10 RV Parks near Becker, Minnesota
Sep 2012 - $30.00
Very clean and well maintained. A lot of rules that are enforced. No access to trails or other activities. No pool. Won't stay here again. - MarkandLaura
Aug 2011 - $35.00
This is a very peaceful location. The owners are great. We were driving through Minnesota and needed a place for the night. They were very accommodating and the site was great. It is a campground with many retired campers and they really do not have kids at the campground. It was so relaxing and clean that we may make a trip back just to relax sometime. We really appreciated the hospitality - Cudpal
Jun 2008 - $35.00
RiversEdge RV Park is a quiet seasonal RV campground in Becker MN. With many large wooded lots located on the Elk River near St. Cloud and the Twin Cites. Me and my family enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. - RiversEdge
Jul 2017 - $35.00
Stayed for 4 days. found the office with no problem just followed the signs. It's hidden in the back of the trailer park. Owner was very friendly, visited with him for about 20 minutes before we went to my site. Lots of trees and shade. He gave the choice of 3 spots to park in the place was almost full. He took me there then helped guide me in. Will be going back again. - Imawolf
Jul 2017 - $39.00
Appears to be lots of seasonals/long term residents, understandable due to proximity to the river and the town of Monticello that appears to have any service you would need. This park was not exactly our cup of tea, but okay for overnight. - Katy29
Jun 2017 - $35.00
Hard to find the office, it is actually a private house. We come in and wait at the door. She yells come on in. No office, man sitting at table eating an ice cream sandwich starts filling out our form. We felt ill at ease being in a private house, the Christmas tree was on a table still and man was not at all friendly. Not friendly.
We asked for a pull thru because the web site advertised them. They have 3 only and they are used by seasonal (installed wooden decks, lighting, flower pots), we did not have a choice but to unhook. - Nicoray
Sep 2016 - $21.00
We stayed in the overflow along a golf course with water and electric. It was very green everywhere, but a nearby railroad had many loud trains and train whistles, especially while we were attempting to sleep. This is an Airstream only park, though we saw a motorhome of a different brand also. it was a busy weekend and the overflow was on grass and quite level, so we were glad to find it. I don't know what they have with full hookups since most of it seems to be sites owned by Airstream owners. Overall it met our needs for the night except for the trains. - AirstreamGene
Aug 2016 - $22.00
An overnight stop. All utilities used and all worked well. - Sewmom
Aug 2016 - $40.00
Level gravel site. Just long enough for our MH and trailer. A tree between sites provided some shade. We needed to use our sewer line extension as the hook-up was at the very end of the site. Cost for washer/dryers was high ($1.75) but machines were clean and in good working order. Laundry room itself was clean and decorated. We stayed 3 nights and our one criticism would be the dog walk area. They have a perfect area for a fenced park but no real area exists now. - Boomerific
Jul 2016 - $44.00
Hard to get a campground in this area. Weekends impossible!
The mgr said, well it's a short season and the locals camp every chance.
So this appears to have been a KOA and barely maintained. Sites have not been leveled for awhile. Hookups are far from middle, so my 35' electric cord was enough.
Locals let their kids run wild at night until we yelled at them to go to their site.
Got up this morning and someone let their big dog poop at the front of our site and not clean up.
