Arrived on a really nice afternoon, check-in was fast, efficient, and conducted by a most pleasant lady. Some of the roads paved, some not, but pretty easy to maneuver my 35' fifth wheel into our pull through cemented and level space. Small but really nice picnic table also on the concrete. Roughly a 50' patch of grass between our front door and the next pad. Our particular lot was not very shaded but others would have been except for the time of year. Bath and laundry facilities were somewhat dated but clean. 3 of 4 driers we not operating but were fixed in a couple of days. We had a wonderful breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Wi-fi seemed pretty good on weekday mornings, ok in the afternoon and was in and out, mostly out in the evenings and weekends. The row we were in and the 3 behind us seemed to be for temporary travelers. Most of the rest of the campground units seemed to be permanently parked with a number of full time residents. A number of these units were pretty run down and moldy looking. Everyone however seemed very friendly. People seemed to drive too fast and in the morning between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., too loud. Lots of loud cars and trucks. I didn't care but I don't have any kids. There were several nice places to fish the river or just observe the wild life and dock your boat. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge is very well done. Only 1 bar on AT&T, data slow to non-working. The location was the perfect spring board to see a big chunk of this part of the gulf coast and quite honestly, it kinda grew on me. If we come back to this area, we will likely stay here.

Way off the Interstate on a long paved entrance road, so very quiet except when the full-time residents cranked up their monster trucks. Used the old, but well-maintained laundry, which was very busy due to the number of long-term snowbirds/residents who occupy more than half the sites. The on-site restaurant was closed the day we were there. Good cell and slow WiFi service, but only used OTA TV while there. This place looks like a very old, private, lakeside summer resort that has been expanded to include an RV park and boat/RV storage. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We were evacuating Florida from Hurricane Irma and found this wonderful campground. The price can't be beat and the staff is great. It's set off from the road so it's quiet. Because of all the evacuees, we ended up in the overflow but actually liked it better than some sites. It was all level concrete & backed up to a view of the water with a large grassy area behind to walk our dogs and saw kids playing. Plenty of room to park our tow vehicle. There's a lovely pool, pavillion & clubhouse, boat ramp and docks nearby as well as a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch that was yummy. We stayed 2 nights; I would have stayed longer but we had to get back to assess damage. Highly recommend this park! Staff is wonderful, they escort you to your site. Office is open til 8am-8pm. There's miniature golf & horse shoes (for free!). I noticed some of the regular sites were close together and some were sloped so check it out first, then ask for one you want. They have military and Good Sam discounts. They have full hook-ups, cable is very good. WiFi is spotty at best. Both AT&T and Verizon work well. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

When you go back out to the main road, turn left and go about a mile or so to all kinds of shopping available, restaurants, Lowe's, etc. If you turn right at the main road, there's a Mexican restaurant down the way (we didn't get a chance to try it but there were lots of cars there). There's also a Dollar General store that's good to pick up a few grocery and sundry items for camping.

While many will not consider Indian Point RV park a resort, you must remember this is Mississippi. There are bath houses, boating docks fishing piers and many of the things that make for a good place to spend a few days. Now, having said that, we stayed on PA3 site. It is concrete slab and level. All the sites in this part are concrete and level. The approach to the pads are gravel on one side and asphalt on the other end. Full hooks are easy to get to, and the cable works fine. I didn't use the WIFI as I always carry my Pocket-WIFI for security . There is a restaurant but only open for limited hours per day. We did not use for that reason. Other parts of the park are over run, it seems with homesteaders. Old RVs many appear to be abandoned. While many of the roads are grave, main roads are paved and mostly in good repair as is the fishing pear, boat dock and boat launch. The park is easy to get to by taking exit 61 off I-10 turning south onto Gautier-Vancleave Road. From here, there is fishing. While not a lot of shopping going on in Gautier, from I 10 you can cross in to Mobile Alabama or go west on I 10 to Biloxi or Gulfport. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

While there is a restaurant at the park, it is only open on a limited basis. There is a restaurant out of the park and to the south. Gentleman's Family restaurant serves a good meal at a reasonable price.

