We stayed here a month at a cost of $500. Great site with partial shade. North side of the campground didn't have Sprint reception but south part did. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Well groomed park and friendly town. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

Check out the museums [war history, 4000 nutcrackers @ historical center, art museum] and restaurants (Sterling's & Bluestem) in Luverne 14 miles away. Visit bars in downtown Adrian. Sioux Falls and Okoboji are less than an hour away.

Right off the freeway, but not noisy. The park is a large circle with one section for seasonal stays. Our full hookup site was 50 amp. There were a couple washers and dryers in the office. Small mom and pop grocery nearby. Great overnight stop. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very convenient stop along I-90. Not shown on the map, depending on which sites are in use you can use some of the outer ring spots as a pull-through into the inner ring, which we were allowed to do so that we didn't have to disconnect for a quick overnight. Roads are gravel, sites are grass only and include a picnic table and fire ring. There is a creek that rings the campground which may have been to blame for the musty/barnyard smell in the morning. Grass needed mowing but there was no trash and occupied sites were kept neat. There is a camp host on site although we didn't speak to them. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park for an overnight stay. Close to the highway and yes a bit of highway noise at night but not bad. Grounds are fairly clean but could use some attention. The bathrooms were fairly clean and some of the showers were needing repair. Still lots of hot water and a good shower in one of the nicer stalls. Sites were fairly level and lots of room between sites. A good one night stop momdoc. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in R-6. R-1 thru 6, on the outside circle had 50 amp, sewer and water. These spaces backed up to the city frisbee golf area. Very clean and well maintained. On Saturday night a free movie was shown in that area. Pool is within easy walk and free to campers. We stayed 3 days. Definitely would stay here again. We drove to Luverne, about 12 miles, ate at the Pizza Ranch. Fun and good food! 2 service stations as you enter park. Easily fit our 43' motor home.

Great park. I can't remember if I received a PA discount or not. As previously mentioned, this is a circular park, as such that the sites are pie shaped, making the opening to the drive a bit narrow. Campers on each side were locals, who spent summer weekends in the park. If all our trucks parked just right, getting in and out was a minor issue. Municipal swimming pool was a block away and an excellent way to spend a 90 degree evening. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the CG. This place was a great value! Easy access to I90. Two playgrounds and pool access was great for our kids. Only two showers in the bath house that we used but they were spacious and clean. It was easy to back in to our site and it was great to be able to stay hooked up to the truck. Perfect for an overnight on the road. We camped in a 34ft travel trailer. We pulled into the park on Sunday at 6:30pm with no reservation. We had tried calling but didn't get an answer. We were concerned if we could get a spot. As we arrived at the office, the Camphost came over to greet us. The park is wooded area with gravel roads. It is laid out in 2 circles with the bath house in the center. We had water, electric and cable. The site was $22 with $2 for cable. The sites are all back-ins on grass with the connections at the back of each site. They are laid out where 2 trailers would back up to each other and share hookups. The park was only a third full. There was a little road noise from the trucks on the hwy but not bad. Electric and cable was good. Verizon was at 3g and good signal. We only stayed 1 night. We would return. I can see where the park would be crowded if full with vehicles parked in front of their sites. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was extremely crowded despite there being many empty sites. The sites were so close together that unless your neighbor left before you needed to pullout you might have needed them to move vehicles or their camper to exit your site. Poor planning on the office's part. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly hosts. Level grass area to park. Lots of space between spaces. Would stay again. WiFi OK if you have external antenna. Walk to center building where their antenna is, connect, then you can walk back to your space. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

CATV ($2 included in the $26) had more than 50 channels. We were situated at site 41, a good distance from the office Wi-Fi access point, but it worked well. As mentioned, you are within sight of I-90 but the freeway noise wasn't really noticeable. After exiting I-90 at the Adrian exit, continue past the Kum & Go Gas/C Store, look to your right for Franklin. Turn right, follow the signs. I've paid twice as much for less. Adrian, MN should be proud of their campground. We enjoyed our brief stay and would definitely return if in the area. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed two nights at this campground. The hostess gave us two sites at the cost of one so that we could pull in with our tow vehicle. As reported by others, the sewer connection was quite a distance away from the electric, but we had a long enough hose. Hostess first let us walk over and pick the best site for our rig. The original site she suggested had sewer and electric on opposite sides of the RV, so we asked for 10/44, which had services on both sides. Wi-Fi worked very well for us. The park wasn't busy, so it was a treat to have lots of quiet and a great area to walk our 3 dogs. We would stay there again. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a great city park right off a major highway, I-90. We stayed just for an overnight. The camp hosts were very nice folks and quite accommodating. The sites are grass, but spacious pull thru with nice tables an fire rings. Lots of mature shade, as well. Different rates for differing services such as 50 amp, cable, sewer. Very much a bargain rate regardless of what you choose. Definitely recommend as an overnight stay or for camping in general. The only reason for not giving a higher rating is due to the grass sites. Hard packed gravel roads are fine, but the grass could be an issue given enough rain. Very easy maneuvering for big rigs. We had a 40' with a toad and they both fit in our pull through with room to spare. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

We were curious about this park after seeing some of favorable reviews on this site. We stayed here one weeknight after Labor Day. We had a FHU, pull-through site. It did not have cable but did have WIFI that worked OK. The site was not level. From what I could decipher from looking at the park map handout, all sites have W&E, about 35 have sewer, 45 have cable, 30 are 50 Amp. Some sites are RT and some are back-to-back with the hookups at the rear of the sites. Figuring out which sites have what is confusing. I changed the total number of sites listed above to 110 because that is how many I counted on the map. The map also indicates an area for tenting. Many of the 30 or so customers in the park the night we were there appeared to be extended stay with maybe 5 customers checking in the day we did. The sites are grass and it seems that they were never graded and are therefore not very level. That along with the confusing array of site facility combinations lowers the park's rating. Being part of the town's municipal park, recreational facilities (playground equipment, and several baseball fields, basketball and volleyball courts, and a large swimming pool complex, etc.) are nearby. The bathroom and shower facilities are old and inadequate for a park this size that has over 50 sites without sewers. The laundry is 4 machines in the office. We camped at Adrian Municipal Park in a Motorhome.