Will not see us again! But when you are sold out, do you think they care? - Sir_Charles395
Jul 2017 - $42.00
Stayed here a few weeks ago. It started off with an awful smell in the office upon checking in. Things did not get much better. The place is very run down. It is overloaded with seasonals that are run down, and there is junk everywhere. They need to cut back the branches of most trees to prevent trees scratching your camper. Site was level. People party all night here. We will not be back. - jejmjj5
Jan 2013 - $38.00
What is with all the terrible reviews? It also appears many of the reviews are for another campground in the area because AJ Acres doesn't even have a pool. I wouldn't believe what you are reading on here because it seems many of the reviews are not for this campground but rather a different campground in Clearwater. For some clarification, YES this campground has dirt roads, when it is dry they can be dusty and when it rains they can be a bit muddy, but you are camping-if you want tar and concrete camp in your backyard. No pool but a large beach. It is camping you will encounter dirt and bugs. You don't want it get a hotel. This is a great place to camp but be prepared to CAMP!!! They have amenities so it isn't like you are roughing it. Water, electric, fully stocked store, beach, bait, fishing pier, shower houses, swing sets, etc. Not first class like a resort but great for a family weekend out of the city to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. We camped here several times a year and keep coming back. - campit
Aug 2011 - $39.00
We decided not to stay here once we had a conversation with the lady at the front desk. We stopped in at about 8PM just looking for a place to park and sleep and be on our way by 8AM the next morning. The individual was very rude and really didn't want us to stay. It was if it was to much work and when she gave me the price for 7 people she had the nerve to say you might as well stay at a hotel because it will be cheaper. From the outside things looked nice but if that is how people in Minnesota treat people passing through, - Cudpal
Jun 2017 - $30.00
Not bad for a quick getaway.....It did appear that many if not most people at the campgrounds were year round residents, some VERY sketchy looking sites. Overall, it suited our needs. - Matt Klein
Oct 2015 - $30.00
We found this place on our GPS and needed a place to stop for one night. The office is an old travel trailer outside, what was, the camp office. We found out that the owners couldn't get permits renewed for some unknown reason so the office and associated amenities was mothballed. It looks like this park was really nice at one time but not now. It is really run down with mostly permanent residents. Our site was right in front with 30 amp and no sewer. It was OK to plug in for the night but not much else. It looks like the 30 amp was protected by fuses, not breakers in the pedestal. We didn't look around much and if this park has restrooms and showers, they were probably disgusting. If you are looking for a safe place to hook for one night and plan to stay in your rig, this would be an OK park, otherwise for the price, there are better places to stay. We were told there was a dump station but we didn't need it. Our site was right in front of the office and the free WiFi was decent with one bar. - sprinter55
Jul 2010 - $32.00
Old, poorly maintained park. Roads are dirt as are the spaces. Many longterm residents and many motorcycles and 4 wheelers. Some grass but thin. Too much bird crap everywhere to enjoy being outside. Peafowl and guineas everywhere and they are really noisy especially when about 10 of them gather under you rig and start their screeching at 6 am. WiFi is non-existent. Manager said it was working in her mother-in-law's house but I stood under the antenna and had zero signal. This was true for the 2 days we were in the park. - PDDeen
Jul 2017 - $30.00
What a find! Speak we arrived in this county park for just a one night stay and wish we had known how unique it was to plan at least a week. The campers were very much campers and were enjoying the out-of-doors at the family atmosphere here. A mixture of tense and RVs and very happy families. The sides could easily hold big rigs and were spacious. They included electric hook up for an additional charge and 10 sites had water all have picnic tablesand fire rings. Because the park is small it makes heading to the beach easy. If you have a boat there is a boat launch on site. With so many people out on the water fishing, tubing, and waterskiing. Many locals come this way so reservations would be needed in advance especially for weekend stays. We would certainly return here if the opportunity arises. We highly recommend this location for families, seniors, and anybody wants a little bit of tranquility. There is a dump station on site as there are no sewer connections at the campsite. - John-Jean
May 2013 - $31.00
Vary nice park. Nice clean lake. Good fishing. Very friendly owners. Very polite and helpful. Recommend to anyone go to Schroeders park. Can't wait to go back. - Bryant Paul Doege
Jun 2012 - $15.00
Very nice, family friendly campground. The prices is right. Lots of shade and there are several sights with paved pads and lots of grass, not all are this way but some are. Pet friendly. Very clean restrooms and showers. Nice large beach great for swimming. Nice playground. Easy boat docking area and large dock for fishing. Nice fishing lake. Would recommend. - babytygger
Sep 2016 - $25.00
This would be a decent $12 park.
The park has a nice playground and riverside - which is open to the public/city.
The sites are 90 degree turns with a pretty narrow asphalt road. The road has sunken near the restroom (septic system?) They had dumped a bunch of big river rock to compensate.
