Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The $30.00 rate is based on a 7 day stay weekly rate.
I see that several people hace left reviews recently, so all I can do is to echo the same as they have said. This is a beautiful well manicured and kept park. The casino complex rivals anything in Las Vegas, and Hank Williams Jr. played the week we were there. The full sized bus to the Mall of America is great. 22 miles away, takes about 30-40 minutes. The gym complex is beautiful, about 1/2 mile away with the local shuttle service available if you want and is yours for $5 per day. Local shopping is about 3-5 miles in any direction for food etc.
As with all Tribal owned campgrounds, there is never any cable tv connection, as they want you in the casino, not watching tv. However, being 25 miles SW of Minneapolis, we were able to pick up numerous (34) stations over the air with our King digital antenna.
The only down side we did not care for was that 2 sites are always paired together, with both sets of utility connections sharing the same center island area, so that when you pull in and connect, your neighbor must pull in the opposite direction to connect. Result is that your rv's are about 5-8 feet apart back to back. So if you both have big slides, you can almost open your windows and shake hands with your neighbor! The front of your site is open and grassy and a reasonable distance to the next rv. Overall, a very nice place, reasonable priced with the best on site fuel price around. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful landscaping, very quiet, clean bathrooms with great security. Not the friendliest place we've camped (in terms of other campers; campground staff was great) but it made a good overnight stop in the area. Wish the sites weren't double but we got lucky and had no neighbor to share hookups with. If we had they wouldn't have been more than a few feet away. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Dakotah Meadows RV Park is part of the Indian's Mystic Lake Casino complex south of Minneapolis. The hillside has recently been redone (I was told, and it looks it) with exceptionally nice paved roads and concrete pull-through sites. A shared concrete island between rigs has full hookups so that side is close to your neighbor; on the passenger side is an AMPLE grass area with a table, fire pit and grill for each rig beside it. This park has about 80 sites on a gentle hillside; even-numbered sites face north (cooler), odds face south (with a bit of a view). They also have about 50 sites below, close to a pond. Many of the latter are back-in (as are the very top ones on the hill); these have larger sites. WiFi is excellent. Satellite has clear S and SW exposure. Quiet. Plenty of trees. I don't think I've ever before been in a park for which the first descriptive that comes to mind is "clean". One of the best we've visited (over 180 so far). We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are paved and level but a little close to one another. The park is clean and quiet. The Wi-Fi is horrible and we could not get it to work during the 5 nights we were there. Security made regular rounds through the park. They have their own fuel island on site and the price is as good as anywhere in close proximity. I would rate the park a 9 if the Wi-Fi worked. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I would stay at this park even if I wasn't just passing through across country. Super, super clean. Great customer service. They have free shuttles all over the property. We stayed here because of the free, yes free, shuttle into the Mall of America. They have shuttles that will take you all over the area. Seriously this is a great deal!
The sites are level, wide and well kept. The park is beautiful and the casino is nice too. They have cheap fuel on site and an RV wash too. Just a beautiful property.
There is no "clubhouse" per se but you can pay $5 per person to gain access to their fitness center.
The bad - The wifi here is not good. I think that is the only bad thing I can say about this park. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Price reflects FMCA discount. Beautiful park south of the Twin Cities is a distance from major highways, shopping and restaurants. There is an RV and car wash, storm shelter and fuel available on premises, and shuttle buses for the casino and recreational facility. Pull thru sites are extremely close to neighbor on one side and grass area is shared with neighbor on the other. We will stay again. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

The sites are well laid out, but are side by side with only a couple of feet between your slides and theirs. The hook-ups we great. It was very easy to get around. No cable but plenty on the antenna; WiFi was excellent. The place looks beautiful. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

We last stayed at Dakotah Meadows over 10 years ago and were pleased that the park has been kept up. Grounds are nicely landscaped; playground and walking trail are also available. Sites are side-by-side but we didn't have a problem with our site. Shuttle service is available to Mystic Lake Casino. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park next door to the casino. All sites are pull thru. Everything worked fine. Park was quiet. Some leveling is required with most sites.

I would have given this CG a 10 except for the fact that you are parked head to toe with your neighbor with very little space between. Also, the sewer hook-up is recessed under a metal cover and doesn't allow for a secure mating with standard sewer hose. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

One of if not the most beautiful parks we have used. Easy access for pull thru and back-in. Back-in offers more privacy and space between units. Spotless, secure, modern comfort. WiFi was good, no cable, but with over 50 over the air channels, didn't need it. Laundry was clean and maintained. The access to the casino's buffet was awesome. $13.99 for all you can eat of some of the most delicious food we've eaten. Fairly close access to Mall of America by car or their shuttle. Close access to great area shopping (Target, Costco, etc.). We HIGHLY recommend. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is the nicest of the Native American parks in MN. The sites are cement and semi level. There is grass everywhere and trees on the common areas. The pull through sites are tight if two big rigs are next to each other. The back end sites are perfect. You get about 20 feet of grass on each side of you and a small green belt behind you. Every thing is clean and beautiful here. All signals are strong, the golf, fuel and casino is right there. Great place. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pull thru sites are tight; had to purchase a card ($5 with $3 returned at check out) to use restrooms & laundry; no pool; paved roads were nice; lots of green space; RV wash is nice but pricey; storm shelter was an unusual amenity but good if needed; laundry was $2.50 for washer & dryers; next to casino so lots of traffic & noise during events such as rib fest. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
