Great park if you are self contained. Good power/water, paved sites in about 1/4 of the total 400 Sites. Some have sewer as well. Recently cleaned up & many of the older/trashy full time units are gone. (Thank you). Nice area to walk, many day use visitors, some full timers and very friendly. Would stay here again. This campground was sufficient for one night in the area and the price was definitely night. It is close to downtown; about 2 miles. Seems to be a lot of long time campers - probably working in the area. There are NO amenities, not even bathhouse or restrooms.. Was concerned about security but was not an issue at all. There is no staff as you go by the chamber of commerce to pay your fee, which is only a couple of miles away. If you in the area and just need an overnight stay, it works, since the closest campground is 40 miles away. We camped at Coahoma County Expo Center in a Motorhome.Undo

This is an Expo center located about a mile from all the Blues Clubs in town. It's a good deal for a few nights but if you have a dog, keep it off the grass because there are small burrs and fire ants. We camped at Coahoma County Expo Center in a Motorhome.Undo
