This county-owned park is neat and clean to a fault. An employee politely knocked on our door when a guest parked on the grass. The two large pull-thrus (56 & 57) are isolated from the other sites. There is some aircraft noise, not bad in a motorhome. Recycling is extreme: campers are issued color-coded bags for trash, recycles and a separate one for composting. Wi-Fi was solid. There is a super grocery store - HyVee - a couple miles south. Minneapolis is to the north and an easy drive. Bicycle rides around the Minneapolis city lakes revealed fabulous houses. Restaurants and bicycle rentals are available at the lakes. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Dinner at Surly Brewery, a microbrewery with an extensive menu, was good. At Luna Rossa in St. Paul, take the tour of an artificial cave with an interesting history and stops for wine tastings, and have dinner at the (non-cave) restaurant. Mississippi river cruises are available. Fort Snelling is worth a half day.

Advance reservations are required and can be easily made on-line, however the friendly park staff made a site available to us the day prior to our reservation. The sites at the front of the campground are closely spaced with little shade but more spacious sites are available in a wooded area on the north loop. Water spigots are available along the gravel road in front of loop. WiFi access is available near the Camp Office only. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Nice enough park, would not consider it a campground. Sites pretty close together. Crazy narrow, winding entrance way. Hope you do not meet another vehicle. Wifi worked pretty well. Water bib at front of site, may require extra hose. Sites fairly level. In a nice area of town but setting inside park seems more rural. A lot of stations over the air, Verizon worked well. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Really enjoyed the site due to the semi-seclusion. Was quiet and had lakes to swim, kayak and hiking. Mountain biking is very near campground. Would definitely camp here again. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We are staying the last few days of this season. They are closing early (Oct 4) to do some major maintenance. Usual closing is Mid October. Sites are level enough to use without jacks or planks. One wonders why the water was set at the corner of the street. Bring plenty of hose. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice county park that we found to be very quiet, even when full. We were in a full service site, but unlike so many other parks, the sites were very well spaced with grass in between the gravel sites. Our site was level and all services worked well. There are some trails that run from the campground and other trails elsewhere in this big park. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Wonderful campground. Spacious sites. Good power and water. Courteous staff and campers. Well maintained. Quiet. Wonderful parks in walking distance. One mile from the zoo.

The entrance off Johnny Cake Ridge Road is narrow and windy. It would be a hazard if two big rigs passed each other. Be careful.

The shower/laundry are actually on the public street. Strangers could walk right in.

No good place to hook up or disconnect. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Echo recent reviews..great campground. Nice, helpful camphosts, grounds well maintained with good areas for the dogs. Very convenient for visiting downtown Minneapolis yet removed from the city congestion. Good shopping nearby and great golf at Valleywood Golf Course. I was concerned about the entry road and our 42' rig but we never encountered another rig entering or leaving. It would be tricky but not impossible to work out if it happened. We are returning there again for a weekend. You definitely should have reservations for weekends, it gets busy. Our first visit to this area and the city is marvelous! This is a very well maintained park. The sites are spacious with some shade. This park is in the metro Minneapolis area, but it is surrounded by trees and their motto is "forever wild", so you cannot tell you are in a city at all. Great WIFI connection. We stayed here 5 nights. Management is very good at making sure all rules are followed by everyone. One day we had a Senator stop by our site, to ask us questions about the park (some funding being requested). He had parked on the side of the road. One of the managers came by and told him he needed to move his car to the overflow area! We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

In the woods! Quiet RV park with full hook-ups. Gravel sites with a picnic table and a fire pit in a large grassy area. There are only 5 pull-thru sites, so reserve early. The rest are back-in sites. No wi-fi, pool or cable. Close enought to Mpls/St Paul so your antenna will pick up local TV. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate plus $8 reservation fee. As said in earlier reviews the entrance road is pretty narrow, uphill and twisty, not impossible but close if someone is coming the opposite direction. With most big rigs it takes both lanes to enter or exit without driving in the landscaping. Roads are paved and sites are gravel, some nearly level others not. Fire rings and picnic tables, no carpets on the grass. Water is a reach from the front of the site, sewer has two drop points, power is at the back of the site. Some sites are close together, others have plenty of elbow room, most are back-in. The CG is part of a huge REGIONAL park system, lots of stuff to do and trails to hike and bicycle. Laundry holds 2 washers and 4 dryers, wash $1.50 and $2 (large machine), dry 25 cents per ten minutes. Host was friendly, courteous and informative. We would return when in the area. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Details of previous reviews are accurate, except, the entrance/exit driveway is impossible if two big rigs tried to pass...way too narrow and curvey. Difficult when two cars pass each other. It definitely needs to be widened. Also, sign on road is now covered by bushes so beware because it's an easy to miss entrance. Once inside the park, for that is what it is, a well manicured and maintained park, road signs are well defined, sites are level, albeit close, and campfires set right under neighbor's RV windows. If you have allergies to smoke, beware, everyone has campfires. This campground is very popular so need advance reservations. The section with FHUs is close and open, another section is very rural and rustic. Something for everyone. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice place to stay when visiting the twin cities. This is a regional park in the center of a major suburb. Thus, the park is secluded yet it is convenient to about any type of store you may need just a couple of miles away. Very quiet with lots of paved trails. Sites were plenty long and sufficient for slides and awning but a little close to adjacent sites. Some trees around but was able to find a satellite opening. All hookups worked fine. Water hookup is at front of site and required my extra hose to reach. There are two sewer hookups so shouldn't be a problem for anyone's normal connection. Point was made by the office that mats were not allowed to protect grass. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A nice place to spend a few days while visiting the Twin Cities area.

Located in a quiet area adjacent to a major street, but late in the evening the noise was negligible.

Sites are grassy and large, but those out in the open suffer from the high heat during the summer.

"Wifi" available in only one "loop" which is close to the office.

There is no pool, but there are a couple of playgrounds for children. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
