Many permanents, which creates noise in the AM when they leave for work. Some units have a bit of junk around them. The park office closes mid-afternoon and after that the manager must be called. He apparently has another full-time job but is very helpful and cooperative. Utilities were good. This is not a destination resort but should serve very well for a day or week or more. This is a very urban setting for a park but it is close to the center of town. We felt quite safe here and would definitely stay here again because of it's central location. This is our third time at Lowry Grove and we'll definitely return. It's a good centrally located option which amazingly provides a good night's sleep. It's always a treat getting full hook-ups. The campsites are literally right next to each other with no trees or shrubs. We sure wish they would improve their tacky showers and bathrooms. This is not a Passport America park, but looks like one. Lots of permanent and full-time residents. Full hook up was good and showers are adequate. Great laundromat (closes at 9 p.m.). This park was hard to find, as it is in a central-city location (we weren't expecting it to be so urban). It is located in the NE section of the Minneapolis/St.Paul area in the "St.Vincent" district. People were very friendly. Had to call and wait for manager, but he finally arrived. $32.33 was a "discounted" rate, but too high in my opinion. I guess being so close to the city center dictates price. We camped at Lowry Grove RV Park in a Truck Camper.Undo

Having read but one review, we were skeptical of the high rating. After arriving we committed to one night and upped for another after my wife took ill and we needed the second night to recover. This is, as described by several of the long-term residents, a park, "In need of some serious upkeep." Definitely true ... That said, the showers and bathrooms were clean and the grounds moderately cared for. The only long-terms we encountered were very helpful and friendly and it was quiet at night. The sites available for travelers were gravel, mostly flat and all (that I could see) FHU with 50amp service with no breakers on the boxes. My 30 to 50 amp adapter came in handy. No issues with the electric, though. Water pressure was fine and the cell service was very strong for T-Mobile/AT&T. After driving around a bit, we got a DirecTV satellite signal. The odd part was the check-in ... We called and they told us the price was $40/night. I said thank you and we began to look for another park. I got a call about 30 minutes later from the park manager asking if we were going to be staying there. I told him that the price on RVParkReviews.com was $25 and that $40 was more than we wanted to spend, so he said he'd meet that price! He asked us to check in after 3 as he'd be gone till then. Upon arriving at 3:30 no one was in the office. After walking around the park a bit and meeting a long-terms who made several calls on our behalf, we were told to pick out a site and the same resident helped us get situated. We never did meet the manager, but did go in the following morning to pay for our two nights. We'd likely stay here again as it did seem reasonable (at $25) versus what else we found in the area. It is pretty much right in Minneapolis and close to the action. But a 10? Not in our experience. We camped at Lowry Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a trailer court that has several spots for RVs and trailers. It's a centrally located campground which was extremely convenient for us. There was no traffic or train noise. We slept extremely well here. In addition to bathrooms, they also had laundry available. The bathrooms were acceptable. One of the residents handled our payment and questions. He was very concerned that we were comfortable and satisfied. We never interacted with the real manager. We camped at Lowry Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
