Nice campground with friendly staff. Easy access for big rigs. Park has 2 pull-through sites in the non-electric loop. 50 amp sites are available. Dump station has very easy access. Lots of hiking trails. Lots of wildlife viewing. Clean restrooms / showers. We camped at Wild River State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice state park. Lots of room between campsites. This park can accommodate large rigs but as mentioned you need to take care from low hanging branches. Staff is friendly. One of our favorite state parks. We camped at Wild River State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Large state park with 5 campground loops. Two loops have electric hook ups. Some campsites can accommodate large rigs, but care needs to be taken for low hanging tree branches. Restroom buildings were clean. Lots of hiking trails. Dump station and water fill have easy access. Lots of wildlife in the park. We camped at Wild River State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is about 15 miles east of North Branch. This is one of the nicest parks we've stayed at that is close to the Twin Cities. The campground is huge, but sites are nicely spaced, large and private. We could barely see our neighbors through the trees. The prairie colors are spectacular and the forest will be colorful in the fall. There are many planned weekend activities, plenty of hiking trails and a horse camp. Bring food and supplies as there is nothing close for groceries. Only a gas station about 4-5 miles from the campground. The check-in office is about 2 miles from the campground, so plan ahead for wood and ice. Bathrooms were always clean. We decided we will return here several times per year. We camped at Wild River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was one of the biggest state parks that we have been to. The sites are big, the park is big, and overall it is just a wonderful park. We stayed in a site with electricity and it was nice and level. Most of the sites are very big and they are long. It is in a sandy area, so there is sand around. The roads into the park are all paved. The campsites are at least 2 miles from the main gate to the park. It puts you back into wilderness. There is alot of animals in the park. We will be back as this was one of the best. We camped at Wild River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Of the 96 sites, only 17 are equipped with power, making this campground more suitable to
boondockers. The sites are well spaced and private. This huge park is heavily wooded and contains 35 miles of hiking & horseback trails. The park stretches 18 miles along the St Croix river. Rangers patrol the park but are unobtrusive. In addition to the nightly rate there is also an entrance fee, the cost of which varies depending on what period of time you want to cover. We camped at Wild River State Park in a Travel Trailer.
