We stayed one night in spot N3, which is on the water. The pads are concrete and very wide. It will accommodate your camper and all your chairs/rug. It seems that at least half the park are longtime residents as we saw many travel trailers with real lawn furniture and attached wooden porches. There is a nice big laundry with plenty machines. Most sites have at least some shade, if not completely shaded. They paved the roads and some have a very big drop- of. We had to pass up our first choice spot because we couldn't back the camper in without running the risk of slipping the truck off the pavement. Grocery store and gas station are across the street. There is also a tennis court and a basketball court. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice wide paved sites, some back-in, some pull thru. We were in the newer section. Each site had a grill, picnic table and room to park additional vehicles. The pool was very nice. Although the laundry room had older machines, it was spacious. The area was upscale with lots of restaurants and shopping. There is a strict "no alcohol" rule which we find unreasonable as it discourages interaction with the neighbors. But otherwise, a very nice park. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

My site was level and spacious with a good view of the Ross Barnett Reservoir. The park is close to grocery stores and restaurants. A nice, long, paved bike trail is located just outside the park. Timberlake has a nice but small swimming pool and tennis courts. Lots of recreational opportunities. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were driving the Natchez Trace first of June, 2017 and ended up taking a chance getting a spot at Timberlake after-hours (no reservation). We were in a 25' Motorhome, so were flexible with our site selection. We drove around a bit before selecting an interior spot that seemed fairly level. The park was pretty full. The roads somewhat confusing to navigate and had we been pulling our tow vehicle or driving a big Class A, I imagine there would have been some pretty tight spots. The site we selected had tall trees with a dirt pad. There are sites along the reservoir, but all of those were taken by folks who looked either permanent or who were staying awhile. It appeared many of the RVers were there for the water sports. We had our dogs and it was a nice park to walk around. There is a fenced in tennis court with a basketball goal and we fiddled around in there late at night and were able to let our stir crazy dogs run off some steam. That was great, although we wouldn't have done that had there been anyone on the courts. Aside from electric and water, we didn't take advantage of the facilities as this was more of an overnight for us. The next morning, we went to pay and the woman was frustrated with a new computer system...thankfully I had some cash and paid her $25, which made her quite happy as she didn't have to deal with trying to figure out the cc payment system...apparently that is her son's thing. It is a lovely park. I'd certainly stay here again if passing through the area. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

A large, very nice park right on the Ross Barnett Reservoir. There are many seasonal campers, but plenty of sites for short stays. We chose a site right on the water front, and were rewarded with beautiful sunsets from the picnic table. The long concrete pad was not completely level, but all the hook ups were very accessible. There are many amenities in the park: boat ramp, pool, tennis and basketball courts, and grocery stores and restaurants very near by. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at the park for 2 nights on our way north from the Rio Grande Valley. We stayed in the "new section" on a concrete back in site, that was wide enough to park two Rvs on. Everything we saw was well maintained and well laid out. My cousin lives close by, so we were introduced to the area and found it to be very nice. Being on Ross Barnett Lake I'm sure spots are hard to find in the summer, plus there are a sizable number of seasonal spots. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very large park on the Ross Barnett Reservoir, very close to the Natchez Trace. Get directions & don't follow your GPS! Host at check in is so nice & helped us when we got lost. There are a lot of seasonal campers here, but we didn't have a reservation & had no trouble getting a spot. We aren't in the newest area, but it's somewhat new. This area has concrete pads & the sites are very spacious. We aren't on the water, but they do have some sites that are. Our only complaint would be the roads in the campground. They're quite hard to maneuver & we actually ended up in a ditch trying to turn on our street. I thought we were going to have to be towed out, but some wonderful campers helped my husband get out of it. So BE VERY CAREFUL & get out of your vehicle & check the turn before you make it. Otherwise, this place is great! We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

Better than most really urban camps. Set in forest of large pines, it is shady everywhere. Most of the sites have very long term residents. Interior roads are paved but broken many places by tree roots. Sites are packed closely. All sites have concrete pads. We were in a newer section by the lake with a view that was exceptional. WiFi was based on the office and had no reliability for those of us in the rear slips. We stayed a week and would do it again. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

Big rig friendly with concrete level pads. Roads are confusing in the campground until you get used to them. No dog park but several grass fields to walk dog. Laundry was good. Showers were small and old. Easy to ride bicycle in campground. Swimming pool was closed due to the season. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This was a return visit after several years. Although a pretty location, the area we were in seemed to have deteriorated since our last stay.

Concrete pads were cracked, crumbling, and unlevel. The sewer connection was broken, and we needed to literally hold the fixture in place to dump waste water. Trees have grown larger and the satellite did not work. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The folks in the office were very pleasant - no problems there. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground looks good up front and the drive through the park to the site looks fair but if you are accustom to using the camp restrooms stay beware. I walked to three locations trying to find a decent shower, there were none. The best one is near the office and if I had gone there first instead of last I would not have used it either. Showers are too small and there is NO privacy curtain for a changing area. The floor floods outside the shower area floods so you are standing in water to change clothes. The site had a concrete pad but was not level and is collapsing near the hookup. The top is broken off the sewer hookup, so I did not dump tanks at the site for fear of an over flow and it appeared there had been a spill from a previous camper. Nice buildings up front and a nice pool and a new bath house near the pool that was not completed yet. Money is being spent for new construction without repairs or maintenance for existing facilities. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Timberlake resort one night in December 2015 in our 34 foot fifth wheel. We arrived after dark, so it was a bit tricky to find the park and also to find an open site. Our site was a back-in, which was no problem, even after dark. Because it was dark when we arrived and very early when we left, we didn't really experience the campground. It was fine for our overnight stay. The campground was an estimated 8 to 10 miles from interstate 55. Pets are welcome. Our site was right by the reservoir. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a lovely campground on the outskirts of Jackson. Sites are well-spaced with concrete pads. Most are under tall pine trees, and some are on the water (Ross Barnett Reservoir). The rate noted includes a $5 upcharge for a waterfront site. I've given this park a "9" rating because I try to reserve "10" for perfection or close to it. The restrooms here need updating, a coat of paint, and a scrub-down. The fixtures were clean enough, but there were lots of cobwebs, dead bugs, peeling paint and some rust throughout. The concrete pads are wide, but some are not level. The park is about evenly divided between monthly and overnight guests, but only a few sites can be reserved--most are on a first-come, first-served basis. No pull-through sites and no ground fires permitted, but sites all have grills. We would definitely return here if we're ever in the Jackson area again. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The pads that we had to choose from were busted up and broken. They were unlevel. The grass was all muddy and had ruts in it. There are better sites than other. There are many many many permanent residents here. The residents are nice and well maintained. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Travel Trailer.