We had a 40 rig and arrived at night, and in the rain. There was a lot of standing water. I was worried that we were going to get stuck if we had to drive in the grass. I found one site that had an angle to it, but we had to drive over the sunken part of the road. My husband said "I'll just gun it!" and we made it.
Sites are electric only with posts with 20 and 30 amp stuck every-other site. Presumably shared?
There was a dropbox with self-registration. $25 a night. Price increases after 14 days. I never saw a ranger.
There was a water spigot in the center of campground. A pick up truck came and filled 2- 55 gallon drums.
NO DUMP STATION!
Bathroom was a running water toilet and sink only, no showers. Dusty, low quality. - mmette00
Sep 2010 - $20.00
A place to stop. Fairly private. Not very handy for bigger rigs, our 30 ft 5ver used every bit of the roads and needed grass to finish the turns. Some trees need pruning. - stetwood
Sep 2017 - $38.00
This is a good size park with about 99 sites. We were able to get in on a Friday night - They were full but the nice owners put us in a site away from the main part of the park. We did have electric and water but no sewer at this site. It was on grass and not clearly delineated as to the boundaries of our site but that was not a problem. The wifi was quite good and free. We had good Verizon phone and 4G LTE signals. The restrooms were just OK - I don't think I would shower there. There are a lot of long term residents there and it appears to be very popular on the weekends for families. The long term resident sites were well kept for the most part. The over the air tv signal was very good (close to St. Cloud) but we also had a lot of room to set up our satellite for Direct TV and that was good as well. The road in to this area was quite narrow - I felt in peril of hitting some large trees. The gentleman who led us to our site took us in a direction that made was quite close to those trees - he could have led us in a different way that would not have been so bad. For our exit we had to go around the park because they have a sign placed in a very bad place to make the right turn to go out. We were in site 91. It was actually nice to be away from the rest of the park as it was nice and quiet and no smoky fires by us. We just stayed one night but would stay here again if in the area - and we would request one of these sites away from the crowd. It is very close to gas and grocery too. - NiMo
Sep 2017 - $40.00
Camped here with a large group. We had reserved a block of sites together many months in advance, but when we arrived they had moved us around and given away some of our sites. The Rally Center building is very nice and handy to use for group meals and gatherings, especially if it's raining. The restrooms in the Rally Center were very clean, but the light in them is very dim. The sites came with full hook ups and a pull through gravel pad, but they aren't very wide sites. The picnic tables are tiny. Each site has a sunken, small fire pit oddly located just a couple feet from the road, posing a hazard for anyone walking between sites, especially in the dark. There was a nice, large, fire pit in a large open area across from our group's sites that we were able to use. There is a pool but it is closed this late in the year. Aside from a couple of minor nuisances, all in all a pretty decent camp ground. - Juniper94
Aug 2017 - $40.00
50 amp, FHU, pull-through site. Very nice, well maintained park. Many OTA TV signals available, WIFI sporadic at times. Escort to site. Although this is a nice place it is somewhat pricey for an overnight at $42 including taxes and with a discount at that. I doubt we would return if a less expensive option were available in the area. - Bob & Stephanie
Aug 2017 - $41.00
We came to area to visit grandkids for three weeks. There are very limited options since it is near the twin cities. The park is old with shared water and electric pedestals. Our water and electric were right by the door with sewer on the other side. Sites are decent sized. Roads are gravel. Pool is small and worn. There is a small dog park, a mini putt and a playground. The pros are location, location, location. It's located on a highway although road notice isn't bad. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful and even though it's an old park, it's very clean. Short drive to Minneapolis, St Paul, etc. So while it seems overpriced, it's a nice enough campground. - wendie T
Jul 2017 - $44.00
Nice KOA not our normal kind of place but was pleasantly surprised. Very clean and super friendly staff. They have a little dog run that was a nice addition. The hwy was close but the noise really wasn't an issue. - Back to the basics
Jun 2017 - $50.00
Sites are close together and mostly shaded. Campground is clean and well maintained although slightly showing it's age. Staff is very good and courteous. The location is the best part of this CG, otherwise it wouldn't be worth more than $30 a night. - Walt Bennett
