10 Parks near Biloxi, Mississippi
Mar 2016 - $29.00
A parking lot with hookups. No amenities, not even an office. Check-in is at the casino across the street, and they barely knew what to do. They couldn't find our reservation, called another facility, found the reservation, didn't assign us a site, didn't know what to do with the site assignment paperwork. We had two reservations - here and their sister park at Hollywood casino in Bay St. Louis. At Boomtown, they "found" our reservation, but then cancelled our second one without telling us (the folks at Hollywood recovered nicely the next week though). Overall - don't stop in Biloxi as an RV'er. - Neil_and_Sandy
Feb 2016 - $29.00
This campground is a converted, very large parking lot. It is very clean with large concrete pads and all sites have full hookups including cable TV and WiFi. If you plan to camp here, you definitely need a bathroom in your camper. No facilities at all. Location of the facility is easy to find off the interstate. If they offer you a pull through site, be advised that these sites are two sites each and you might have to back in. Casino security monitors the campground but you rarely see them. Overall, a great alternative to spending $200 a night for hotel rooms in Biloxi. No campfires allowed. - F35mech
Dec 2015 - $37.00
This place advertises $29/night but adds on a "resort fee" and tax to make it $36.75. The "resort" does not have a restroom or shower or anything other than a very good concrete pad with full hookups. There is an entrance and an exit with gate arms and a keypad to enter a code, but the arms were up the whole time we were there. There is one of those building on stilts for security or a manager but it was unoccupied the whole time. Be careful when you call to reserve your spot. This is a casino RV park, but the reservation taker is at a different casino which also has an RV park. We were told there were restrooms and showers, but they are at the other RV park. The Wi-Fi access code they gave us was for the other RV park. It took four calls to figure out the problem. The park itself is very clean, just no on site management. - dropframe
Apr 2016 - $38.00
Very clean, centrally located RV park. Park itself is well maintained. The bathhouse is clean and kept up, laundry facilities are good with plenty of washers and dryers ($2.50 washer, $1.75 dryer). There is a nice playground if you have kids, good little dog park if you have doggies and a sand volleyball court. Covered areas with picnic tables, rocking chairs and a corn hole game. There are trains that go by multiple times in a 24 hour period. The tracks are right behind the park and there are multiple cross roads so the train whistles are sounding off and it's quite loud. We got used to it after a few days/nights.
Sites in the middle get muddy and puddle up quite a bit when there is rain. Sites closest to office and road have more gravel and seemed to have handled the rain better.
This park is located right off Beach Blvd so the beach is across the street but you have to walk across 4 lanes of traffic.
Gulfport/Biloxi Airport is 20 minutes away and New Orleans is 1 1/2 hours away. We would definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area. - Katceg
Mar 2016 - $45.00
Right across the boulevard from the Gulf. We had a pull through with 50 amp and full hookup. You can hear trains. Park is clean and well maintained and if your rig is older than 10 years they have to approve it before you can be given a site. We were on gravel but all roads are blacktop. - rolling homeless
Mar 2016 - $49.00
We returned home from Florida after a problematic (to say the least) RV trip last night, and I can say the truest brightest spot of our trip was the Cajun RV resort. We were supposed to be there for just one night traveling through Florida, the panhandle and into Louisiana-Texas for Spring Break , but had problems with our brand new Thor Palazzo coach and never left Cajun RV until Gary from Biloxi mobile RV was able to close up our slides so we could drive home. They never blinked when we told them we were unable to leave, not a peep about needing our spot, they and the folks staying there were the sweetest nicest most considerate people we have every met camping. They tolerated our dogs who are new to traveling, us who were new to RVing and I hope the owners, the people staying there read this and know how grateful we are to how they treated our family. We will never forget it. - newrvttraveler
Sep 2015 - $36.00
Park looks real nice but the issues are endless. Breaker boxes not properly working; we had to plug in next to us due to the breaker box at our site blew the breaker and sent a surge through our motorhome!!! We reported it to maintenance, management with no response which is unacceptable. If they dont care about the guest camper what else do they not take care of?! The pool wasn't open when we first arrived. Finally in July it opened only to not be taken care of. Present state the pool is green!! No laundromat! ! New washers and dryers but not in use which probably goes back to the electrical problems. Trying to talk to the manager is like pulling teeth!! She has no personality nor will she speak to you as she goes by. No one staying there is friendly. I have never stayed anywhere that when u wave they ignore you!! A few long term residents and unfriendly. I would have to say this is the most unfriendly place I have been in a long time!! We stayed a couple months and the changes they promised never happened! ! And the trains are constant!! There are much nicer places on the coast to stay!! - Ggboo
Jul 2015 - $40.00
We stayed at Fox's over the 4th of July Weekend. Location is awesome, it's walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico beach. Nice cement slab for parking. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The pool was clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back. - Anne14
Jan 2014 - $25.00
We are spending a month here. We stayed here when the original owners had the park and came back shortly after Katrina to find the park had really declined with the new owners. We decided to try again this year and are pleased. It appears the new management is trying to clean up the appearance. They are on top of all maintenance issues and respond to all problems in a polite, professional, and efficient manner. The laundry room is clean and well maintained. They work to keep the park safe, monitoring the traffic. They still have a few work trucks and poorly maintained campers, but appear to be cleaning that up and upgrading. We believe they are back on the path to being a premier destination park in the future. - Gloriasue99
Apr 2016 - $45.00
I love this RV park, we stay here through winter. There are two things I really don't like, the wifi and the cable tv!!
