Well maintained, manicured park on Lake Imogene. I had never seen a blue spruce except on a Christmas tree lot, but they had some gorgeous ones throughout the property. Nice swings to sit near the lake. Seemed like it was mostly seasonal folks, but if we had to the chance to go again, we would. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate at the Bean Town Grill which was about 4 miles away - a little more expensive ($50 for 2) but really good. If you want to check out the most kitschy place in town, head inside the Dairy Queen and you'll get your fill!

Beautiful campground. Meticulously maintained grassy grounds around a beautiful lake. Nice level, pull-through sites. Best WiFi I've ever used at a campground! Very friendly service. Quiet - no road noise. Easy access from I-90. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park. They have amenities like mini-golf and activities for campers. No pool though. Fairly quiet even when very busy. Lots are spacious and offer some shade. Site surface was gravel and features a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is beautiful, full of grass and green trees. The lake is also beautiful with a nice swimming beach. The laundry room leaves a little to be desired as well as the water connected to the motorhome, lots of floaties. Great 4th of July fireworks. We will definitely return. Our site did not have a fire ring where most others did have one, kind of disappointing. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They have many things to keep your entire family busy. Kayaks, canoes, bikes, scooters, paved roads are great for rollerblading, nice Play ground, great swimming beach with nice sand, on sight minni store, sitting areas through out, dog friendly swimming area, handycap accessible cabins, friendly neighborhood campers. I'm sure I'm leaving a lot out! A must camp family facility for sure! We will be back! We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We found this place while traveling thru to another destination and were looking for a place to spend the night. We were here on a Thursday and it was quiet and relaxing. The Campground had many permanent campers, but the units were approx. 90% newer units and sites were well kept. The lady that led us to our site was so friendly and pleasant which was welcoming when coming in from a long day on the road. We needed a pull thru site, and although the site wasn't spacious, it was what we expected and it was fine. There is a small beach, miniature golf and playground. We would stay here again if we are thru this way. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived on a Saturday and this campground was packed with locals. They put us in a pull-through site that I would not recommend to anyone. There was hardly any shade and our neighbors were very close. On Sunday nearly everyone had left, except the people who leave their trailers there full time. I went to the office to see if we could move and it was closed so I left a message. Upon their return, they allowed us to move to any site that was open. The new site was so much nicer and worth the money. They were having issues with their credit card payment system and I paid with a check. We stayed 3 nights. You have to call or email a request because they don't have a reservation system. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here to explore the area. Everything was a distance from campground. There were many seasonal campers. But the campground was well managed and clean. Owners live on site. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

The campground is nice but don't rely on your reservation. Reserved a full hookup pull thru and the owner gave it away, moved us to a second site and gave that away as well. After 9 hrs on the road we pull in and get a spot on the overflow gravel lot with 30 amp and water next to the porta potties. Never again, guess you need to stay more than 1 night or be a local. Charged us $35, could have stayed at Walmart. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful spot. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Most spots are taken by seasonal campers, but every site I looked at was well cared for and neat. Spoke with the owner and they are very dedicated in keeping the camp nice and upgrading the facilities as necessary. WiFi was excellent.

Will stay there again if we are in the area. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Thought I had reviewed after stay, but can not find. It was OK for our 45 ft MH as a one nighter, but appears geared for families. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground was exactly what was advertised and what we were seeking: Nice sites, quiet and with a great beach. The owners/staff were friendly to the point of feeling like long-lost friends, guiding each rig to their site and answering any requests on the spot. Sites were rather large and most are quite well shaded. Hookups were clean. The beach is inconveniently (and oddly) quite a ways from the main campground, so don't expect to walk there with all your gear on a hot day. Many campers drove their vehicles to the beach, crowding around the sites that are there. The min-golf course was very run down, and the owner indicated it would be re-built next year. The sites in our area had the fire ring located at the far end of the site, which we found odd. Kids and adults had a fun, relaxing time and we found ourselves wishing we'd been able to stay another day. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Motorhome.
