8 RV Parks near Jackson, Minnesota
Jul 2017 - $40.00
We stayed here one night as we traveled through Minnesota. It's a very pretty park with nice amenities. The pool is a good size and a good temperature. There was a nice grill available for campers to use, but there was also a small charcoal grill at each campsite. There were nice trees and lush grass throughout the park. There was a small mini golf course built on a concrete pad. It wasn't fancy, but my daughter and the other kids at the park enjoyed it. The park store had some fun items as well as having a good selection of necessities. The staff was helpful and kind. We camped there in a motorhome. - RVfamof3
Jul 2017 - $46.00
This is a decent park with easy access and good internal roads. Sites are large enough, fairly level and some have nice shade. Our site had a nice wooden deck complete with a table and chairs. We didn't use it, but the swimming pool looked good. Fuel very close buy. But, like most KOA Campgrounds, this one was overpriced by around $10 to $12 compared to other comparable parks. - littleapple
Jun 2017 - $46.00
This is the second time we have stayed here on our way out West. The campground is very convenient off the interstate and yet doesn't experience a ton of noise either. The staff are very helpful in getting people to their site and answering any questions about the area. They have a pool that we didn't use, but it was very popular with kids in the campground. Most of the sites are pull through which is very convenient. - User3641
Jun 2004 - $18.00
Some of the sites were a little hard to level. You had to pay a $7.00 one time daily fee on top of the nightly rate which wouldn't be bad if you stay for more than one night but overall it was nice and if in the area again we'd stay. - Donna P
Jul 2016 - $35.00
Average park. 2 small fishing piers. Not very many sites with water views. Lots of seasonal sites. Site 108 has trees on both sides of pull thru that need some major trimming. Utilities hook up is at rear of site so motorhome with tow does not work. Had to unhook. Picnic table has not seen paint for quite some time. Would not stay here again. - ontheroadmama
Jun 2016 - $35.00
Easy to drive around the park with a large 5th wheel and crew cab truck. Long sites on a slight angle makes backing easy if you have a back-in site. Decent water pressure, decent WiFi speed and good WiFi signal strength. Cable TV worked well. No fenced dog run. 5 MPH speed limit (ridiculously low) that doesn't seem to be followed or enforced. Good park overall. Would stay here again. - TH travelers
May 2016 - $27.00
Very clean and family oriented. Most sites were pull-through, easy to access, and spacious. Park was clean, well maintained and augmented with numerous activities for family members. Staff was professional and went out of their way to ensure your arrival and stay were quality in every respect. - Myra McGilvary
Aug 2017 - $10.00
Very nice campground with gated entrance & exit. Mostly pull thru sites. Best HD cable tv we've ever had at an rv park. Amenities include indoor pool, horseshoes, shuffleboard, sand volleyball, mini golf, playground, & game room in Welcome Center. There is also a grille in the Welcome Center that serves a limited menu for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Prices are reasonable & food was good. Wifi was very good, but only available in the clubhouse. Water & electric hookups were near the center of the site, but the sewer connection was closer to the rear of the site. Each site had a portable grill & aluminum picnic table on a concrete patio. Our only negative comment concerns a tree near the right front of our site that would have been a very close call if we would have had to exit to our right. Luckily, the site in front of us was empty & we were able to pull through it on our way out. Staff was friendly & helpful. One of the best C2C parks we have been in. We will definitely return when in this. - c lewis
Jun 2017 - $10.00
This is a very large gated/guarded RESORT featuring camping, hotel rooms, snack bar/internet lounge, club room, indoor pool, playground, mini golf, fishing pond with paddle boat rentals, picnic pavilions & storm shelters. The staff is fairly friendly (although all business) & the grounds very well maintained. The only drawback is the water supply is not good. Very rusty so bring your own for drinking or they have a Culligan refill station in the club house for $.50/gal. They even pick up your trash at your site. There are quite a few seasonal residence & a lot of boats at sites and in storage/parking areas. Nearby Spirit Lake is a water sports haven so, bring your boats! - rracer5
Jun 2017 - $10.00
This is truly one of the nicest C2C parks we have used. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was trees. There were too many to even think about satellite reception and this is probably the reason they only have wifi in the main registration area. It is excellent there. That being said about the satellite, they charge $2.00/day for cable and it is digital, not the grainy analog stuff you usually pay for. Now for more positives: the staff was very friendly and helpful, easy pull through sites, adequate room between rigs, good AT&T. Grill at each site if needed. I am an old f--- but they had lots of activities for everyone. On the weekend they were full with many kids but everyone was well behaved and things quieted down at 10:00. Great pool and excellent cafe in the main hall. I ate breakfast there twice: it was good and inexpensive. Laundry was inexpensive and convenient. They entire area was very nice and we would stay here again. - vmi1962
Jun 2017 - $25.00
Right by the lake. Washboard road leads to the park. No water connection, although there is a place to fill up. No sewer connection, but there is a dump station. There is electricity. We picked up some tv stations using our antenna. Campsites are on the grass and the sites aren't well defined. That being said, it's a pleasant place to stay by the lake, quiet and easy southbound access to the highway. No close services, restaurants or grocery stores. Cost was reasonable at $25. - jkp99b
Aug 2016 - $20.00
This is a no-frills campground. The sites are grass, and have water and 30 A electric. There is a dump station on the facility. This is right next to the lake but I would not call this lakeside camping, since there is a dirt road between the sites and the lake, and the lake has docks and other areas that people go fishing from.
