Beautiful park with nice spacing between camp sites. There is one 50 AMP Site (#14) but they limit the stay to 7 nights per campsite- no exceptions. They have good access to potable water. And there is convenient dump too. Great walking and bike trails, both paved and off road. Access to the lake for boating & fishing, with a separate swim area. Very close to freeway and shopping. Clean, quiet, scenic, family-friendly. This campground is one of our favorites in Minnesota. Wonderful hiking and biking trails, nice boat launch to Lake Elmo for fishing and as a bonus, it is just minutes away from good shopping and restaurants in the city of Woodbury. This campground is a consistent winner! We camped at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in a Motorhome.Undo

I was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful woman at the park’s registration office. This 2,100+ acre park has a number of lakes – including the 206-acre Lake Elmo, and the slightly smaller Eagle Point Lake. It‘s hard to believe that this quiet, secluded camping area is less than 20 air miles from downtown Minneapolis and St Paul. It served as an excellent base for exploring of the twin cities region. Campsites are well spaced, with 30-amp power. However, there are no water or sewer connections. Verizon broadband connectivity was very good. Over-the-air TV reception is excellent with all the major networks available. In addition to the daily fee, one must purchase a park pass ($25). The pass allows access to a number of county parks for a one-year period. We camped at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a pretty nice park. There is a $5.00 per day entrance fee even though you are camped here. We are close to most everything including the Mall of America which is a must see. Stillwater is a unique little tourist area. If you are here long enough, it's worth strolling through. We will definitely camp here again. They do take reservations We camped at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in a Motorhome.Undo
This is a county campground where a $5 per day or $25 per year sticker is required. The park is very convenient to downtown St. Paul (15 min) and all of the Twin Cities activities. Along with that the park has much to do in itself. It was the best campground we have been to in the 3 years that we have been camping. We camped at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in a Travel Trailer.Undo
