VERY NICE campground! The park uses city water and water pressure is good. I measured 62 PSI at our site. Power was good and stable. 121v on both legs of 50 amp service. This is an adult destination campground. Dakotah Meadows RV Park is located adjacent to Mystic Lake Hotel and Casino. That being said the campground is family friendly. The campground is very clean and well maintained. Nice deep back-in sites. Pull troughs are located very close to each other. Pull through sites share the same utility hook ups. Hook ups are located between each RV. The right side of your RV faces the right side of your neighbor sharing the pull through. If you want privacy then you should consider a back-in site. Interior roads are in great condition and easy to navigate. Signage of where to park when registering is lacking. When you pull into the park you will see a building with 'Headquarters' on it directly in front of you. That is the campground office. Pull into the parking lot in front of Headquarters then pull in behind the RVs parked in the center and then park parallel to the gas pumps. The RVs parked in the center of the parking lot are paying $15 a day for storage. The park has free WiFi. I tried using using it without success. The WiFi was very erratic and unstable. There is a RV-Car Wash that is large enough for large RVs. The back portion was broken the week we were here and you could not wash your RV. IF the RV-Car Wash was working I would have rated this a 9. RV washing at your site is prohibited. The campground offers a playground, picnic pavilion and a storm shelter. The shelter remains locked until a sever weather advisory. There is no dog walk. There are trees here that can interfere with satellite reception. Our site (B4) has a tree that blocks reception of satellites 110 and 119 from Dish Network. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good hookups. Alternating sites can be quite close to your neighbor so plan accordingly if slides are on your driver side. No CATV. Good OTA reception. Satellite reception if you place your coach just right. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed a back-in site during our stay so space between the neighboring units wasn't an issue. I personally wouldn't want to stay multiple nights on their pull through sites as the are literally right next to each other (back to back with maybe 2 feet between slide-outs). The was a $5 deposit per key card for the restroom/laundry of which $3 is returned upon check out with the return of the card. There is a fuel station at the exit designed for RV use and actually had the best price for diesel during our stay. The showers, walking areas/sidewalks, laundry was immaculate throughout our week stay. This is a great park to stay at for easy access to Valley Fair Amusement Park and a short drive from Mall of America, Minneapolis, and Minnehaha Falls. Even though it sits in front of a casino, the park is very peaceful with guests observing quiet times, etc. A security patrol from the casino was seen daily in the park as well. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to sites and laid out well. The only negative is the back-to-back pull through sites. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cadillac of campgrounds. On the premises of Mystic River Casino. Well managed and operated. RV wash and cheap gas right on site. Two spaces per site. Each camper pulls in side-to-side, with fronts facing opposite direction. Concrete pads; level. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park! The sites are large, clean and beautiful. The gorgeous pond in the middle has a fountain which really adds to the ambiance. The wi-fi is excellent. Laundry room is nice. Many beautiful places on site to go for a walk. Right across from the casino which we did not go to, but would have gone to the buffet if we had more time. Staff were friendly. Good security on site. Access to fitness center for a small fee. We have stayed here before and would come again and again. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A first class RV resort. Nicely landscaped, wide paved roads, a large pond and fountain, an RV gas pump and RV wash, concrete level sites and good utilities. The majority of the sites are side by side, not our favorite. Really tight on the utility side. Nice, grassy patio area with picnic table and shared barbeque grill. You're sharing the patio area with the site next to you but it's long and wide so you can still get some privacy. The back in sites on the top row are very nice. No side by side and your own large grassy patio area. Large, heavy trash receptacle at each side by side site; very handy but another obstacle to watch for when parking rig. Nice shade but satellite reception wasn't an issue. Very nice restrooms spread throughout the park. $5 deposit for the keycard to the restrooms but you only get $3 back. $2 service charge, which they don't tell you about because, well geez, didn't you see it in the fine print on the key card? Yeah, I make a point of reading a keycard. Service charge for what? Bad policy, leaves a bad taste. Office closes early, 4:00 p.m. Staff was o.k. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Extremely well maintained park. Someone was always mowing or emptying trash bins. There is a small trash container between every couple of sites, so it wasn't a long walk! Next door to the Casino. Also a golf course. Nice playground for the kids, and plenty of area to walk the dog, but no dog park. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

