New owners now have the campground, purchased it a little over a year ago. Very gracious hosts who provided all the info we needed of the local area. Nice peaceful campground situated in a small valley and surrounded by some very old trees. Would recommend this site if you are in the Le Sueur area. Rate based on Escapees discount - got two nights for $22 total! Sites pretty level, quiet, beautiful trees, plenty of room. Limited services might be just the overnighters. Maybe seasonal get more amenities. Not sure how previous reviewer got sewer and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is available only in office or right outside. Practically no cell service. Dump station available. Men's bathroom and shower clean and very acceptable. Very pleasant staff. Not much to do outside park but Minneapolis is about 50 minutes away. High rating based on the terrific price. A very quiet park located in a small valley just off the highway. Very friendly owners. The park has a few long-term residents but everyone was friendly and quiet. The only negative was the bathroom/showers. They were adequate but could use an upgrade. Also, there was no heat in the bathroom/shower building even though the overnight temperature was 38 degrees. The $16 fee was with Passport America discount. I would stay here again. We camped at Peaceful Valley Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice little campground. We had a 50amp full hookup. They had the old fuse types you had to pull out and in to turn off and on. All sites were back-ins. Cell phone service on Verizon was sketchy. We did get Wi-Fi using our own amplifier to pull in the signal. Folks that were in the office were very friendly and took us to the site. The worst part about the campground was the 1/4 mile dirt road to the entrance, entrance was paved. The dirt road was a real washboard so you just have to drive real slow: 5mph max. We would return. Camped here for one night on the PA rate. I believe we were the only overnight RV in the park, many permanent/seasonal trailers here. A bit unusual of a park actually. The gentleman in charge was very accommodating. We requested a pull through and although they did not have one, they allowed us to position our coach over two back-in spots which created a temporary pull-through. Really not bad for the money, considering full hook-ups and the peaceful nature of the place. We camped at Peaceful Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.
If you want quiet and a place just to kick back, this is for you. If you have young kids that need something to do, don't come here. Playground was a lawsuit in the making. No pool or beach. Lots of seasonals, kind of had a trailer park feel. Will not be back. We camped at Peaceful Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.
The park lives up to it's name! Very lovely peaceful park. Nice and grassy, and quiet even though it was pretty crowded on the week-end. Not far from the "Mall of America." We camped at Peaceful Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.
