Beautiful campground, but no wifi or cable. Personnel very friendly. Had a great site for one night. We left our door awning out when we pulled out in the morning and they call us within a minute to tell us. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean park. The site was level with owners and workampers that were very helpful. The pool area was very clean along with the playground. The wifi at the site was acceptable as was the tv on rabbit ears. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners were very friendly, led us to our site. We had a pull-through, long enough for our 40' coach and toad. The campground is very well maintained. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

Very clean, well kept park. Friendly staff. Escort to site. Not far from I-94 and close to Alexandria Shooting Park. Here for the state high school trap shoot. Hope to visit again next year. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

The campground was great. It was beautiful and had everything you could need. Didn't use the pool as it was chilly the weekend we were there. Our family was there at two campsites, one with a tent and one with a pop-up camper. I appreciate that it is a nice quiet family type campground but they were WAY too strict about everything! It did not make for a fun relaxing weekend. I would never stay here again due to how terrible they were. You can't have fun at all! We aren't crazy as we have a baby with us, but we still would like to have a campfire and spend time chatting with our family without being interrupted numerous times for ridiculous rules. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Tent.

The camp sites are generously spaced and there is a lot of grassy area between the sites. We were in site A and it was very level. The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was too weak to hold the signal. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

Peaceful atmosphere with numerous shade trees. Our gravel campsite overlooked a small pond. Courteous staff. Picnic tables. Fire rings. Full hook-up. However, the one inconvenience was Wi-Fi. You have to walk to the picnic tables in the lower campsites (closest to the office) to get a signal. Other than than it is a lovely campground. We'll definitely visit again. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

This is such a cute campground. The pool is very nice with roomy seating. The setting is beautiful: pond, rolling hills, trees, short nature trail, 2 paddle boats. The bathrooms are clean. We were there on a Monday night and it wasn't crowded at all. It is very quiet. The sites are very roomy with grass and trees. The wifi isn't great but that seems to be the standard in rv parks. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for one night on our way home from out west. The women who worked in the office were super friendly and helpful. You can tell that everyone takes pride in the place, and doing a good job. We were here on a Friday night, and it was full. I was afraid it might be noisy, as there were lots of very young kids. Thankfully it quieted right down once it got dark. It looks like alot of local families camp here, as there are plenty of activities the campground plans, as well as a small pool. It wasn't heated, so we didn't use it.

Our site was plenty long enough for our motor home and my car. We had an escort to our site, which was very nice. The campground is on a fairly busy road, so I imagine sites near the road wouldn't be very peaceful. Thankfully our site was at the very back, so it was nice and quiet.

If in the area, I would definitely return, and would recommend to others as well. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are several ponds on the property, and a nice hiking trail thru the woods. The camp store offers quite a few supplies, as well as a small selection of dvd rentals for just $1.00.

Great family campground with large playground, Quiet, clean, neat and trimmed throughout entire campground. Country setting, easy off and on Interstate, nice pull through sites with good space around it. Lots of nice mature oak and maple trees. Quiet hours enforced at 11PM. Mostly 30 amp sites and a couple 50 amp. Owners always upgrading sites adding more 50 amp. Free but marginal coverage area Wi-Fi(closer to store the better it is). Local over air TV reception is good; most sites can get satellite TV. Adequate water pressure 40-45 PSI and clear water, quite a few Full Hook up. All sites including tent sites have water and electricity. Well stocked store and check in area, Friendly and accommodating owners. Weekend themed activities planned for kids activities, free wagon rides through the woods on most weekends, free use of paddle boats for on pond on site. Wooded hiking trail, large ball field and areas for play. Ice and Firewood for purchase at store and delivered to campsites, and basement severe storm shelter. Nice large pool that owner tests the water every day. Pool is unheated but that didn't seem to bother anybody by looking at all the people enjoying it. Horseshoe pits, laundry facilities, clean bathrooms, . . . We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here towards the end of October on our way south. The water was no longer available but we expected that due to the time of year and we were winterized anyway.

We were assigned a very nice long pull thru which was great for our 39' 5th wheel. Escorted to our site. Easy to get in and out. Wifi was good.

Very pretty park, rolling hills and a few ponds.

We would stay here again. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean park convenient to the freeway. We had a drive-thru level lot with full hookups. There were nature trails and peddle boats to use. Nicely stocked camp store. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when their WiFi was down for a short time. Didn't even know there was WiFi available. The nights were quiet and relaxing. Although we didn't have children along, they included us in a Halloween themed weekend, featuring trick or treating and a haunted hayride. The new owners work hard to make sure any young campers are occupied with crafts and activities, and that's every weekend. Great place! We'll be back next season, with our grandchildren in tow. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground with good sized, grassy, level sites. Most sites are pull through. We had full hook ups for $39 a night. The pool was clean but is not heated. There is a large grass field, which is good for playing games, and a nature trail. They have horse shoes, ladder ball, and some other games you can check out for free. All of the staff members that we encountered were very friendly. They do have a rule about not leaving your camp fire unattended until it is fully out, and they enforce it! There are plenty of over night sites, but there are a lot of seasonals and they are scattered throughout the camp ground. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Travel Trailer.

Price was 25+ 1.75 ac + 5 sewer. This campground is very close to Alexandria where the reviews had not been flattering. We were drawn here by the shaded sites and nice grass. It is a 3-1/2mi. drive from the 94 exit, nice paved roads. The welcome at check in was underwhelming. The pool is not usable due to super chlorinating. If so, it was way overdue. The pool was very cloudy. We had to unhook the car to reach the utilities in the pull through. We are hooked up to 30amp but can only run one A/C unit. The power is very marginal We should have moved on when check in seemed to pain the staff. Would definitely NOT return here. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.
