Just a few miles off I-90 but a world away. On a beautiful lake, beach and boats to rent. We stayed for one night on our way to the Badlands/Black Hills and we liked it so much we also stopped on the way back. They have many seasonal spots which have the lake front, then they have many transient sites which are grouped together. They are full hook-ups, have picnic tables and fire pits and most are pull through. We didn't even have to disconnect the last night. Lots of grass and black top roads. This campground is very clean and well kept. Many employees were around offering firewood, picking up garbage, etc. We seldom rate a 10, but this place had everything we wanted. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park nestled along a lake and with well maintained lawns between sites and many trees throughout the campground. The lush greenness is especially appreciated after driving along the mostly treeless of I-90. Many of the sites are well-maintained seasonal RVs. Despite the trees, we had no problems getting satellite at site 74A. We only stayed for and overnight. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

Wonderful mature park. The service was amazing. You need a car to go anywhere out of the park but there is plenty inside the park to keep you busy. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

What an awesome park. Canoe, kayak, bike, walk or golf cart. There is plenty to do. We went to the camp store to buy butter but there didn't have any so she went to her house and brought us a stick!! We would definitely stay here again.

What a delightful discovery. The park is adjacent to Lake Imogene and is tucked away from traffic noise. The weather was rainy and overcast, but we still enjoyed bird watching, discovering 45 species in the park. The grounds and buildings are beautifully maintained. My only complaint would be directed to the seasonal guests who drove onto the very wet grass, creating deep tracks and a mess for the owners to clean up. I would think they would feel more invested in keeping the grounds in good repair. The owners obviously put a lot of effort into keeping this park so beautiful. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

Well maintained, manicured park on Lake Imogene. I had never seen a blue spruce except on a Christmas tree lot, but they had some gorgeous ones throughout the property. Nice swings to sit near the lake. Seemed like it was mostly seasonal folks, but if we had to the chance to go again, we would. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate at the Bean Town Grill which was about 4 miles away - a little more expensive ($50 for 2) but really good. If you want to check out the most kitschy place in town, head inside the Dairy Queen and you'll get your fill!

We found this place while traveling thru to another destination and were looking for a place to spend the night. We were here on a Thursday and it was quiet and relaxing. The Campground had many permanent campers, but the units were approx. 90% newer units and sites were well kept. The lady that led us to our site was so friendly and pleasant which was welcoming when coming in from a long day on the road. We needed a pull thru site, and although the site wasn't spacious, it was what we expected and it was fine. There is a small beach, miniature golf and playground. We would stay here again if we are thru this way. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They have many things to keep your entire family busy. Kayaks, canoes, bikes, scooters, paved roads are great for rollerblading, nice Play ground, great swimming beach with nice sand, on sight minni store, sitting areas through out, dog friendly swimming area, handycap accessible cabins, friendly neighborhood campers. I'm sure I'm leaving a lot out! A must camp family facility for sure! We will be back! We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is beautiful, full of grass and green trees. The lake is also beautiful with a nice swimming beach. The laundry room leaves a little to be desired as well as the water connected to the motorhome, lots of floaties. Great 4th of July fireworks. We will definitely return. Our site did not have a fire ring where most others did have one, kind of disappointing. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. They have amenities like mini-golf and activities for campers. No pool though. Fairly quiet even when very busy. Lots are spacious and offer some shade. Site surface was gravel and features a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived on a Saturday and this campground was packed with locals. They put us in a pull-through site that I would not recommend to anyone. There was hardly any shade and our neighbors were very close. On Sunday nearly everyone had left, except the people who leave their trailers there full time. I went to the office to see if we could move and it was closed so I left a message. Upon their return, they allowed us to move to any site that was open. The new site was so much nicer and worth the money. They were having issues with their credit card payment system and I paid with a check. We stayed 3 nights. You have to call or email a request because they don't have a reservation system. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is nice but don't rely on your reservation. Reserved a full hookup pull thru and the owner gave it away, moved us to a second site and gave that away as well. After 9 hrs on the road we pull in and get a spot on the overflow gravel lot with 30 amp and water next to the porta potties. Never again, guess you need to stay more than 1 night or be a local. Charged us $35, could have stayed at Walmart. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.
