Aug 2018 - $25.00
We arrived about 4:30 and was told to pick a site. The brains of the place is down town at city hall. After 5:00 nobody answers the phone. Value is good and they have a lot of empty sites tonight. There is WiFi which does not need a password. Site fairly level and quiet. No pull through sites. Weekends are filled with locals. - Dick Schmidt
Jul 2007 - $15.00
We enjoyed our three day stay here. It is a very nice upper midwest small town campground. The showers and restrooms could have been a little cleaner, but overall they were acceptable. The campground is adjacent to a great county museum and a good fishing lake. The gravel sites are just fine and most are shaded by many huge trees. Also, there is an excellent city park with concession stand, playground equipment, and band stage. There are several very good places to eat in town. We will return again. - pjsky

We were a little concerned when we pulled into the upper campground loop as it initially seemed tight. However, our pull through site was very spacious and it appeared the back-ins were also roomy. Our site overlooked the valley and was very scenic and had a nice viewing bench on the overlook. Unfortunately it was very windy with lots of mosquitoes. There was a very loud train in the valley, but did not disturb our sleep. Electric only, but a very nice camp for an overnight stay. - User3295

We stayed in the upper park and campsites are very large with plenty of trees. They only downside was a very dusty road to get to your campsite. The lower park has smaller sites but has a tar road to the camping sites. Clean bathrooms. There are also hiking trails and a swimming beach. Would stay there again. - gmbmailbox
Jul 2010 - $36.00
It has big spaces and usually separated by trees and shrubs. There are lots of trails for hiking. Lots of mosquitoes in July. There is a swimming pond and beach. We plan to stay there again. - SDBill

This is a small county park with two campgrounds and a horsepark. The south campground has the dump station. Water is available at the horsepark. The roads are dirt, but well maintained. The sites in the south campground were long enough, but it was mostly full of families. The north campground only had one site long enough for our 40 ft MH. We had trouble leveling, but the sites are nice and it is not crowded. The campground was quiet. Good Verizon and Direct TV. We would stay here again. - Deniselg53
