Quick Lay out: Lower level sites 1-12 at lake level, sites close together for FS CG. Sites pretty level. Sites 13-22 more spread out, some not close to level, location of the only pull through site. Only some sites will fit big rigs. Roads paved as are sites. Steep roads down to CG but easy to maneuver around. Some sites might be hard to get into. Only some sites will handle a 45' coach. Specifics: Site paved with large gravel patio, picnic table, fire ring lantern posts. Dump station on the way out. Power 20/30/50 amp with water. Bathrooms and showers spotless, showers are push button that run pretty long, water was warm to hot with good pressure. Our site,19,was pretty level with great view of lake. Verizon phone ok, Mifi slow 3G at camp sometimes up the hill by host site ok 4G. No host at this time. There is fishing and non motorized boating on the small lake (electric motor ok). Lots of trails for hiking/mountain biking in the area 10+ mile loops or out and back all from camp ground area. Come fully supplied, the closest grocery stores are in Natchez (30+) miles away. The CG was full on the weekend but pretty open during the week. All sites are 1st come. We'd stay here again if we're in the area. - pumper9x9

This is a beautiful park with three sections; an "Upper Loop", a smaller "Lower Loop", and a primitive area. The campsites in the Lower Loop have asphalt paved parking lanes with spacious gravel areas, a fire ring and a picnic table. The parking lanes are short and the sites are close together. The more desirable Upper Loop was closed for electrical repairs. The park host was very helpful and made frequent trips around the area to ensure everything was clean and proper. We stayed at Clear Springs on a holiday weekend and all the sites were full. - StJohn

We thought we might want to stay in the unserviced area, but after seeing the terraced campsites with a view of the lake we couldn't resist. Pretty as a picture. Clean and quiet too. The showers were hot and free. The trails could use some new markings, but we didn't get lost or have to turn around. The primitive area is outside the main gate. There is no water available there, but the sites are far apart and the road (graveled) is in good condition. They go for $7.00 per night. - GiroRV

Sites are not level, neighbors are extremely close and fight very loudly day and night. We didn't even get a picnic table at our site. They also burn piles of leaves right in the road which creates a lot of unpleasant smoke (not to mention weird and dangerous). There's almost nothing to do in the area, no trails to walk, very limited restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The lady manager is Very rude to boot. Spend your money elsewhere. - Hana_Rose

First, I'm not a high class camper. We don't stay at resorts or concrete jungles. We love the woods and bugs. We just made a 1 1/2 hour ride here. It's small, which we are OK with, but was full of permanent campers. There was only one open spot someone was just backing into. The rest look like full timers. The campers there look like they been there for years. Not a good place to walk your dog or much for kids. Just a place to live. There is plenty of shade with all the trees, and I have no doubt that the owners are nice and friendly. We would stay here if it was more like a campground than a permanent resident. If I had to stay here for work I would, but I do not consider this a camp ground. - lovegun

The campsites are very narrow and crowded with parked cars and obstacles, one stall bathroom with cracked seat that pinched.
Wet floors, office not open till 10:15 am. When I called the owner to open and give me a check out receipt, I received an angry criticism from her for being disturbed. - Beverly Spuckler
