This is a decent park with easy access and good internal roads. Sites are large enough, fairly level and some have nice shade. Our site had a nice wooden deck complete with a table and chairs. We didn't use it, but the swimming pool looked good. Fuel very close buy. But, like most KOA Campgrounds, this one was overpriced by around $10 to $12 compared to other comparable parks. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here one night as we traveled through Minnesota. It's a very pretty park with nice amenities. The pool is a good size and a good temperature. There was a nice grill available for campers to use, but there was also a small charcoal grill at each campsite. There were nice trees and lush grass throughout the park. There was a small mini golf course built on a concrete pad. It wasn't fancy, but my daughter and the other kids at the park enjoyed it. The park store had some fun items as well as having a good selection of necessities. The staff was helpful and kind. We camped there in a motorhome. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed here on our way out West. The campground is very convenient off the interstate and yet doesn't experience a ton of noise either. The staff are very helpful in getting people to their site and answering any questions about the area. They have a pool that we didn't use, but it was very popular with kids in the campground. Most of the sites are pull through which is very convenient. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This park is near the Jackson Speedway, so from 7-10 p.m., it sounded like drag racing was taking place in the park, which is why I rated it a 7: because of the Speedway, it isn't a good park if you want any peace and quiet. It was seriously loud. The park was packed for the holiday weekend, so it is obviously popular. It is well-maintained and has friendly staff, lovely lawns and plenty of trees. The dog park is great and is large: we were able to let our dogs off-leash a few times. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Other than the local speedway, there didn't appear to be much to do in town. We visited Saturday morning and downtown was basically deserted.

We stayed one night passing through in our 42 ft fifth wheel. We had a nice easy pull through site. It was level and open. The staff was helpful and the wife was ok. We picked apples from the out of business orchard next door. Overall a good place to stop for the night. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Wi-Fi worked most of the time. No cable TV but got some stations off the air. They had activities at night on the week end. Other than that, it was a normal KOA. I normally don't stay at KOA's. Their prices are generally a little higher than else where. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

A great place to stop for the night! Very long, level pull-thru with 50 amps, satellite friendly, grass for the pooch. Very clean & well kept. It could use some gravel on the sites but it was acceptable even though it rained. Streets are wide and easy to maneuver. Personnel was very friendly on check-in. There are some seasonal sites along the back but all are well kept. This is definitely a good stopping place. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

Basic KOA without the usual KOA Komplaints. The sites were all pull through and were long enough, the access road was easy in, easy out, site was full hook up, neighbors were not too close, nor were trees on top of us, was able to leave in the morning without waiting for others. All of which covers the usual KOA shortfalls. This park is not fancy but the office and staff are very nice. The park is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are well kept and obviously cleaned often.
This park has a nice looking pool and enclosure with a big picnic shelter.
There is a kids playground and a simple mini-putt that was more like a practice green with obstacles.
We got great reception with our antenna. Never were able to get on Wi-Fi which is why we carry a Sprint "Hot-Spot". Owner said, too many users.
There are seasonals and permanents but they are mostly backed in around the perimeter and few take away from the pull-throughs for travelers.
No KOA Kraziness just a good overnight stay at a safe and secure park. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight, but would be a good place for a few days.

Spaces are dirt/gravel and might require some leveling. Good access to utility hook ups. "Wifi" access was sporadic and the signal weak.

A few "permanent" residents in the park, and those parked nearby our site were heavy smokers so we "enjoyed" the smell of tobacco smoke most of the evening.

Not far from an interstate highway, but the noise level was almost negligible. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff was nice and welcoming, escorted us to our site. Kind of pricey, but that is KOA, pricey but predictable. Wide grassy sites and easy to get to from the freeway. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

This is another KOA we haven't stayed at since the 1990s. We had a pull-through gravel, full hookup site that was satellite friendly. Most sites are not satellite friendly and there is no cable TV. The Wi-Fi network worked fine in the RV. About half the sites are FHU with the rest being W&E, just electric, or no hookup tent sites. There are also a few cabins. It looked like there were about 15 FHU sites one the perimeter taken by seasonal customers (lots of unoccupied during the week 5th wheels and trailers). There is some play equipment and a decent size figure 8 swimming pool. It was another day that was too cool to swim. The laundry was fine but as usual, the bathrooms are inadequate for a park with so many sites without sewers. The owners seemed to be very efficient in running the park as well as being friendly and helpful. They had recycling bins for plastic, paper, glass, and aluminum cans. Small number of FHU sites and lack of cable lowers the rating. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-90. Friendly staff. Very dusty interior roads; spaces are dirt/gravel with long, roomy pull-through sites. Good for one or two nights. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Lot of seasonal in lower park. Nice drive thru sites. A little close to neighbors, WI-FI out to most of town (accident?). Definitely would stay again if in the area. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.
