You are on gravel in an asphalt parking lot. RVs are close together. You are escorted to your site. It is located behind a casino and they will pick you up and take you there or it is an easy walk. Food at the casino was very good and reasonably priced. There is a gas station that accommodates big rigs. Rooftop satellite worked well as did Verizon Wi-Fi. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visited the Red Wing Pottery factory and had a tour. You get a discount on pottery with your tour ticket. The Off Da store was also fun. We drove to St. Paul to visit James J Hill"s house. That is a great tour and quite reasonable.

This must be a typical casino RV Park, to which we're not accustomed. Per previous reports it is an extremely large parking lot with huge rigs and in the fall they fill up an area with monster boats. Two women helped me back in because cars are parked crazy. We counted at least 10-12 train whistles blowing and going by all hours of the day and morning. The first site in each row is actually on pavement in the driveway, which seems weird. Others have gravel. Thankfully, I was assigned a back in site with a fire pit, not sure if pull thru sites have fire pits. A beast to back in We had a blast at the new waterpark and swim up bar. George Benson came to the pool. Check in Woman was a bit abrupt. Man who showed me to site was excellent as was the gentleman who brought my wood to the site. We would stay here for the fun, but I would not want to be here more than 2 nights. People stay here for entertainment, so it meets more than basic needs with full hook ups and excellent bathrooms. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Once again (see my 7/16 review for more detail), this has been a good FHU park just off the Great River Road (U.S. 61) at a reasonable price. The laundry and bathrooms were fine. Most sites are satellite friendly. There are no recreational facilities in the RV park, but the casino hotel has a pool. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not much of an RV Park, basically a paved parking lot. No grass unless you walk over to the dog walk area. Only reason to stay here would be for the casino, which is why we stayed. Parking is very close together and you will need to unhook your tow vehicle. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here 8 days. Sites are close together but good access roads makes the park easy to navigate. No Cable TV, Wifi is so-so depending on time of day. Since this is next to a casino, it can be quite busy and somewhat noisy. Lots of train activity all night long and they are not shy about using their whistles. The people working here are very nice and try to be very accommodating. They worked around my schedule to get me an extra day, and we were grateful for that. No real amenities except for the casino (pretty smokey inside). We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Red Wing is 9 miles away and has a new WalMart, a Target, Menards (very nice) and assorted restaurants. Going to St Paul is a 45 mile drive but easily accessible (Mall of America) and The Conservatory/Zoo is worth seeing.

We stay at Treasure Island RV park several times each year. All sites are easy to access. The back in sites are very nice if you are having people join you for picnicking and games as they back up to a grassy area. The remaining sites are gravel with the roadways paved. If it does rain, there is no sinking of jacks. Personally we do not need activities for kids so we are good with being able to relax and sit outside. The train noise is not a bother to us, to some it might be. Excellent security for the park. The hosts have always been terrific. This park has the best shower, bathroom and laundry facilities of any park we have been to. They also provide shuttle service to the casino and marina if you want to go. There is a discount pass for the waterpark at the casino. Red Wing is only a short distance with lots of shopping, food and fun if you want it. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Once again, this has been a good overnight stop for us. We had a fairly level, weird (see my prior reviews) surface, pull through, FHU site. There is no cable TV but most sites (except for a handful of back in sites at the southern edge of the park) appear to be satellite friendly. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are large and clean. The laundry machines were fairly new and I believe there were 8 of them. The washers are the new front loaders and cost $2. The dryers were 25 cents for 10 minutes. The internet worked quite well until it started to get dark. Even then, it just got slow. There is nothing recreational in the park. I saw no recycling. Some folks may be unhappy that they may have to carry their garbage more than 100 yards to the dumpster in the northeast corner of the park. The staff members I encountered were helpful and friendly. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

It has been 3 years since our last stay here. My 2012 review describes the park and its' facilities. Again, we had a level, FHU, pull-through site that was half gravel and asphalt. Although there is no cable TV, most sites are satellite friendly. The laundry and bathrooms were fine. There are no recreational facilities in the park. I saw no sign of recycling. This is a good stop just off the Great River Road (US 61). We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

It was mainly a parking lot with FHU. A picnic table at every site. Did not use bathrooms, but a lot of campers did. A shuttle bus provided transportation round trip to Casino. It was not a bad park. Many campers were workers for the nuclear plant. Very clean campground, had to unhook trailer and place near tent sites across from our site. Not a good place for large dogs, because of the lack of a dog run. There was a very small dog walk. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

From Red Wing take Highway 61 and exit onto County 18 Blvd. Don't take County 19 Blvd. as it is very curvy and hilly. Park is basically a paved, parking lot with sites close together. WiFi was spotty. Sat TV was no problem. Verizon cell had 3 bars. Walking distance to casino and shuttle provided. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here 2 weekday nights in late August. The previous 3 reviews give good description of the park including the unusual sites (your RV will be partly on asphalt and partly on gravel). Utilities and Wi-Fi worked well. There were only about 20 rigs in the park during our stay, so the situation may be different with a fuller park. There is no cable TV, but there are some antenna channels. Because it is a "parking lot" type park, most sites are satellite friendly. Laundry has very modern machines (4 of each)and the bath facilities are clean. There is nothing in the RV park for kids, but RV customers do have access to the casino hotel's small indoor pool. The casino resort also has a marina on the Mississippi River. Unless you are traveling/touring the Great River Road (US61) or here for the casino, this park is too far off I-90 to be used as a convenient overnight stop. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Well, it was $23 a night. The restrooms and showers were very clean and the staff was friendly. However, there was no shade that we saw, gravel and blacktop sites only, and no Wi-Fi as far as we could tell. Keeping in mind this is an RV park for a casino, it makes sense that there aren't going to be amenities that lure you away from the tables. It gave us a place to plug in for the night, but it isn't a place I'd want to stay for any longer than that. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here a few times in the past. At checkin you get passes from office for laundry and restrooms. Both laundry and restrooms were very clean. Down side they just repaved the parking lost with hot tar and gravel. Small stones are picked u[p by your shoes and carried inside. So hot the tar is melting. Sites are pull to rather than pull through. Several rows of hookups that you pull to. Lots of room so if you want to stay hooked up that is not a problem. The restrooms and laundry require a card that you cam get from the casino shuttle driver. We were there on Sunday and the office is not staffed. Pulled into a spot and paid the next morning. Good hookups and pretty level. More than I like to pay but good sites. Some antenna channels and good free Wi-Fi. Verizon phones good. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
