Cement roads, cement sites, picnic tables and small trees. Everything a senior traveler wants. Gasoline on premises is discounted. Car wash for your tow and RV! Staff very helpful and nice. We had a weekly rate of $245 so I estimated the daily/military rate. We arrived after hours and our site was posted on office door. Tried to use the shower the next morning, but a key access required for laundry and showers. Had to wait for office to open. Each key required a deposit, showers were great! We don't gamble, but the park has a shuttle that picks you up at your site and takes you to the casino. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a pretty park that was well planned. The sites are set up as buddy style where you share a patch of grass between. You are very close to the person on the driver side with just enough room for slides. The back-ins are $5 more than the pull thrus, which is odd, but the back-ins offered much more privacy. The park provided a free shuttle to the casino (which was also within walking distance). The also provided a free shuttle to the Mall of America. They offer a diesel gas pump as you leave the park that was very reasonably priced. Some trees but we were still able to get satellite. We would stay here again. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dakota Meadows RV park is a very clean, well kept RV park. The back in sites are spacious for a private type campground. The pull through sites are tight with drivers side to drivers side parking and a good opportunity to get very close and know your neighbors. All are full hook ups and within walking distance and shuttle distance to Mystic Lake Casino. The laundry is small but clean. Everything is well landscaped and well-kept up. We were able to easily have our mail and Amazon deliveries made there. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent park near Minneapolis and the suburban area. Big rig friendly with paved roads, concrete sites with grass in between. Very clean with a trash receptacle at every site. Good wifi and had no problem with email or surfing the net. We did not use laundry or bath facilities. Shuttle bus to Mall of America and Mystic Lake Casino. Would come back for another visit. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 2 weeks. Place is really clean and easy to find. I stayed in the pull-through section. While sites don't share water, electric, or sewer outlets with its adjacent site, your neighbor is EXTREMELY close in the pull-through section of the park. You can reach your hand out the window of your slide and touch your neighbor's RV. Site was level concrete and easy to get in & out of. We really did enjoy some nice scenary for a city-style park as well as 24/hr shuttle to the casino & 24/hr security. Bathrooms & showers were really nice but only had one stall in the men's room. My major complaint with the park was how they tried to nickel & dime us. For example, the laundry was $3.50/wash and $2.50/dry - way overpriced. They also took a $5 dollar deposit for the restroom but only gave $3 back. Given that we paid over $500 for our stay, it was really tacky for them to charge us 2 dollars to use the bathhouse and 6 dollars for one load of laundry. Also didn't like their landscapers driving & weedwacking inches from my RV. Overall, a good park that I would certainly stay at again. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hated this place. Water was turned off for winter, had to pay $5 for a card to use bathroom and laundry. They offer a $3 return for the card, so they charge you to use bathroom and laundry. The office didn't keep advertised hours, so we left without getting even the $3 back. I thought laundry price was high - $2.50 each washer and dryer. Bathrooms are cleaned whenever, no advertised hours, just found a closed bathroom. Only one bathroom is open during the winter. Lovely when there's no water. Only small garbage cans at sites, no dumpster. When I asked office, they said there was a dumpster by the RV wash, but there was a sign warning not to use it. Office staff not helpful or knowledgeable. Had to come in the next day to ask someone else simple questions. This was a slow time, employees should know how to extend stays and move guests. (I've workkamped) The location is pretty far from downtown Minneapolis. I don't enjoy paying businesses that have zero concern for customers. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

They can easily handle up to 45 feet. All campsites are paved and have water, 50 amp electric, and sewer (the sewer access is flush to the ground and easy to hook up). I just wish we had more time to spend... WiFi is good. A free shuttle is available. Bring one of those sewer rings to add to your right angle sewer adapter if that is the type of setup you use. If your coach needs a wash, they have a modern RV wash building on site. I've never been at an RV campground that had its own fuel area AND a large drive in building to wash the RV !!! I don't know how they do it in the Winter, but, they are open year round. The front office staff was very friendly and informative. AAA and FMCA discount available. At about $35 this was an incredible bargain for what we got in return. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Surrounding the campground area is the wonderful Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel with plenty of restaurants. Across the street is a golf course and tennis courts. Up the street is an ice skating rink and bowling alley. Shopping is nearby. Bring your tennis rackets, golf clubs, and ice skates if you do any of those activities.

