Well laid out park, mostly gravel and gravel sites. Somewhat close to each other, but have stayed in worse. Extremely quiet place with almost no interaction with other campers. We had feeling that most commuted during weekend. Never talked to anyone nor had anyone walk by. We stayed 3 days and nights and enjoyed the sights of Minneapolis and other communities. Pleasant place but no character. Silly way to provide security into park after hours with need to get out of car and open manual gate lock. With hours 6 am to 6 pm it was somewhat of a hassle. Get a pass-key or something. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Patio was damaged and concrete was broken-damaged. Could be hazardous if not careful. Best way to spend a day is going to Stillwater, MN. Just a great place to casually wander through antique shops, food, ice cream, gift and art gallery, and pubs of all sizes and shapes.

The trolley tour of town is worth the time and money. Also the noon tour and lunch of the harbor with a paddle wheel boat. I'd go again it was so pleasant and entertaining.

A quiet, clean park very convenient to St Paul and local big box stores. The front paved entrance is very attractive with shrubs, planting and flowers. The owners and staff were very nice. The campground area is mostly a gravel parking lot with thin strips of grass and a tree between sites. The pull-through area is on a slope so the sites and picnic table are not very level. No cable but I was able to position my RV on the short pull-through site to get satellite access. A nice pool and large playground area. I was close to the office so the Wi-Fi was very good and I could even stream Netflix. This KOA does not pick up trash. They have a manual security swing gate that is closed at 6PM, which was somewhat of a hassle returning to the park in the evening. The daily fee is on the high side for the park's amenities. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had reserved a 50A full hookup site for a week, months in advance. When we were escorted to our site, we tried to use the 50A electrical hookup but it kept tripping our surge protector, indicating something was wrong with the 50A. We hooked up to the 30A and it was OK, but this is not enough to power our A/C's, etc, and we had specifically reserved a 50A site! We notified the office and they sent out the same person who had escorted us to our site. When we described the problem, he said it was our equipment that was the problem. When we showed him that everything worked on the 30A connection, he said if we did not like it, they would refund our money and we could leave. We asked if we could move to a different site and he said there were none available....that they had people waiting at Wal-Mart to camp here. Not very customer friendly. He did go tell the office about our problem, and they tried to fix the problem but the next day it did the same thing. We decided to make the best of it even though they would not give us any discount or refund on a site which was not what we reserved. There is a $5/ night difference in 50A vs 30A W/E sites, but they said this did not apply to FHU sites even though we only had 30A power available. We did not use any of their amenities because we did not want to be any more disappointed than we already were. We will not camp here again! We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel road, level grass/gravel site, table. Great walking/dog trails through development and around the lake. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure you visit Stillwater and take the trolley tour.

Had a pull through Water & Electric site for $45 plus $3 tax. For that we got a site that was barely long enough for coach and tow car. WIFI available only at the office, so it really isn't included with your site. No cable TV offered. Electric worked well, but water pressure low. Our satellite dish is on the front of our coach, so we were able to pick up satellite by just barely missing the tree next to us. Many in the park were not so lucky. Attendant who checked us in did so with attitude. I let it slide for a one night stay. When I come back, I'll go to Apple Valley where there is a very nice full service park. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

You don't get much for your money. For $45+ you would expect working Wi-Fi at your site and cable TV. You get neither. Also, we were surprised by the reviews that said the owners were friendly. When we came into the office on our 3rd day they didn't even say hello. Very clean park and quiet if you aren't right along the road but we've stayed in much nicer RV parks that didn't cost nearly as much. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was an immaculate park! Owners were nice, park so clean you could eat off the floor in the laundry room! Huge playground. Well-managed, safe and secure. Owners/operators live at front entrance gate and monitor it! Nothing junky or out of place. Gravel sites, level. The only reason we gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is that the WiFi was iffy: only worked half of the time we were there. We thought the price was a little steep but everything in the area was expensive; however, we would stay stay here again. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is easy to get too from I-94. They close the gate at 6 PM so it's best to arrive before this time. The gate is not locked but your rig will hang out on the road while you open the it. The owners are very friendly and provided us lots of tourist information and directions. Our Verizon phones, hot spot and Dish Tailgater all worked well. The roads and pads are gravel and fairly level. The sites are adequate but not large. We complained about the low water pressure and maintenance came right away but said it was okay. We have never been in a campground with that low of water pressure. The restrooms were updated and clean. Plenty of shopping nearby with WalMart, Sams, Cabela's, and many dining choices. We believe it's a little overpriced but it is very close to MSP. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This camp site showed "pride of ownership". Very clean and well taken care of. They went out of their way to help us check in when we showed up 1 day early. This campground closes their gates at 6pm. Campers can come and go as they please, but they have to open and close the gate for themselves. Not the most convenient, however it does make you feel very safe in the campground at night. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the cleanest parks I have ever stayed in. Yes, the sites are tight, but you can't beat the location for easy access to the twin cities. Lots of nearby shopping. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

I can not say much more than has all ready been said in other reviews. Staff was friendly and helpful. The roads are gravel, the sites are rock and gravel and there is little or no grass. Our site had a level pad for the trailer wheels but rest of site was sloped. It was 18 inches to the first step on on trailer. Wi-Fi is available only near the office and it was very slow. Lots of nice stores nearby including a Walmart. Not sorry we stayed here but will not return. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice family friendly staff. I first contacted them a week out for a Labor Day reservation & had been turned down (one of many campgrounds in the area). A few days later they called me and said they had a cancellation & if I still wanted a site, one was now available, I took it! The sites are VERY tight, one right up next to each other, as close as possible, row after row, all gravel with trees for shade and separation. They say WiFi & TV, but not really. The WiFi, you would have to be sitting at or around the office and the TV is with a good antenna & probably the same, and not worth the trouble...all this for $50! If we hadn't been strapped for the holiday, we wouldn't have stayed here for the price. On the plus side...a Walmart was just down the street! We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

A nice enough park from which to tour and visit the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of grass and trees. Couldn't get satellite TV or radio. Verizon was 3G only. The gate system was taking security beyond necessary. Traffic noise from I-94 was noticeable. Close to services in Woodbury. It met our needs. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is only average at best. It's an old KOA with a pool and such but no hot tub, and the Internet only works if your right next to the office. The rate for overnight is way too high for what you are getting. Yes, they have showers and laundry. Just not very impressed for a park that thinks they should get $43 for parking overnight. Also the old lady at the counter talked on and on with the folks in front of me for over 20 minutes while I waited about where they're going next and when they're next doctors appointment would be, all while I stand there waiting. Next time I'll boondock at the Wal-Mart; it's only a mile away. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate stated is for full hookups including tax. The people here are very friendly, electric and sewer worked fine, but the water pressure was very low. They do have Wi-Fi, but it only works near the office, and the Verizon signal was not strong enough to use for Internet access. Since we are full-time RVers this was not acceptable. The park is all gravel roads, dusty, with very little grass or shade, at least in the pull through site we were given. There are some nicer back in sites on the perimeter that might be much more pleasant. We will try another park in the area when we come by next year. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.