We haven't had WiFi since we came in November and many cable tv channels don't work.
The staff are all very nice and Saturday lunches are nice but WiFi is frustrating!!!
I will come again, we like all the cement in the park, but we need to find a different WiFi option. - KS0923
Apr 2016 - $47.00
At first we thought we were in the wrong neighborhood, not a safe looking area, but when we approached the the park the entrance was very impressive. Our site was a back in which was good because our RV is only 24' All sites are concrete and very level, good cable and wifi. Considering a RR nearby and the AF base, noise was minimal. Coud have used a little more shade. - Arnold Tobias
Feb 2016 - $49.00
The park itself seems nice enough and was almost completely full both nights we were here. The sites are level and paved. The roads are paved as well. The sites are tight. There is a spot for a truck but it takes up most of the sitting space and you can't open one door because of shrubs.
WiFi worked but was very slow. Cable came in kind of fuzzy on many of the stations.
Campers were close but still somewhat private.
We would probably stay again. - John Borajkiewicz
Mar 2016 - $22.00
When you pull in, there are very nice cabins, a putt-putt, pool, hot tub, a nice playground and lake. The office lady was VERY nice and then you pull out to enter the campground. When you make the turn into the actual campground you see cluttered, old campers with junk all around them. It looked like 90% are long term residents and the spaces are paved but close. We were sent to the back section across from an old camper graveyard slophole and 2 dumpsters, what a lovely view! This could be a very nice campground if the permanent rift-raft were made to clean up and remove the freezers and junk from outside their campers. Will never stay here again and do NOT recommend it.
Lot spacing was very close with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad. - Countrygal1
Mar 2016 - $22.00
Passport rate. I called ahead and got the pull thru site. Sites are close together but okay for a night or two. Convenient to I-10 so there is a bit of interstate noise. Pull thru site view is of the storage lot with old, damaged units and close to dumpster. But it works for a quick stopover when traveling. We would stay here again. - lstaff
Jul 2015 - $22.00
Primarily permanent rigs and many not in the best of shape. Used to be a nice park as we had often visited years ago. The wifi was excellent, surroundings not so much. Will not return unless things change. - Part timers
Jan 2016 - $30.00
Long level sites. Paved with grass. Picnic Table. Great service. Will use again. Easy access. Some mud due to rains. We're in a large 40' + 25' trailer and had no issues. - sballey
Oct 2015 - $40.00
The park is well maintained, the shower houses are cleaned several times a day. The manager is very nice and runs the park proficient. They have 3 shower houses and 2 laundromats on property. I would recommend this park to everyone. - Ggboo
Aug 2015 - $30.00
I was having service done at a Freightliner service center which is located about 1/4 mile up the street. So this was a convenient place for me to camp. For the price, it was pretty basic. I had a nice long pull through site with full hookups and cable TV. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have a small store on site with camping needs and some food. Probably not a place I'd go to vacation, but if you need to be nearby then it will work. - Tri14Multisport
May 2015 - $29.00
Nice park for short stay. No shade on sites, but very clean. Men's bathroom could be challenging. - MikeandNancy
Mar 2015 - $29.00
We stayed 3 nights in early March. It was cool and rainy. We stayed here primarily because we thought it would be easily accessible from I-10. First the good. The campground owner was very accommodating. We did not arrive until after dark due to tire issues. We spoke to the owners several times during the day/evening. They told us our site number and came to the RV the next morning to register us. The rest is bad. Although the exit off I-10 is easy, you wind up going down a dark narrow dead end road with very little indication of where the park may be. After finally locating the park, my wife had to walk along with a flashlight to find our site. We had a pull-through site that was several inches off level. We were never able to get level. All sites are gravel. Apparently our site was a designated smoking area as well, because the next morning we found hundreds of cigarette butts on our site. Also the park was muddy due to the rain. There were numerous puddles of water on our site and throughout the park. There seemed to be a lot of long term residents. There was lots of clutter around the sites. If in this area again, we would look elsewhere for a place to stay. - Charlie C
