1 Park near Jackson, Minnesota
Jul 2015 - $24.00
Stayed overnight, but would be a good place for a few days.
Spaces are dirt/gravel and might require some leveling. Good access to utility hook ups. "Wifi" access was sporadic and the signal weak.
A few "permanent" residents in the park, and those parked nearby our site were heavy smokers so we "enjoyed" the smell of tobacco smoke most of the evening.
Not far from an interstate highway, but the noise level was almost negligible. - grandflic

This is another KOA we haven't stayed at since the 1990s. We had a pull-through gravel, full hookup site that was satellite friendly. Most sites are not satellite friendly and there is no cable TV. The Wi-Fi network worked fine in the RV. About half the sites are FHU with the rest being W&E, just electric, or no hookup tent sites. There are also a few cabins. It looked like there were about 15 FHU sites one the perimeter taken by seasonal customers (lots of unoccupied during the week 5th wheels and trailers). There is some play equipment and a decent size figure 8 swimming pool. It was another day that was too cool to swim. The laundry was fine but as usual, the bathrooms are inadequate for a park with so many sites without sewers. The owners seemed to be very efficient in running the park as well as being friendly and helpful. They had recycling bins for plastic, paper, glass, and aluminum cans. Small number of FHU sites and lack of cable lowers the rating. - Jerry S

Staff was nice and welcoming, escorted us to our site. Kind of pricey, but that is KOA, pricey but predictable. Wide grassy sites and easy to get to from the freeway. - mountainfan
