This is a nice quiet city park located just on the outskirts of Brainerd. The road into the city park is on asphalt and the sites and interior road of this campground is on packed dirt and gravel. Some of the sites have the utilities located at the back while others were closer to the front. All sites had 20/30/50 amp service along with water. The dump station was located within the park – not within the campground. The electrical voltage was a little weak, hovering around 119. All of the sites had a picnic table and a fire ring. A few of the sites were pull-throughs and most of the sites could handle a large rig. The bathroom and the one shower (per gender) were located within the city park. The bathrooms were very old, functional but not very appealing. We chose not to use them. The campground had Wi-Fi but was very weak. Verizon air card was a little slow. Verizon cell phone worked well. There was very little road noise at night. This is a well used city park. The camp host and the Parks and Recreation office are located near the dump station. We would return to this park if we were in the area. We camped at this campground with a 32 foot rig. We camped at Lum Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This pleasant city park is located on Rice Lake which is part of the upper Mississippi River. The sites on the single loop provide both 50-amp power and water hookups. Cable TV is available. The Wi-Fi connection indicated no owner identification, but I assume that it belonged to the park. There is little shade at the sites. While there are a number of newly planted trees, it’s going to be quite a few years before they provide any shelter from the sun. Since I visited in the early fall, I dealt with the very pleasant staff at park department’s office. During the camping season a host is resident in the campground. We camped at Lum Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Clean quiet friendly. No showers and the restrooms are marginal but it is a nice setting on a pretty lake. We camped at Lum Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice smaller park located in a waterfront park. Park is clean and attractive and sites are large but with no foliage separating them. Well worth the nightly cost and we would return. We camped at Lum Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice city campground in city park overlooking Rice Lake. Nice lake view, swimming beach, fishing pier, boat ramp, disc golf, picnic tables. Just off Hwy. 210 on the east side of Brainerd. Roomy sites, mostly back in nearly all are suitible for big rigs. Senior citizen discount. Friendly campground host, self checkin when host is gone. We camped at Lum Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