Nov 2014 - $29.00
This park has many pull through full hookup sites. Also a good number of sites are taken by workers in the area for long periods of time. Restrooms and showers were very good and clean. Owners were very helpful and accessible. This is not a destination campground, great for a night or two for exploring the area. - Teacher's Pet
Mar 2016 - $30.00
Pull-through sites are large and big rig friendly. Complete hookups. Shopping nearby. No trees. Gravel sites with picnic tables. Very clean and friendly. Laundry on site. Close to interstate 10.
I highly recommend and would gladly stay again. - Spwa
Mar 2016 - $35.00
This is an older park, we stayed overnight and had good power, water was 52psi, cable was a bit snowy, antenna was better and Wi-Fi was with Tengo slow and did cut in and out and a bit tricky to sign into. Sites are level concrete with a patio. Lot's of trees, this could be a great park, but it needs some work, great for overnight as it's right off I-10 with little road noise. - Traveler II
Mar 2016 - $35.00
Sites have concrete pads and patios (with picnic tables). On many pads, the concrete is broken, and therefore not level. Cable is analog, and the signal is poor, very snowy. TV from an antenna provides beautiful digital image. WiFi is through Tengo Internet, and is SLOW and intermittent. - ta96silver
May 2015 - $33.00
We were here for just 2 nights to visit the area on our way to New Orleans. Nothing special about this place, but it is a short ride to Biloxi and the rates are much lower than the parks in town.
Our site was a pull through and was long enough for our truck and 38ft trailer if we didn't want to unhook. The park is fairly well kept and clean and relatively quiet. There is an RV dealer across the road, but they are more sales oriented. The "store part" is small with a limited selection of items.
We would stay here again if in the area. - Mack & Mary Ellen
Mar 2016 - $32.00
Excellent location on Beach Boulevard. Great showers and laundry, attentive friendly helpful staff. Excellent manager. Office open 9-5 7 days a week. Garbage picked up in front of your site by 10 each morning. Good WiFi, and cable box available for refundable deposit. Will definitely stay again. Take a "white noise radio" to sleep through the sirens on Beach Boulevard and the frequent trains close by at the back of the property. Stayed two weeks. - Clemson Fans
Jan 2012 - $32.00
Dirty and the sites are not well laid out. Many, many full time residents. Trashy looking. We were sticking out into the roadway. They could not accommodate the size of our 40 foot rig. We paid for 5 days then found another place. They would not refund our money. - Newbet
Nov 2011 - $31.00
First week of stay we discovered management problems with employees. Very poor management never keep advertised office hours. Very difficult to contact with problems. Every other hookup was on the wrong sides. Outdated electrical plug ins. Tent people living in back. Witness excessive use of alcohol of tent people. Nightly parties way past curfew times. Homeless people breaking through back gate to shower. Frequent visits by local police due to suspected drug use. Men and women's shower room share the same pass code, that we were told had been the same for more than two years. Manager's space across from office now occupied by "new" managers, (third ones since our stay) in an extremely old camper with home window unit sticking out the side. Also heavy drinkers and suspicion of drug (crack) use. Felt very unsafe: no place for children. Worse campground in Biloxi. For your safety PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!! So very sad to give the beautiful town and beachs of Biloxi such a bad name. - 1766 unhappy camper