Overall Rating:

VERY NICE campground! The park uses city water and water pressure is good. I measured 62 PSI at our site. Power was good and stable. 121v on both legs of 50 amp service. This is an adult destination campground. Dakotah Meadows RV Park is located adjacent to Mystic Lake Hotel and Casino. That being said the campground is family friendly. The campground is very clean and well maintained. Nice deep back-in sites. Pull troughs are located very close to each other. Pull through sites share the same utility hook ups. Hook ups are located between each RV. The right side of your RV faces the right side of your neighbor sharing the pull through. If you want privacy then you should consider a back-in site. Interior roads are in great condition and easy to navigate. Signage of where to park when registering is lacking. When you pull into the park you will see a building with 'Headquarters' on it directly in front of you. That is the campground office. Pull into the parking lot in front of Headquarters then pull in behind the RVs parked in the center and then park parallel to the gas pumps. The RVs parked in the center of the parking lot are paying $15 a day for storage. The park has free WiFi. I tried using using it without success. The WiFi was very erratic and unstable. There is a RV-Car Wash that is large enough for large RVs. The back portion was broken the week we were here and you could not wash your RV. IF the RV-Car Wash was working I would have rated this a 9. RV washing at your site is prohibited. The campground offers a playground, picnic pavilion and a storm shelter. The shelter remains locked until a sever weather advisory. There is no dog walk. There are trees here that can interfere with satellite reception. Our site (B4) has a tree that blocks reception of satellites 110 and 119 from Dish Network. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

A first class RV resort. Nicely landscaped, wide paved roads, a large pond and fountain, an RV gas pump and RV wash, concrete level sites and good utilities. The majority of the sites are side by side, not our favorite. Really tight on the utility side. Nice, grassy patio area with picnic table and shared barbeque grill. You're sharing the patio area with the site next to you but it's long and wide so you can still get some privacy. The back in sites on the top row are very nice. No side by side and your own large grassy patio area. Large, heavy trash receptacle at each side by side site; very handy but another obstacle to watch for when parking rig. Nice shade but satellite reception wasn't an issue. Very nice restrooms spread throughout the park. $5 deposit for the keycard to the restrooms but you only get $3 back. $2 service charge, which they don't tell you about because, well geez, didn't you see it in the fine print on the key card? Yeah, I make a point of reading a keycard. Service charge for what? Bad policy, leaves a bad taste. Office closes early, 4:00 p.m. Staff was o.k. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

We love this park! The sites are large, clean and beautiful. The gorgeous pond in the middle has a fountain which really adds to the ambiance. The wi-fi is excellent. Laundry room is nice. Many beautiful places on site to go for a walk. Right across from the casino which we did not go to, but would have gone to the buffet if we had more time. Staff were friendly. Good security on site. Access to fitness center for a small fee. We have stayed here before and would come again and again. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed a back-in site during our stay so space between the neighboring units wasn't an issue. I personally wouldn't want to stay multiple nights on their pull through sites as the are literally right next to each other (back to back with maybe 2 feet between slide-outs). The was a $5 deposit per key card for the restroom/laundry of which $3 is returned upon check out with the return of the card. There is a fuel station at the exit designed for RV use and actually had the best price for diesel during our stay. The showers, walking areas/sidewalks, laundry was immaculate throughout our week stay. This is a great park to stay at for easy access to Valley Fair Amusement Park and a short drive from Mall of America, Minneapolis, and Minnehaha Falls. Even though it sits in front of a casino, the park is very peaceful with guests observing quiet times, etc. A security patrol from the casino was seen daily in the park as well. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to sites and laid out well. The only negative is the back-to-back pull through sites. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is nice and convenient to doing activities on the south side of the MSP area, but the sites being side by side is not attractive to me. The back in sites are nice to get, but they all fill up fast. The price has went up in the last couple of years and I don't think that it is justifiable with there not much to do at the campground as far as kids activities. All the sites have water, electric, and sewer hookups. They also have a few teepees to stay in. A lot of road noise that you can hear overnight.
