4 RV Parks near Durant, Mississippi
May 2013 - $13.00
Tight turns and narrow roads make this inappropriate for big rigs. We may have stopped here before the park was open for the summer season. Skating rink was boarded up, and boat rentals and swimming were not available. No office direction. Just drive around and pick one. Some sites are blocked off and obviously not safe. Many sites are not very level. This is a CCC constructed park that has been sadly neglected. Could be rated 9 if maintenance was first priority. - Yeager
Oct 2011 - $13.00
This is one of the first four state parks built by the CCC in the thirty's. All sites had cement slabs, some are vertically challenged as they are steep. Lots and lots of trees around, however in the site we were in, I had a clear southern sky and was able to use my Veu Qube. The washroom showers are old but fairly clean. They have washers and dryers with them: kind of sorry looking but worked well. There is a brand new play ground and a beach with swimming allowed. It also has a skating rink for the kids. The fishing was good. If you want a quiet place to kick back and relax, this is the place for you. We will return. - Frank Henn
Apr 2011 - $18.00
All sites are concrete and most are level. One pull-thru. Heavily wooded, quiet, and 8 miles from town. Each site has a BBQ and picnic table. Little to do aside from enjoying nature. Fishing close by. I would stay here again. - geodrake
Dec 2018 - $25.00
Nice park, minimal amenities, small concrete pad with gravel lot, easy access off Highway 35. Back in only. - Kosciusko RV Park
Apr 2018 - $30.00
The owners were really nice people and hookups worked, but unfortunately those are the only plusses for this park. It was hard to enter and exit, the sites were close together and bad unlevel too. - User2063
Oct 2009 - $15.00
Park is behind a storage facility, on sparse gravel with no facilities. There is a concrete slab that our back wheels parked on. 30 amp electricity, water, and sewer. We had a satellite signal and phone signal (Verizon). The 8 sites are side by side and narrow. OK for an overnight while traveling the Natchez Trace Parkway. - Jerryws98516
