This KOA was very nice. They had the standard KOA type amenities with a playground, pool, and mini golf. The sites were nice, spacious, and plenty of green. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. Our site (electric & water) sloped from rear to front, but did not prevent leveling. We needed an outside step for comfortable access to the door. Park was well kept. We would have preferred a full hookup site, but not many available. Overall, a nice park; not many options in the area. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

There are very few campgrounds providing access to the Twin Cities. (The maps and receipts list this as in Maple Grove, not Rogers.) This was a fine park, quite busy, but nice sites. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The KOA here was quite pleasant. Situated in one of the few remaining gaps between the many suburbs that make up the Minneapolis/St. Paul mega-city, it was quiet and restful, except for the occasional nearby train that I've come to take as a normal part of camping. The campground is spacious, with a comfortable mix of sun and shade. The gravel sites were just wide enough and long enough for my truck and trailer. I would definitely return to this campground if I come back to the Minneapolis area. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We came to area to visit grandkids for three weeks. There are very limited options since it is near the twin cities. The park is old with shared water and electric pedestals. Our water and electric were right by the door with sewer on the other side. Sites are decent sized. Roads are gravel. Pool is small and worn. There is a small dog park, a mini putt and a playground. The pros are location, location, location. It's located on a highway although road notice isn't bad. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful and even though it's an old park, it's very clean. Short drive to Minneapolis, St Paul, etc. So while it seems overpriced, it's a nice enough campground. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice KOA not our normal kind of place but was pleasantly surprised. Very clean and super friendly staff. They have a little dog run that was a nice addition. The hwy was close but the noise really wasn't an issue. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

Sites are close together and mostly shaded. Campground is clean and well maintained although slightly showing it's age. Staff is very good and courteous. The location is the best part of this CG, otherwise it wouldn't be worth more than $30 a night. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This Park is located approximately 4 or 5 miles off the Interstate in a very busy & growing area. With no fault of the staff, we camped there after much rain so the gravel streets and gravel sites were very muddy. Nonetheless, our site was level and didn't have any trees on it enabling us to access our satellite services. This would not be our preferred location for a future visit but would probably return if necessary. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

This park is the worst of all KOA's we have stayed at. Visually this park is very unappealing. The grass was long and lots of uneven grounds. The mosquitos were overwhelming. This place might be ok for a one nighter, but that's about it. Very aged and needs a new face lift. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Got lucky and booked on a last minute cancellation over memorial day long weekend a few hours before pulling in for the night. Friendly staff, convenient location to all the amenities of the city. Far enough from the interstate so noise is just local traffic. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

We arrived just as the office after the closing time but the office was still open. The staff warmly welcomed us, led us to our site but at our site, it turned out the electric and water were on the opposite side of the hook ups on our camper. Our electric cord did not reach but the staff member who was helping us, loaned us an extension cord. Unfortunately, we were on our own when it came to water and we had to buy another hose to help us finish the hook up. The site was large and level, the entire campground well maintained. Bathrooms were clean and monitored by the staff. This is our second time we stayed here. We camped here in a travel trailer for 4 nights and will happily stay here again. This is a nice campground with friendly staff. However, there were puddles of water when we arrived at our site and we had to put the truck on 4wd to park! Agree with other reviewers about muddy sites 65 and up. No wifi at our site #33. We were able to connect to Dish TV with the Tailgater. Book in advance for good sites. Typical KOA, set up for families with kids who come there to use the pool. Roads dusty and dirt/gravel pads made my rig even dirtier than it already was. Roads are fairly easy to navigate with a big rig. One big problem is that many of the sites have shared water and electric pedestals--meaning that some sites have the sewer on one side and the water on the other, which makes it hard to hook up water and almost impossible to rinse your dump hose after dumping unless you have a very, very long water hose. I found it easier to fill my tanks because the fill is on that side. I have enough electric cord to run it under my motorhome. A lot of trees, so nice for shade, but hard to get satellite signal. Good Verizon access, however. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

The park is gravel, but has areas that turn to mud in the rain. Site 65 and up can be a problem if it rains heavily. Sites are reasonably level but check it out before accepting it. Watch electrical hookups, may be on wrong side, shared poles and not all sites can provide 50 amp. If you want a satellite site reserve early. There is no cable at this park and with the trees the satellite sites are limited, even with a carry out. There are a fair number of over the air stations. This park could use a major electrical upgrade. Water pressure varied as well. The escort to the site did not tell us we had a shared electrical pole, which lead to some confusion when another camper arrived. It work out with them only needing 30 amp. The electric service was solid at 120v. at the camper. Wifi is better than most parks. There is a pool here and other games are provided. We camped here overnight in a 36 foot coach, and for a quick overnight it is fine. Would not want to have an extended stay here. Sites 1 to 14 may have a lot of road noise. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very busy campground. When I booked I made the mistake of reserving a site without a sewer hookup. Tried to change it when we arrived but no sewer sites were available. Our site was level and easy to get in and out of. Electric and water worked fine. No cable but plenty of OTA channels.
We arrived 2 days after the camp was hit by heavy t'storms with lots of damage to trees. They were working continuously to finish the clean up and were done before we checked out 2 days later.
A large park with all the typical KOA services. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
