Very nice state of the art campground. Large lot with fire rings. Shutte bus comes by every 20 minutes 24 hours a day to take you to casino or bring you back. Restaurants and bars at the casino are top notch. There is also a 18 hole championship golf course on site. Great vacation spot for adults, not much to do for the kids. Best off to leave them home. Enough said! We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This was a nice spot for an overnight. Only a mile off the Interstate, with a paved pad, and full hookups including cable and Wi-Fi, for only $22/night (plus taxes). This was the discounted Escapees rate. There is very frequent and very convenient shuttle service to the casino. We signed up as new Rewards members in the casino and were given $10 each in free plays, so the net cost for staying there was about even. We even won a little money which almost paid for our dinner. Overall, a very nice way to spend an evening. Only downside was that our site was supposed to be 50 ft long, but we were just barely able to fit, and connect the power cord, and still have room to park the jeep. We did fit, but it was tight. This is a very nice campground with asphalt streets and pads with patios, but with lots of grass between sites. The streets are fairly wide for maneuvering. The staff was very helpful, but they gave us wrong directions to get to our site, so we had to turn around to back in properly - not easy for a big rig. It was very busy in the summer, but fairly quiet. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

We have stayed here many times over the years and have never been disappointed with the RV park and its amenities, casino, and staff. Somethings have changed however: More and more golf carts running around at all times. But most annoying is the dog traffic - owners either leave them unattended in RVs or let them poop anywhere, and owners don't pickup after them. Talked to RV park staff and they have a decent pet policy but don't seem very interested in enforcing it. Will stay again soon and hope for a site with NO animals not being taken care of nearby. A 7 rating because of dogs, their owners, and lack of policy enforcement. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Price reflects week night with 15% discount for players card. Consistently clean and well maintained property. Gated access. Asphalt pads. 24 hour shuttle around property to your site. In the several years I have been coming here, this was the first time I had to wait more than a 1/2 hour for the shuttle and it happened more than once. Other than that, it's all good. Laundry and pool areas clean. Cable and Wi-Fi worked great. Other RV parks could take lessons in how to provide good Wi-Fi from these folks. Beautiful, clean park with good power and water pressure. Quiet and of course, with a free shuttle to the casino. We always stay here when we come through this way because there are never any bad surprises. We stayed here in our 43' rig and we will stay here again, I'm sure. This is a very nice campground. The sites are asphalt and level, plenty long for our 5th wheel and truck. We have solid 50 amp electric, water, sewer, and strong Wi-Fi. The campground is open so we get good Dish TV and our Verizon broadband works well. The office staff was busy but friendly. A shuttle provides transportation to the casino. It is also possible to walk there. We would stay here again. Cost is with Escapees or Good Sam discount during the week. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a very nice campground. The sites are spacious, level and most have a shade tree. All the hook ups are as they should be. The connection boxes could be positioned further back tho. There is a free shuttle bus that comes thru the park every 10 minutes or so to take you over to the casino, and bring you back to your site. The only downside to this park in my opinion is the security gate into the park. It is a very narrow entry way and you have to swipe the security card to raise the gate. This makes it difficult if you have a big rig and or pulling a trailer. Be sure and use the right lane as you are going in. It is wider and the left one is for cars. There is a guard shack by the gate, but I didn't see anyone manning the house. I would stay here again. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very nice park and well kept. The sites are level and paved. The utilities worked well and the cable TV has a lot of channels. The Wi-Fi is fast most of the time. There is a very nice pool and play area at the clubhouse. It has a shuttle that comes around every 20 minutes to take you to the casino or restaurants. It is easy to get in and out of the campground, but all the sites are back-in. The office personnel was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Very nice casino RV park with all back-in sites and full hookups, including cable TV. Small trees at some sites that provide a little shade. Plenty of amenities on site including a heated pool, casino, fire rings and paved picnic table area for each site. Nicely laid out fully paved sites with grass between each site. Their free Wi-Fi does not work well, but Verizon aircard worked fairly well. We arrived prior to the weekend and about 80% of the park was empty. By Saturday AM, the park was almost full, so reservations are recommended for a weekend. We would stay here again. Rate shown reflects a 15% SKPs discount. You can also get a 15% discount if you have a Players Club card, but you must get it before checking in. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Had trouble getting reservations as the phone connection was poor but made them finally. The park is large and very well laid out with easy back ins and well maintained asphalt pads and picnic table area. They do have cable which was a good find. Internet is free but fairly slow - we ended up using the Verizon MiFi and got 4GLTE which was fast. The staff is helpful and there is a small grocery, snack and limited camping gear available. A shuttle runs up and down the rows of campsites and gives free rides to the casino next door. Hd a good time and would come back next year. This is the third summer in a row that we have stayed here. We probably would not have come this far north on this trip but they offered us 2 free nights in the RV park based on last year's visit. We stayed two weekday nights during the second week of July. The park was about half full while we were here. They seem to have more extended stay customers than they used to. We had a FHU, back-in site with 50 channel cable TV and free at site WI-FI. I believe that describes all the RV sites. Most site are open enough for satellite reception. There are also about 40 chalets at the eastern edge of the RV park. As noted previously, this can be a extremely crowded park when it is anywhere near full. This is almost always the situation on summer weekends. Call ahead if you want to be here on a weekend. This is as good an RV resort as there is in this area of the country. With a potential customer base of over 1,000 people, they could use a second pool near the chalets. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice campground at a great rate. We stayed here just before July 4th. This place has all the extras, only downside is that they put the sites way too close together and you are very close to your neighbor. All sites are back in sites. They all also have full hookups with cable TV hookup. Also, have 4 different swimming pools that you can choose from to go to. We will stay here again. This is a very nice RV resort, but there are no pull-through sites and the sites are somewhat difficult to back into due to lighted site number posts right out next to the narrow paved drive. I had some difficulty backing in with just a motorhome and watched two 5th wheelers having to negotiate those posts and get their rigs in without back and forward a couple of times. Sites are paved and level with full hookups. I did not use their cable as my satellite had a clear shot and their trees are not mature enough to block. Shuttles come through about every 20 minutes to take you up to the casino or restaurant. I am glad I was not towing my car trailer or I would have had to unhook it to get into the site. All back-in, kind of narrow sites and many roads not that wide either. But we got in OK. Check-in staff not at all friendly and not much - like none - info given on the RV resort; just a map. Laundry was very clean. Easy walk to the casino if you are so inclined - it has a great buffet. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
