1 Park near Edwards, Mississippi

The place looks nice till you start looking closer at it. There was 1 bathroom for 50 people in our area . With 1 toilet and 1 shower that was working in it. There was years of mold on the shower curtains . The flys at this place were massive. The maintenance were notified for 2 days about a problem with the bathrooms at the pool. They never addressed them till they made an announcement that the kids had broken the bathroom. How is it that the kids are to blame for something that was brought to their attention before the kids showed up. The fishing in the lake is a joke. It is off balanced and most bass are 7 inches long . Yes you have a few that are 5 pounds, but they need to redo the lake. It has more stumps in the middle of the lake and I got my boat stuck 3 times in the very center . The pool smelt terrible even on day one. There were condoms floating in it. Their staff made it a point to say he was the personal body guard of someone there with his gun on his hip . It is very unprofessional to do that when there were already tension with that family member. I would not recommend this camp ground to anyone . You have a nicer camping experience at Roosevelt or even jelly stone camping . - Jesse Rodgers

This campground is located on a private lake. The sites are grass with a little gravel. There is a pool that is not used. The bathrooms badly need to be rebuilt. Besides being very dirty, the un-level bath floors are very spongy, like you'd fall through if you gained 5 lbs. There are mostly permanent residents here. Birds (in outdoor cages), and horses & goats (in a corral) are kept here. The office porch is fully decorated for Halloween, but that doesn't make up for terrible bathrooms. - LTV camper

Very nice CG with open spaces, woodsy and lake views. Lots of ducks and geese in the lake. The land driving into the CG and surrounding the CG, is gorgeous. The CG owner is very helpful and hospitable. There are permanent campers on the outer edges, but they are out of the way and not a problem at all. Our site had no shade, but there are shady sites available. The WiFi worked very well, and we were able to use our satellite for TV as our site had no trees. Pull-through site is a mix of gravel and grass and is very solid and level. No credit cards taken, but will take a check. Easy 15-20 minute drive to Vicksburg. We would stay here again. - Gayle E.
