Very nice family campground close to downtown, Canadian border and Voyageurs National Park. Some spaces are tight getting into because of trees but fair amount of room between sites. Tight turn in at both entrance which can be avoided by turning on 20th street and coming in back way. Friendly staff! Had a flat tire on Friday afternoon and owner found repair shop after being turned away at tire shop in town. Nightly rate reflects weekly rate of $180 which reflects surcharge for 50 Amp service. Level site. 1 slide close to tree when open. If you have a big rig come into the park the back way on 20th street by school bus barn. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Limited choices in area. Heavily wooded, large rigs might have trouble getting around. Bathrooms old and need remodeling, but worked. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

There are few camping choices in this area. We had made a reservation and when we arrived in the mid afternoon there was a note on the office door that the owner was away and that we were in space 2. This site was directly across from the office and backin access was very tight with trees. We noticed tire tracks from the other side and which looked like a pullthru access. We drove around the block and accessed site 2 from the backside. Just as we got into our space, the owner stuck her head out of the window and yelled that we could not do that! Since we had already "done that" there was not much else to do but hook up. There had been a lot of rain and the grass access was soft and we were lucky to not get stuck but a warning would have nice and yelling at us after the fact was unprofessional. This park is heavily treed with narrow roads and a steep access from the highway. We had to get the wi-fi code from another camper and it only worked for a few hours. The park is run down and as stated the owners were grumpy and not friendly. The entire town of International Falls appears to be depressed and rundown. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Voyageurs National Park was worth the trip. This National Park has no roads in the summer. The park consists of water and islands. The informative boat tour was wonderful. When this park freezes over in the winter, the NPS builds and maintains an ice road for fishermen and snowmobiles. There are many large beautiful houses and resorts on the waterfront near the national park in contrast to the depressed town of International Falls.

Lots of trees. Noisy next to road. A bit tight for big rigs. Utilities worked well. Satellite sites are limited. Owner was friendly. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fantastic staff! We arrived for our first stay, without reservations, at 9 pm and were welcomed as if we were old friends. Paperwork was finished quickly; and we were in our site, making our connections, within ten minutes, at most. Not as "flashy" as some campgrounds, so we enjoyed our stay even better. Our site rent included a surcharge for 50 amp connection. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Price reflects one week stay. Interior roads and sites are grass/gravel/dirt. Has back in and pull thrus. When parked, the male owner said we won't be able to pick up the internet at our site. However, we were able to get the internet at our RV with our Alfa Network antenna. Tree branches needed to be cut back in our site and some others. Was able to get over 20 channels on our TV antenna. Although a lot of them were PBS channels. Allows camp fires. Easy in and out with a 60 foot combo. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Small and very tight park with a few real pull-thrus. Owner said wifi wasn't working properly and seemed very unconcerned about it. No antenna TV reception. Heavy tree coverage would make satellite reception difficult. Convenient location for seeing Voyageur National Park. Nothing else to do in the area. Site #17 is easiest to get in and out of for big rigs. It's narrow so steps come out over a slope which is tough for mobility challenged. Adjoining nice neighborhood and Little League ballpark are great places to walk dogs. They can even be off-leash at the ballpark. Would stay again. Rustic campground, older, but very well maintained. Owner is very accommodating and made sure our Big Rig was in good site. Sites are close together, but after all, it's a campground in town, not out in the woods. We had full hookups, 50 amps, & satellite worked great. Verizon air card worked, be careful your cell phone doesn't jump over to Canada's cell towers or you pay international rates. WiFi too weak for reception...too far away from server. Probably works if you are parked closer to office. Cash or checks only, do not accept credit cards. Close turns but we were one of 5 Big Rigs in and we all made it. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to go to Voyagers National Park, only national park with no roads, so plan on taking great boat tours narrated by Park Rangers. Boise Paper Co no longer offers tours even though town brochure says they do. You are at the international crossing into Canada, so a good day trip. Not too much else to do, but you can say you were at the Ice Box of America, 110 days a year of minus 32 degrees! We were there in June and it was in the 8o's so does get hot in summer.

No Wi-Fi at site unless you are close to the office/house. Bathrooms were old, but clean. Sites close together. Only campground in area. Note: don't expect to see any falls in International Falls as there aren't any. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Adequate campground for a couple of days to see the area. Tight roads and sites, but close to town and convenient to the area attractions. No on site laundry, but a laundromat is just down the street. No Wi-Fi, but our Verizon aircard worked fine. Lots of trees that might hinder satellite reception, but you can pick up some local over the air channels with your crank up antennae. We would stay here again when in the area. The rate reflects a weekly rate, but we only stayed for 6 nights; reasonable enough. This is a nice, clean, older RV park. Not a lot of "big rig" sites, so make sure you call ahead. The turn into the park (if you are coming from the south) is a bit tight. Plan to swing out a bit wide. The owners are really super and willing to help in any way they can. If we ever come back to International Falls, we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The only campground left in International Falls. The owner is on site and is eager to please as far as site selection. Good for an overnight when passing through the area. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Right on the main street of International Falls. Do not depend on Mapquest to find it, as it is wrong. Call for directions. Not all of the 24 sites have sewer hooks ups and very few have electric and water. Another trailer about 75 feet away was hooked up to our water "Y". You have some street noise, but the big thing is you are right next to the school district bus barn, so plan on waking up at 7 a.m. as they back out of the garages and sit there idling to warm up to start the day. (Of course, if you are there during the non-school time, you won't have that problem.) Tight turns so I cannot say a big rig would be able to make it into or around the campground. It is a sharp turn off the main drag and the "Arnold's Campground, turn here" sign is right at the driveway. We missed it and came in the back way by the school bus barn, which really is easier. Friendly owner, who must work part-time for the Chamber of Commerce, as we got the visitor's welcome spiel. No specific pet walk area, but there is a huge grass area behind Arnolds and the bus barn where you have room to let your dog off the leash and run for a while. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I made a reservation at this place 3 days in advance. When I got there the owners were gone, and I was informed by a "neighbor" (who smelled of beer) that the spot I had reserved was still occupied. The site was occupied by a very small travel trailer and probably was too short for a 36' 5th wheel to begin with. I was offered a site that had no sewer hook up and the water connection was a hose shared by at least one other guy from an outlet at least 50 feet away. Although I had specified 50 amp I got a 30 amp that was hot i.e. no circuit breaker. If you can possibly avoid this place I would. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

As near as I can tell, this is the only "show" in town. Access to VOYAGEURS NP, tour the BOISE Paper Mill, and take a side trip to Fort Francis, Ontario: these are the activities you are here for. The Campground Staff was MOST accommodating (I watched them do significant tree trimming so a Big Rig could get into a spot "cleanly". Restroom and shower need some cleaning/painting. Shower costs 25 cents for 9 minutes. If you have a big rig, reserve early. There's not a lot of big rig friendly sites. We camped at Arnold's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.
