Since it is very early in the camping season it was difficult to reach anyone in the office. Played phone tag with the manager. When we arrived she came driving up in her golf cart to check us in. Very friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to meet us.
After paying our fee she directed us to two different areas, back-ins or pull-through and told us to pick any empty site. Found a nice pull-through which worked for us since we only were staying for one night. Fairly level, good water pressure and great 50 amp service.
The park is rather rustic looking but has a nice playground that looks fairly new and lovely landscaping. All units in the park are neat and tidy which you rarely see in parks that have long term renters.
We would stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Lake Pepin Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This was one of the worst campsites we have had. It started with the check-in process, where the owner checked us in but really only talked to the guy in the lawn chair shooting the breeze and not me. It continued with having to pull out on the street and coming back in to jump the curb to get back into the campground and into our "pull-thru" site. The owner walked us out there, and she told us that our neighbors had been talked with and that would be running our utilities under their camper as our site did not have any. The site was not level, even though it had gravel that could be leveled out. The seasonal campers are rude and don't respect your space, while they parked their boat in and flooded our site with water while cleaning and blocked us in with their mini-van so we could not leave. This campground does not have a view of Lake Pepin from all parts, just one small corner of seasonals. Only come to this campground if you are coming with extra vehicles and boats, because there are no rules on how to park them and manage them on site so you will be happy. We camped at Lake Pepin Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: October, 2005 - $14.00
Clean and quiet. Older bathroom/showers, but clean. Nice view of Lake Pepin. In the city for easy bike access to restaurants. On highway 61, so it was a little noisy with traffic. $9 bundle of firewood. We camped at Lake Pepin Campground in a Travel Trailer.
