This was a surprise, and we were confused as to why it wasn't packed. It is situated at the edge of Ely, and there were walking paths into town. The park itself appears a bit desolate. It is flat, and needed mowing. However, there was green space around the park. The bathhouse and clubhouse were newly remodelled and beautiful. It had FULL hook up and was easily long enough for our 40' rig and tow vehicle. It was quiet and convenient to town. Perhaps they can spend a bit more time making the sites reflect the buildings in terms of quality. It is a four-season park. It is gated, and if the camp host had not happened to be there when we arrived at 5pm, we couldn't have gotten in. I called the first number on the door to get the code. No answer. There was no information packet waiting for us. Be sure you have the code before you arrive. We have already reserved to return for an extended stay next summer. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This isn't a resort in the classic sense with a spa and pool, but it's a great rv park to stop and see the area. Its clean, easy to navigate, with friendly and helpful staff. New in 2014 and it shows. Wifi strong and steady. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

A "resort" this is certainly not, by any wild stretch of the imagination. A place to spend a couple of night while passing through or visiting the area, it is OK but expensive for what it is. The rate was not noted on their web site and $37 is expensive for a basic gravel site with only basic amenities. Because of mechanical issues, we found ourselves in need of a last-minute place to stay in Ely, and found this place with one of our apps. We called the number listed, but it went to a recording; three calls over time had the same outcome. Since we were only a few blocks away, we decided to just drive over to find the place less than half full. We went into the office and the lady there said they had sites available for the night. The place looks fairly new but some of the tenants' sites were quite junked up. She gave us a very long list of park rules, very detailed, and some very silly. The sites are gravel and fairly level with good 50 amp service. There is little tree cover, so satellite was not a problem. We had good strong Verizon voice and data. They do have WiFi, but the signal was pretty weak at our site on the end. The campground is a block off of the very busy main street, so fairly quiet at night. We did use the laundry, which was clean, but expensive at $2.50 per washer load. You have to give $20 cash as deposit for the laundry and restroom key card. Check out time is 11:00 with a $20 charge for the first hour over that, then $10 an hour for each additional. We would stay here again for a night, but it is certainly not a destination park. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.