Park is a cute little community set way back off the road in some trees. Space was concrete pad with patio and picnic table. Lots of grassy areas, very clean. Was reading over the rules and was kind of shocked to see it said no dogs over 35 lbs. We travel with 2 European Shepherds 100 lbs each, and I'm always upfront about having them. We're careful pet owners, keep our dogs on leash, with us anytime they're outside our rig, make sure they use good manners (they're old show dogs), pick up after them etc. Just keep that rule in mind should you want to stay here and travel with a bigger dog, might want to check with them first. I'm not sure we'd stay here again, don't want to cause any issue and sure don't want anyone to "evict" me especially after I've paid. Otherwise, we'd stay here again on repeat. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We planned on only 1 night here, but liked it so well we unloaded the Harley, rode around and ended up 2 nights. The sites were great, concrete pads, 50 amp, good water, free wifi and cable, and the people were so helpful. I wish there had been trees for shade at our site, but it was still nice, very level! Some of the interior roads were a little rough, and the pool was cool and my husband said it was slimy when he put his hand in it, but it did just open up the first of May. There is a lot to do here, and it's spread out. There is a friendly restaurant, but no camp store. However, it was not far to a store for anything, and a nice motorcycle ride to the casinos in Biloxi. We also went to The Shed in a nearby town...and I highly recommend you go see this place. We would definitely stay here anytime we are in the area. Even though the interior roads had some rough spots, there were also some very good, smooth roads on the premises. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Definitely go to The Shed BBQ restaurant and blues joint. We ate the sampler platter, but learned about their slaw dogs after the fact...maybe next time. It is a nice ride to the casinos in Biloxi...very easy to get to!

We have stayed here before. Be sure to use GPS as turn on to Indian Point Road is easy to miss. Park is nicely wooded and quiet. There are 12 pull-thru sites with nice wide concrete pads complete with a picnic table. We found the roads easy to navigate. Perfect for overnight or longer. Contrary to their website the restaurant is open. While we did not eat there we checked out the prices and thought they were reasonable. Breakfast is offered from 7 to 11 AM. Dinner is served from 5 - 9 PM. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay at Indian Point. During our first stay, we were assigned a site in the "PA" row, which has concrete pads is not too bad. This time we were given a site in "PC" which is so sloped that it was literally impossible to level our RV. We moved (at our request) to another site in the row that was not as bad as the first one they gave us but still very difficult to get level in.

Most importantly, insist on a site in row PA as PC and PB are not even close to level for the most part.

There appear to be a number of perms and/or long-timers living here, but the park is quiet at night and we had no problems.

Bring your bug spray because the flying insects are numerous and hungry.

The roads inside the park are quite bumpy so drive slooooowly. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Motorhome.

OK for an overnight stay but that's about it. Restrooms/showers are badly in need of a complete rehab. Laundry is "closed until further notice." Roads within the park are in need of regrading. Basically, an old and tired park. The only plus is the wifi is good. Lot spacing is very close with some shade. Site surface is a concrete pad. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was an overnight stop. We were assigned a paved overflow site so we could back in without unhooking the trailer. Very nice folks at check-in. We didn't use any of the park's amenities but it looked like a pleasant place. The cafe was closed down The Wi-Fi was spotty in the evening but early morning it was pretty much trouble free. We would stay there again. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Eastbound I-10 has a beautiful Visitor's center coming into Mississippi. There are small RV pull-offs on the road that returns to the interstate. We had stopped for a few hours in the truck area and didn't see this area until we were leaving. It almost looks like a little RV campsites without utilities. As with most Visitor centers and rest areas, there is no return to the rest area. Once you are on your way out, your only choice is being back on the interstate.

Here for 3 nights, on a pull thru site with a concrete pad and full hookups. The driveways are gravel and badly potholed. Included cable and WiFi worked well. The bathrooms could use some repairs and upgrades. We didn't use the laundry but each day when we walked by there was a pool of water on the floor, apparently a leak that was not being repaired. No major complaints but a few changes could have a positive impact. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Checkin was easy. Lady who checked us in was nice. She's really the only park employee we saw, but then again, we only stayed one night.

Roads are gravel. Site was a nice sized concrete pad. Our site was a pull through. Free cable and free wifi.

Park is about a half mile off the main road, which is nice...it is quiet.

As I said, we only stayed one night...wish we had longer to enjoy this park. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Very reasonable in price. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park is literally way back in the woods, which is not a bad thing. There seemed to be a lot of perms and long-timers, but that's pretty common today. There is an on-site restaurant, which we didn't use as we just stayed overnight. Concrete pad was level but not so crazy about sloped gravel toad parking area behind our coach. Stayed for three days and every morning before dawn you could lay in bed and listen to all the "locals" race out of the park on their way to work. The campground was once a gem and has since gone downhill. My actual site was concrete and was very nice. At check in we were offered morning coffee slips and tried to use them to get a cup of tea and damn near had our head ripped off my the local staff since we didn't drink coffee.
