First, here is my disclaimer I always include in my reviews. A) There is no such thing as a perfect RV Park/Resort/Campground, etc. You need to do your research and find the one that best meets your needs. So with that being said, here is my review. Getting registered was a little discombobulated. The owner told us a few days before that we had the pick of the lots. By the time we arrived the Camp Host told us they were all reserved. Fortunately, they found the perfect spot for us to stay in for the next 30 days. Two of the camp hosts were wonderful and friendly while the other 6 were more aloof. Yes, there are 8 camp hosts there because there is A LOT of work for them do so, such as cut grass for the campground and golf course; as well as, cleaning all the buildings, handling registrations, firewood, etc. The grounds were well manicured and they worked very hard. The main roads around the campground are dirt so it is dusty. We were located in the lower half of the campground. There is no WIFI down there so you have to go up to the office area for WIFI. There are two washers & two driers for laundry. They charge $4/laundry. Spot was level with green grass. Eventually all the new spots 32-49 will be seasonal. Spots 1-22 are seasonal & occupied. Pull thru spots 23-31 are for weekenders. My husband used the golf course often & really liked it. There is a daily golfing special for people at the campground. There is a maze & mini golf set up as well. We didn't used it but the mini golf looked well attended. They don't really have a "mail" system set up so you have to go to the P.O. & set up your own PO Box. We had a problem getting Amazon deliveries. I would say this place is geared towards adults. $200 electric deposit is steep. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring your bikes. There is the Paul Bunyan bike trail that runs from Brainerd all the way up to Bemidji. It's easy to bike to Pequot Lakes. Go eat at The Hungry Loon Cafe and Lucky's Tavern. You can also bike down to Nisswa which has great shopping and restaurants. There is probably great shopping in Pequote, but we missed it. All the VFWs and Legions, etc. have meat raffles and those are fun too. Locals are really nice. I could live here.

We stayed at WildWedge a little over a month. This year they opened a new area & this is where we stayed. Site were roomy & we had views of their 9 hole golf course. The camp hosts were friendly & very helpful. This campground also has a mini golf course & a maze for kids. The location of the campground is convenient as there are variety of small towns within a 30 minute drive, which means there was usually some special event or activity happening every weekend. Of course, there are lots of lakes around. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of shopping in Pequot Lakes, Nisswa, and Brainerd, with Farmers Market in Nisswa & Brainerd. There are antique shops in Jenkins. About 1 mile from the campground, there is a movie theater with 5 different screens.

Upon arrival we found staff to be very accommodating and friendly. Sites are well maintained and larger then usual. We were in a wooded beautiful area but still got direct TV satellite. At the campground for fun was a miniature golf, a large wooden maze and a golf course. Super fun place for the family. We will definitely return!! We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Really cool paved bike path winding through the trees right across the highway. Ask the staff how to find it. It went for miles.

We so enjoyed our stay at Wildwedge! We walked the trails daily with our dog, checked out the 9-hole golf course, and were impressed with all the things to do for families with kids of all ages, such as: table tennis, crochet, tether-ball, miniature golf, a cool wood maze, and a playground with sand toys. We hope to have our grandkids with next time we come through. It truly was a pleasure to travel with our RV and find an easy spot to pull into and have full hookups, and the staff were friendly, too. God bless you and your business!

We enjoyed walking the park and seeing the improvements being made and we went to lunch at a Chinese buffet in town that was most excellent. There are a lot of great choices in restaurants for such a small city. We hope to travel the Paul Bunyan trail next time.

Love, Love, Love this place! My kids love all the games available to play, outdoor ping pong, bean bags, Frisbee golf, ladder golf. And the adjoining Par 3 golf course was in great condition and guests of the RV park play for $19 all day long. My kids didn't want to quit! And the mini golf and maze are awesome too. Great shady sites on golf course, good wifi, best and cleanest bathrooms of anywhere we stayed too (according to wife). Will be back again and again. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great little golf course and mini golf, don't miss it! Great shopping in Pequot and Nisswa. Crosslake has some great lakeside dining places we went for a special occasion. Go by car or boat. We brought our boat and boated the whitefish chain which was very close to a boat launch.

I am an insurance adjuster that was deployed to Minnesota for a hail storm, I needed a place to stay at the last minute and was able to get in to WildWedge RV park. I spoke to owner and he was so helpful and did everything he could possible to make us comfortable and find us a spot and the 4th of July was around the corner and he was booked solid! We highly recommend WildWedge RV Park and the staff is awesome! Clean park and very well maintained! We hope to get deployed here again and will no doubt stay at WildWedge RV Park. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in August with some friends in 3 sites and had the best time ever. Our kids loved the mini golf and maze. We loved they were having fun. They had lots of outdoor games to use too and an outdoor ping pong table the kids spent hours on. Spent 3 weekends here this summer and already planning for next. Might even get a seasonal next year. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here in a 43ft motorhome with a tow car. Sites where we were are level. No problem with using our satellite system. Camphost was super, very helpful upon check-in and during our stay. The only frustration was some campers don't honor the 9 mph in the park. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Would be ok for overnight. Lots of activities near. Golf and Mini golf, shopping and lakes. Firewood was little expensive, host polite but forgot tv box until late night then came to apologize but still didn't bring the box until the next morning which we didn't need as we were gonna be on the run then. Did have full hook-up. Was level. Well mowed and clean. Golf and mini golf was nice. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The new owners of this campground are working hard to make it nice. You can tell they take pride in their property and have a vision for its future. Lots of saplings planted that - in a few years - will make the park beautiful. The golf course and mini-golf are very well cared for. The bathrooms are new and clean. The pull-through sites have no trees but overlook a beautiful green area. The picnic tables are the nicest we've seen... clean and new. We camped at Wildwedge Golf and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed her over Memorial Weekend and had the most wonderful time with our friends and family. My parents who do not have an RV stayed in the 2-room suite above the lodge and it was soooo nice! Had a deck overlooking the golf course so they could watch the kids go by. They were thrilled to participate in camping with us without having to camp. Our friends stayed in an adjoining site. The kids loved the mini golf and maze and we all purchased unlimited golf for the day and had a great time playing golf too. The bathrooms/showers were the best we've ever had. Will be back soon! Great restaurants and shopping in Pequot Lakes and Nisswa. Mostly we just stayed there and had relaxed, though. There's a nice new grocery store in town so we stocked up on food, cooked, grilled, relaxed.