The camp host has wood and ice available for purchase at a reasonable cost. The sign said $15 for the site but he asked for $20 and I didn't argue Maybe there was some fine print and I wasn't going to stand on principle over $5.
Shower and restroom were clean enough, though could use a coat of paint. Water was warm and strong. Almost no one was here in Mid-August and they do not take reservations. - zDale
Aug 2017 - $20.00
This is a very nice campground except for one thing on our particular site...low tree branches that punctured a hole in our roof! 50 amp, sewer, great water pressure, shade and enough over the air tv channels. Good interior gravel roads and fairly quiet. We heard one train in the afternoon and none at night. Easy on and off I-90 and decent free wifi. - Ginny H
Aug 2017 - $29.00
Passing through on our way to Yellowstone we found this gem RV Park late on a Saturday night. The owners were friendly and the property is extremely well maintained and offers generous gravelled sites with grassy areas, trees and picnic tables. Our stay was quiet and we would definitely recommend this Park. Auf Wiedersehen! - Sigrid Green
Aug 2017 - $20.00
We have stayed here many times over the years. This park has steadily improved from poor to very good over these years. The owners have worked hard to change it from dirt and gravel to good shade and grass sites. A quiet and level place to stay. - W Davidson
Jun 2016 - $40.00
Basic long gravel pull-thrus. Nothing fancy. Turned our that "Arnolds Park" is quite the pretty area! 5 beautiful lakes around here! We drove around a bit and really enjoyed the views and a nice restaurant. Can see why this is a popular summer boating place. Seems like almost everyone has a boat ;-) They don't care about the "camping" part, they are here to go out on one of the beautiful lakes! Can't blame them! Nice people, clean park, level sites. (Nothing to get excited about). - MarieB
May 2011 - $40.00
Price based on Memorial Day weekend. Back in was kind of tight. We would have had trouble backing in if there would have been a rig across from us. Park is fairly new, so trees are still small. Side roads/sites are gravel. Very clean. Nice office/restroom/shower/community room building. People were very friendly. We will definitely stay there again. - MN-Jim
Aug 2006 - $25.00
This campground has the nicest bathrooms we encountered during our recent vacation. The shower, toilet and sink are in a single room, allowing you to take care of all of your business in total privacy. Our site had no picnic table, and none of the sites has shade because the trees are very young. The location is good, as Arnolds Park amusement park is about a mile away. The owner is very friendly. - Family of four
Jun 2015 - $25.00
Great Campground - Plenty of space!
Pulled into this newer campground on a weekend stay in the area. It's fairly new, so all the hookups and facilities still have that "New" feel to them.
There are several play areas for the kids, which were very welcome, and each spot has plenty of "elbow" room from your neighbors.
As was previously said, campfire wood is available on site, and the owners are around to help with anything needed.
Since this is a new campground there is not a lot of shade by the sites yet. I'm sure in a couple years when the tree's take off this will be a lot better, but for now, you'll need to use the awning.
Overall it was a great experience and I'm sure we'll be back. - flippet
Jun 2015 - $25.00
This is a very quiet and peaceful campground located on a good fishing lake with a dock, seating and a paddle boat. The owners are on site and very friendly and accommodating. Firewood is available and a bargain. It was very windy 2 or the 4 days we were there, we were on the top of the campground and we were rockin' and rollin'.
For all you quilters or seamstresses they have a very nice club house with several large rooms and 2 ping pong tables. They opened it up for me so I could do some cutting. An awesome facility. You could probably "hog"one room and lock it every night and your stuff would be safe. - chris and jerry
