We paid a weekly rate of $250 (so basically 1 night free.) This is medium size park with about 60 sites. We were in site 20 and were able to get our satellite into a good position for Direct TV. The owner/operators are very nice. The gentleman who showed us to our site use to work setting up satellite so he was very helpful. He even helped me program my receiver when it wasn't working properly. Site 20 was great for us - no neighbors on one side. The utilities were all just fine. We were told we wouldn't need a pressure reducer and that was helpful as their pressure is already about 40 - 50 psi well water. We didn't really get the air tv channels that they mentioned. The wifi was ok. We had good Verizon phone and 4G LTE signal. We stayed a week while attending to family business in nearby Northfield, MN. The park filled up significantly on the weekend and then emptied out during the week. There are quite few long term residents but they were all on the other side of the park from us. The restrooms could really use some work and the showers cost 25 cents for 9 minutes but they didn't look like someplace I would want to shower. They were probably clean enough but in pretty bad shape so didn't really look clean. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We had a great little spot with good cell phone coverage (sprint). The camp provides wireless(satellite) internet but it is spotty. The pool is very well cared for and gave us hours of fun over our stay. What started out as a one month visit turned into 3 months. We really did enjoy ourselves in this area. It is a short jaunt to the Mall of America in Minneapolis and other fun attractions. We were even able to attend the annual Renaissance fair which was also just a short ride away.

The mud mentioned by other reviewers really wasn't an issue for us over the three months we were here. Yes there was some mud, but what 4 year old doesn't enjoy splashing around in the puddles? We just wore boots- no biggie.

The owners are on-site and friendly. The Camp hosts are all lovely people who seem to be friends and friendly with everyone around. Very good experience. If we can we will definitely be back. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Motorhome.

There is so much to do around Faribault. I found our location quite central to everything we wanted to see.

The staff was very nice. It is impossible to drive a large rig with scratching it on overgrown shrubs and trees. It is an over priced mud pit that is swarming with biting bugs. Seems to be full of long termers. Basically a trailer park. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Motorhome.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The site was fairly level, but a bit tight for a 42 foot rig. The wifi was non existent, but our Verizon mifi worked ok. The park is older and has a lot on long termers in it. It is a good spot for an overnighter, but not so much for long term. The value is just not there for this park. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Female owner extremely rude! You are allowed 4 people per camper, we rented two lots for a family function so we had a total of 8 guests. Two of our guest arrived the second day after work (9:30 pm). My daughter went to the entrance to show them how to get to our site and the lady refused to let the guest in nor my daughter back in. I went to the desk to see what was going on and the lady tells me my daughters a liar and trying to sneak in unregistered guests. Tried to explain this was part of the 8 people we registered and that they just got off. She still continued my daughter was a liar. We went back to our camper and later I tried to go up and talk to the male owner to let him know we were not happy about how we were treated and we were made to feel like we were all lying and trying to cheat them. It was ridiculous. Very sad experience because we loved it there the year before. The staff was friendly then, male owner was awesome and it was very quite. We will never go back. This is a small friendly park. The owner came out to help us pull forward as the site was uphill a bit. Our site was quite large and had trees for shade. We were only there for two nights, but I had stayed there once before and came back because of the wonderful staff. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I want to be fair, because the people seemed friendly enough, including fellow campers, but for $38 a night, I don't think it's too much to expect to not have to drive through and trek through mud. It evident that no one has spent a dime on gravel in too many years, and I understand that it rained the night before, but seriously. The interior roads were all muddy (not "get stuck muddy", just standing water and sloppy, sandy mud). We had to park our car across the road from our site, so were forced to gingerly pick our way back and forth, leaving our shoes off at our door. The site was fairly level, didn't use the water hookup, but I just feel that the price should have been down around $20-25 a night, considering the site and road conditions. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Motorhome.

Wow, where do I start? They charged us 335.00 for 4 nights. The water pressure very poor. The water comes out cloudy. You can get a large rig in there, but its stressful due to the s curve driveway and many uncut trees. The park is small and dirty. The owner treated us very poorly. We were lied to when we pulled in; then she tried to say we were the liars. I did not feel comfortable at all. We had to park our truck on the playground because there was no room. Then when they started to fill up it was really bad. Kids running around your camper; then they rode their bikes around our camper. Our sewer tube was on an up hill; needless to say it did not work well. We felt this park is one step up from a trailer park We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here while we visited relatives in the area. This CG is apparently the only one in this area that likes big rigs and/or has room for rigs 65 feet or more. We checked and called several who did not want our business. The good - long, fairly level grass/gravel sites with hookups that worked correctly. Friendly work campers who know what they're doing, that stop and speak and the park has a nice pool. The not so good - the owners charge people $4.00 per person (even non swimmers) to visit you. He lets people park by their site, except if someone complains about campers with big trucks; then you get to park away from your rig. Rate is too high; we won't return. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of freeway noise. Gravel pads with lots of debris that gets tracked into your RV. Water pressure was terrible and internet was intermittent. Very poor campground for the money. We stayed as part of a group, so the rate was a 10% discount. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

An older but well maintained commercial campground. Campsites are large enough for big rigs but have little intervening space or screening. Most sites have partial shade from tree cover. Approximately 20% of the sites appear to be rented seasonally. Coin laundry on site, machines worked OK with two out of nine marked "out of service." This campground is near the freeway. There is some freeway noise especially in the sites closest to the freeway. The tent sites are farthest from the freeway and the noise there is for the most part barely audible. I didn't find the noise to be a problem. As other reviewers have noted this campground has an unusually restrictive visitors policy which is strictly enforced. There is a $4 charge per person for visitors, who are they asked to sign in? Propane is available on a cylinder exchange basis only, with 20# and 30# cylinders available. We found the water pressure consistent and had no problems with the electric service despite a hot day with many air conditioners going. There is a Walmart and a Hy-Vee grocery within 1-2 miles. The campground is readily accessible from the freeway. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Older campground and facilities are showing their age. The entry and interior roads are narrow and some tight turns. Friendly staff. It appears that there were several permanent units in the park. Utilities are spread out and not on central post. OK for an overnight stop. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Motorhome.

We were very pleased that it could accommodate large units since it is 40 feet. There are lots of trees so that was nice to see. The man that greeted us was very helpful and assisted us in parking this rig. He also helped set up our DirecTV box which allowed us to get TV. While they don't have cable TV, there is satellite TV hook ups which was a plus. We were able to check our email with Wi-Fi. The restrooms were very clean and the grounds looked like they were very well maintained as we arrived just after they had been mowed. This was a pleasant experience and we will be back. We don't have small children, but we noticed several things for kids like the playground, pool, bikes and game arcade. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Motorhome.

Great campground. Very family friendly, beautiful sites and a lot of activities for the kids. They also have plenty of grass, which I prefer vs camping on crushed rock. We camped at Camp Faribo Campground in a Motorhome.