The campground is nice and convenient to doing activities on the south side of the MSP area, but the sites being side by side is not attractive to me. The back in sites are nice to get, but they all fill up fast. The price has went up in the last couple of years and I don't think that it is justifiable with there not much to do at the campground as far as kids activities. All the sites have water, electric, and sewer hookups. They also have a few teepees to stay in. A lot of road noise that you can hear overnight. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects the April weekly rate. One of the only parks open this time of the year in the Twin Cities area. We were certainly not disappointed! Very reasonable weekly rate, here is a discount available on the daily rate with AAA or FMCA. Very clean park overall and well maintained. Utilities worked great. Had clear satellite TV reception, good Verizon (7.75mps down) & AT&T (9.82mps down) Data connections, never tried park wi-fi. Free shuttle to casino, and fitness center. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing missing is a dog park, but there is plenty of places to walk along sidewalks. Will definitely stay here again! We were provided a 10% discount even though we didn't have AAA or FMCA. We said we had Good Sam so they gave us the discount anyway! Easy and efficient reservation and check-in. All hook-ups worked perfectly. Wifi worked fairly well except during peak periods. Verizon cell worked well. Sprint Mifi worked fairly well. Water pressure was fine. We requested to add an extra day and the staff was very helpful. We had to change sites which was no problem. This is a lovely campground which is very clean and well-maintained. A couple of negatives - 1. As others have said, you are very close to your neighbor on the hook-up side but you have a nice grassy area on your front door side. 2. The signage to find the rv park wasn't very good. It's easy to see the casino from a distance (it's a tall building) but coming in for the first time, it wasn't clear to us exactly where to turn in specifically for the rv park. If you see the "RV Wash" sign - that'll take you there. Several positives - 1. Park is very big rig friendly. 2. Free shuttle to Mall of America (get the schedule at the office so you can plan accordingly). 3. Lake, playground and overall landscaping are impeccably maintained. 4. The fitness center across the street at $5/person per day is a bargain. It's a FABulous facility. 5. Friendly and accommodating staff. 6. We had a serious rain storm and their drainage system worked well. We had no issues afterwards with mud or puddling. We would definitely stay here again.

NOTE - There is construction in process along the backside of the B sites so you want to avoid that area. Also the playground can be noisy including kids walking thru your campsite to get to it (Sites A26-A30). I prefer sites A38-A78 but you really can't go wrong with any site. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Simply one of the nicest parks we've stayed in in the 3 years of travel. This is adjoining, and owned/managed by, the Casino here.

The park is about a quarter mile from the Casino and thus no noise/traffic issues. Spaces are large, level concrete arranged so that you pull through and your immediate neighbor pulls in the opposite way. On a raised concrete area is your own modern pedestal with all hook-ups. The neighbors is on the same, just down from yours.

Each is separated by a large, luscious and meticulously maintained grass area with a BBQ, fire ring and table. Trees are mature and well spaced.

The management is super friendly and helpful. The store area has a good supply stock.

We definitely will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The $30.00 rate is based on a 7 day stay weekly rate.
I see that several people hace left reviews recently, so all I can do is to echo the same as they have said. This is a beautiful well manicured and kept park. The casino complex rivals anything in Las Vegas, and Hank Williams Jr. played the week we were there. The full sized bus to the Mall of America is great. 22 miles away, takes about 30-40 minutes. The gym complex is beautiful, about 1/2 mile away with the local shuttle service available if you want and is yours for $5 per day. Local shopping is about 3-5 miles in any direction for food etc.
As with all Tribal owned campgrounds, there is never any cable tv connection, as they want you in the casino, not watching tv. However, being 25 miles SW of Minneapolis, we were able to pick up numerous (34) stations over the air with our King digital antenna.
The only down side we did not care for was that 2 sites are always paired together, with both sets of utility connections sharing the same center island area, so that when you pull in and connect, your neighbor must pull in the opposite direction to connect. Result is that your rv's are about 5-8 feet apart back to back. So if you both have big slides, you can almost open your windows and shake hands with your neighbor! The front of your site is open and grassy and a reasonable distance to the next rv. Overall, a very nice place, reasonable priced with the best on site fuel price around. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
