Nice quiet, clean park, wooded, mostly level sites. Clean restrooms and showers, very consistent and reasonably fast wifi. Pull-throughs are long and roomy, and plenty of room in back-ins as well. Mosquito control was evident, staff was very helpful and friendly. There is no cable TV but we were able to get 8-10 local channels over the air with our antenna. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My rate reflects a monthly rate. The majority of the sites have trees blocking the southern sky which precludes using a satellite dish in many cases, however a few sites do allow a signal to be received. The Park is close to the highway but vehicle noise was not much of an issue . Many of campers who had pets allowed their dogs to run at large and we observed most of them did not clean up after them. The sites are packed sand with many on a slight slope so are not level, electric was OK as were sewer hookups. I have water filters and had to change them frequently because they filled up with rusty looking material. Check in was quick and service by the owner was excellent as was the park wi-fi during the period of time we were there. There was adequate spacing for most of the sites and park is well maintained and even serious mosquito control is utilized by the owner. There are several long pull-throughs and swing room to access and leave a site was generally adequate. We would stay again. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 2 nites prior to starting a caravan. Location is easy to get into. I had a pull thru spot. Sort of level, but I could not get the coach to level via my air bags. It took all of my 25' water hose to connect, most of my 35' elect to connect and 25' of sewer hose to connect. Others did not have that distance, but space #4 did. There are a few full timers, but their spaces were clean and not cluttered. My pull thru spot would allow the vehicle to remain hooked up. Next year they will require a deposit for a cable box for TV. For me, too many trees for my Sat on the roof. I would stay here again. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent family-owned campground. The woman managing the park is very helpful, friendly, and very competent. She makes you aware of the park rules, and isn't afraid to let you know nicely if you don't follow one. The sites are level, gravel, with grass between the sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. It is mostly an adult campground, but there is a small playground for the children, and no pool. Depending on the site, satellite is sketchy, but they have good cable; the WiFi is one of the best we have encountered in a park, fast and easy to access. We stayed here in a 39 foot fifth wheel and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

a good place to use as a base to see Itasca State Park, woolen mill downtown Bemiji, and other local attractions. A nice place for breakfast in town was the Minnesota Nice Café. Right next door to the woolen mill.

Reasonably quiet park, gravel roadways and sites, some highway and railroad noise. Website states weekly rate $179 on home page and charged $200 for 50 amp site. Scrolling all the way to the bottom of another page (rates) reveals a $3 upcharge for 50 amp service. Strikes me as a little deceitful. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ask for 30 amp specifically - no need for 50 amp with the temperatures in Bemidji.

Very nice rustic campground just off Route 2. Back in site was level with full hookups within a short connection distance. The park is tree covered so satellite would be a challenge, but they have an excellent cable system with over 100 analog and digital channels. WIFI was useless all 3 connection channels were so weak that none of our computers would connect, and they kept fading in and out. If your near the front you will hear some road noise from Rt. 2 but it dies out at night. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean and well maintained park. Owner lives onsite so park is very quiet and family friendly. Nice shady spots on gravel. Wifi and cable were included in our rate. Very clean restrooms and laundry room, fire pit and picnic table at each spot. They are very dog friendly and there is lots of room for dog walking, nice trail through the woods and a short walk to a nice field. There are a few spots in the back of the park that are pretty tight, would recommend making sure they know size and how many slides you have when making reservation. This park has a lot of back-in sites, but only a few pull-thrus. We asked for and got a pull-thru, but it was less than ideal. The pull-thru sites are narrow and crowded, and the utilities are set up in a very strange way. Sewer was at the back of the site and water/power at the front, and we could not reach both at the same time. We wound up running our power cable to the site next door to get our power there. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is handy to Bemidji. Good WiFi, good cable TV. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If you are using 30 amps the place isn't too bad. For bigger rigs with 50 amp you're put in a tight row that feels like a trailer park with long term rvs. I have to say they were real nice about returning your money once we decided not to stay. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice campground right off US-2. Surprisingly there was little road noise at night. The interior roads and sites were on packed gravel. All sites had FHU, about a 1/3 of them were pull-thrus. Many of the sites were long enough to accommodate a large rig with a tow. Most of the sites had the utilities located way in the back. Depending upon the site, you might need a very long water hose. Some sites had multiple sewer connections. The bathroom and showers were clean but a little dated. We chose not to use them. Verizon air card and cell phone worked well within the campgrounds. The Paul Bunyan bike trail is close by. We would return to this campground if we were in the area. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very welcoming check-in. We always ask for closest to toilets and showers. There were closer ones left unoccupied. Convenient to Bemidji and Paul Bunyan bike trail. Love the radio music in bathrooms. Shower was like needles--needs better shower heads, but appreciated the strength.. Nice campground setting. Very quiet. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our rate is based on monthly plus electric. It is a great place to stay and kept really clean by the owner and her sister. They do all the cleaning, mowing, and anything else that a campground requires. The Wi-Fi is only good near the office area but it is very fast in that area. Lots of green grass and trees if you want to sit outside and enjoy them. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again if through this area We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
