could be larger. Lots of places like the dog walks are extremely muddy after a rain. Pool and hot tub are closed pretty early (September). WiFi is pretty bad and the park owners say it is not their problem. I think it is their problem and their attitude is quite discouraging. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

An excellent park, with all of the amenities you would expect from a premium price park and a few more. All sites were perfectly clean with utilities well matched for the location. All you saw was grass, concrete pads, paved roads, landscaping and water features - no dirt or even gravel. Easy access to all sites, although our pad was on a curve that required our 45' motorhome to cut over the grass just a bit, but we had a nice lake in front. I especially enjoyed the included bicycles you could sign out for at no extra fee. Management was helpful and friendly. We recommend and would return to this park. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were very pleased with the work and service we had done at the local Freightliner shop - Grand Traverse Diesel Service Inc. It is on the other side of town, but worth the drive.

Excellent facility. Everything about it is perfect. We chose a pond view pull in site in the front section and it was beautiful. Nice concrete pad with plenty of room for chairs, etc. Park is very well maintained. Extremely quiet. It is away from the traffic of town but close enough to enjoy everything going on in Traverse City. Casino is 2 miles away. There are sections for Class A motorhomes and another section for other RV's. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We happened upon this resort after make a big mistake we made to stay at another nearby resort, which had a great rating from Good Sam. We forfeited our 2 week reservations and moved to Traverse Bay RV Resort. This resort is comparable to any of the best resorts I've seen in FL. The grounds are kept meticulous on a weekly basis. Staff is friendly. The sites in the south loop and north loop are for Class A motor homes only, and the middle section is for Class C. Great proximity to Traverse City and all the amenities in the area. Sites are big and many that are owner rented are landscaped. There are some lots that have not been landscaped by the owner or developer. Ask for a landscaped lot. Being in a back in is as nice as being in a pull in pond view site. In fact, the back in site gives you a bit more privacy. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice amenities, clubhouse , tennis , exercise rooms. Close to Traverse City but quiet. Great service and helpful hosts. Owners of lots and other renters all very friendly . Great space and view on pull-in site 103, across from excellent laundry . We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Old mission peninsula wine tours, boating in either bay of Lake Michigan or torch lake.

Stayed here for about 5 days. Very nice park & very clean. Asphalt roads, and concrete to park camper on. But it's way too expensive for our tastes. It was the only place we could get reservations, as not only were we there over the 4th of July, but the Cherry Festival was going on also. The only reason I gave it a 7 is because of the price, but we were paying for the amenities we didn't use...pool, etc. This is mainly a place where you buy a campsite (ours was for sale at $35,000.00). Would I stay there again? No, but only because of the rates. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a lot to do in Traverse City, we our spent the days sight seeing. By the time we got back to our coach, we were too tired to go to the pool & hot tub.

We stayed the month and received the monthly discount (I hope). Site was clean, grassy & mowed frequently. Had at least 1 or 2 events each week and open to all. People were friendly especially the office staff. Didn't use their wi-fi but our Verizon worked well. Cable was good. Only problem were the frequent power outages when it got hotter. They didn't last very long, just an inconvenience. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A beautiful resort and very friendly staff. This sites are very pretty and have all of the amenities. There is a fitness room, which we did not use, and it was quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again and will in the fall. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is immaculate. Pool is small but very nice. Shower facilities are among the nicest we've encountered. Internet and cable were both good, although its a little bit of a pain using their provider launch page that made connecting slow for Internet access. This is a luxury RV resort so its a little stuffy, but everyone was very nice and accommodating. We would stay again. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Paved sites, grassy yards, beautiful landscaping, nice clean showers and laundry, good WIFI (except for Labor Day weekend), good cable. Many sites are privately owned, several for sale. Most of the folks were very friendly. Hot tub was wonderful. Very nice place. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I think for that price you should have internet and cable. We were told that Internet was free, but we could never sign on. We were offered a cable box to connect to the TV if you wanted cable; however, we could not get to the back of our TV without removing it. The park is clean We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely park. Too far from Traverse City to bike, so had to drive and park to enjoy the area bike trails. Nice place, nice people. Pretty pricey, but certainly very comfortable place to be. Would probably stay here again. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a beautifully landscaped park with very nice concrete, level pads. The people working here are first rate and we met some very nice folks during our summer stay. Excellent fitness facility and amenities. The only real negative at this park is the well water quality. While we are aware that this area is famous for high iron content, this water also had hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg)smell. Be prepared to either buy water, or double carbon filter the water lines. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Awesome adult oriented park. Beautiful setting and very peaceful. A lot of activities provided for everyone staying in the park. Close to so many things going on in the area. My favorite RV resort. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our second time at this resort. Although a little pricey, it is very clean, friendly and well managed. Separation into two "Class A" areas and one "Class C, 5th Wheel and Trailer" areas seems a little snobbish, especially since the non Class A area seemed the most active! Nice pool and spa, although the pool is a little on the small side. Trash containers to dispose of dog poo would be a VERY good addition! (I took off one star because of this!). We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
