4 RV Parks near Blackduck, Minnesota
Jul 2013 - $32.00
This is a large campground resort with many seasonal sites and 9 cabins. It is located on a chain of lakes which offer excellent fishing. Interior roads are dirt but are well maintained. The beach area is well maintained and is great for swimming. They have water toys available for use and a variety of boats, and pontoons that can be rented and bait and gas for sale. RV's park on grass and each site has a picnic table and campfire ring. Some sites offer full hookup and some only water and electric. Sites are fairly spacious, and you can put your RV anywhere on the site which helps one find a level spot. The owners are very friendly and willing to help. Verizon 3G cell coverage was passable, but the data speed seemed to flag much of the day. WiFi is available in the Lodge and elsewhere for a fee. The campground is located on a very quiet road, so noise was not an issue. This rate was for a water/electric site. We would stay here again. - StillBill

We had an unfortunate experience here. This park is set up to sell lots. And the Lot owners seem to take pride in their property. However we made reservations for a 5 day stay in our 37 foot motor home. The lots available for reservations were not sufficiently level to safely set up our rig. For the price we expected to at least be able to get level. After several tries we went back to the office to let them know. Long story short we were charged $100 and left. An expensive mistake, but worth it to move to a park where we safely parked. - Mama Cooks

Had a great time at Summer Haven. Nice big grassy sites. Ours was just yards from the lake. The beach had free paddle boats and fun swimming for the kids. Pool was a little small but it did the job for the 2 hot days we were there. Owners were fantastic and they hosted a family bingo and ice cream social while we stayed. Beware of the map quest or GPS directions, they both will send you to the wrong side of the lake. Other then that it was a fantastic place. We will go back. - bunny102

Campground on a lake 10 miles from Bemidji. Dirt roads and grass sites with grass between. Not so long pull thru and back in sites with trees on east and west side of each site and open sky to south for Sat signal. All sites FHU. Wifi at most sites. Charge $3 per day for air conditioning and $4 day for Cable TV. Utilities in middle of site so measure distance for your electric cord before setting up. Direct access to lake for swimming and boating. Staff friendly and helpful. Sites close but OK for travelers and big rigs. Would stay there again. Cash only for Passport discount. - Pepper Dan
Jun 2017 - $27.00
Park is nice right next to a chain of lakes. Owners are also very nice. The site was level with a good view of the lake but pretty tight. The weekend was busy and I had to move my truck so a 5th wheel could pull into the site next to me. The site was a pull in, back out. I'd never seen that before. - PhredFromIL

If you are travelling through this area, or staying for some time, this is a must stop campground. The lake is beautiful and the park is extremely clean. Defiantly worth the short drive north of US 2. - dalehoch

Sites are very wooded but close together. Nice washrooms and showers. Wifi available which is a plus at a State park. Lots of walking trails near the beautiful lake. - Paige Taylor
Sep 2016 - $30.00
The park is beautiful though the lake is not visible from the campground. However, it is close to walk to the beach and there are many wonderful trails including a paved bike trail. Park has bikes available to rent and staff is friendly. That being said, the park is not big rig friendly so I can't rate the park higher. It was difficult maneuvering our 38 ft motorhome on the roads. Lots of overhanging vegetation. Our site (#78) was a pull through. We were directed to come from the parking lot which was easy. However, there was no way we could pull through to leave. Besides the bushes, the turn was tight to get out. We ended up backing into the parking lot. The dump station also required a tight turn but we did it, only to find the sewer was on the wrong side for our rig. Had to pull through and the turn back around to use it. Sorry to say, we would not go back. - carol5249

We stayed here one night.
No RV sites are adjacent to the lake.
Our site was easily accessed, but has a steep slope to the table and fire ring.
Our site had 30 amp electric. No other utilities.
Water and dump station had good access.
There were a few broadcast TV stations. - R V Camper
