6 Parks near Belden, Mississippi
Oct 2016 - $21.00
We were looking for a campground in the area to break up a long drive. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed here on a weeknight in October.
This is a small, pleasant campground. There are 4 different areas, we stayed in Deer Run. There were several sites on Trace Lake with nice views. There is space between the sites and most have shade. Verizon and ATT coverage were ok. - dsvt
Oct 2016 - $18.00
Great well spaced sites. Looks like every site had a view of the lake. We stayed at site 26 and had two trailheads at our door. We stayed one night on our way through to Florida. There didn't seem to be a gate they closed at night. Only complaints are minor for a one night stay. No Wi-Fi and kids playground was not within walking distance of the campsites. We would stay here again. - Darthall
Aug 2016 - $15.00
Very beautiful campground, each site was very spacious, the campground were divided into 2 section, we camped in Warrior camp site, very good area for walking and hiking. We will return to this campground if we go to Tupelo MS again. - dije1208
Oct 2016 - $39.00
Many of the previous reviews have adequately captured this campground. This campground ONLY accepts cash or checks! They have a couple of stacked pull-thrus. I was in Site 9 with another RV directly in front of me in site 10. Luckily, he pulled out right before I did or I would of had to back out of the site. Mostly long-term campers. I had to disconnect to level my trailer front to back. - jnateg
Oct 2016 - $35.00
This park is close to restaurants and activities and is visually pleasant. There are plenty of trees. My only complaint is that our site was not very level...both back to front and left to right. The cable reception and Wi-Fi were good. - jconnally
Sep 2016 - $35.00
It was a nice park. Like a lot of private parks, the sites were only as big as necessary. I didn't mind the chat surface, much rather have that then dirt or mud. Pleasant stay. Had cable TV. Best wifi service we have had from a private park. - Ila
May 2016 - $15.00
Loved the site, lots of room, but leveling needed. We were able to get many Tupelo TV channels. We followed the GPS to the park and came in the "back way." Very pretty lake and nice walking trails. close to the Natchez-Trace. Big sign posted "No Alcohol." - dalebonnie
Apr 2016 - $15.00
Quiet and clean State Park. The 50 amp kept blowing our surge protector so we had to use 30 amp. Nice location if you want to explore Tupelo. Lot spacing was nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel, featuring a fire-ring, picnic table and patio. - rolling homeless
Apr 2016 - $15.00
We stayed here on both ends of our trip on the Natchez Trace Parkway. All sites are full hookup. Some were too short for our 25' trailer plus pickup, but several were long enough. All were a good width, site 3 is extra-wide. Sites are close to level but not perfect. We called park personnel for a reservation and they took CC info over the phone, no need to go to the office. All sites have full hook-ups, and are a great bargain at this price!
Water pressure and electric voltage were good. Verizon service was 1 or 2 bars only, switching back and forth between 3G & 4G.
Sites are a decent size & distance apart. We never saw a camp host, although there is a site for one. There is a nice playground for children. - coolmom42
Sep 2016 - $17.00
We stayed overnight and the pullthru (#4) was easy to access and accommodated us very well. It provided some lovely shade on a super hot day. There was an extra charge for sewer - either to dump or use at site so may as well ask for a full hookup. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed our respite from the road here. Lots of workers who leave early but more power to them - great to have a job! Pool was looking a little green around the edges and laundry room was a bit rustic. We didn't use either but I always appreciate an honor system laundry - so much easier than hauling around a bunch of coins. - Djinfl
Aug 2016 - $14.00
Overnight here. Was very peaceful.
Sites are gravel with a sunny/open exposure. Clean. Not as level as I thought. Pull through site was long enough for my rig and tow vehicle, did not have to unhook. - Madjack
Jul 2016 - $24.00
The owners were friendly upon arrival. Easy access into the camp, nice wide entrance road. The camp is very well kept, the permanent sites are clean. There are two ponds with a family of Geese that add to the charm of this place. Very quiet. Most lots are about average size, with the spacing a little close on some. Ask for spot 5, it is the best one. Your door opens to a large grassy area with no neighbor on that side. Lots of trees for shade and with the 100-degree temps we were thankful for that. Sites are gravel, but level and include a picnic table. Water pressure was good and we had 50 amp with sewer hookup. Long enough for our 37-foot RV and tow-dolly. There is no WiFi (would have gave 5 stars except for this) and our Verizon service had 3-bars at best, but our hotspot worked okay. The laundry room is a small log cabin that is a little dusty, with only one of each machine, so don't leave a lot of laundry to do here. You pay on the honor system, they are not coin machines. There is a nice nature trail and they have a small pool, but only a couple of chairs around it. They accept both Good Sam and Pass Port America, but we paid the weekly rate of 23.58 a night. We stayed July 4-11, 2016. You are 7-miles south of Tupelo, birthplace of Elvis, if you are eating out go to Kermit's Outlaw Restaurant, great farm to table food. - BarrettsHappyTrails
Oct 2014 - $13.00
Small campground with narrow road, but good visibility electric and water. No Wifi. Very quiet and unexpectedly full. Some sites are short and have a steep drop off. Good view from our site. - winnie1
Apr 2014 - $10.00
This Campground was just what we wanted. We had a nice spot right on the lake. Sight was level, showers and bathrooms were clean. Laundry facility available. View was nice and the campground was quiet. We will be back here at some point to spend a few relaxing days. Great spot when traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway. - Pamela & Gerald
Apr 2014 - $20.00
What a nice surprise, we were traveling north on the Natchez Trace, and stopped here for the night. Very nice sites, asphalt pads mostly level, some were short, but there were plenty for our 36' rig. Sites were large gravel patio areas, with fire rings, picnic tables, lantern hook, and grills. Only one concern: The way we came in just before the left turn into the campground is a bridge with a 19,000 lbs weight limit. We went across both coming and going, but if there is another way to get in I would take it. - SJake
Oct 2016 - $11.00
We've stayed here before and enjoyed it, as always. There are only a couple of pull-throughs that our 45 ft bus will fit in -site 42 was perfect for us, and incredibly, the satellite worked!
Folks are nice here, and Fulton is a nice little town. a great place to stop for a day or three! - MerBee
Jul 2016 - $12.00
Yet another of our beautiful COE parks. We only stayed overnight but it was a beautiful site and we will return again. - tommyg
Jun 2016 - $12.00
Site was a long, level back-in in the woods, a short walk from the river. Interior roads were asphalt paved and in good condition.
We will probably return for a longer stay when we don't have long range travel plans. - Alworth
