We stayed overnight. Staff was very friendly. Park was clean and spacious. We did not use any of the facilities. It was really a nice park on our route. Wish it had cable. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thank you for the review of Frog Hollow Campground. I understand about the disappointment regarding the lack of cable. We have been trying to get CableOne for 14 years and they refuse to connect us stating that "it is not to their monetary advantage."
I spoke with the corporate office last year and there is nothing they can or will do to assist us.
I sincerely hope that will not stop you from visiting us on another trip.

As an overnight stop, this park worked just fine. It was small but very neat and tidy, and the owner guided us to our site which was long enough for our coach and truck and 2nd vehicle. Water and power were good and there is a nice little area in the back to walk the dog. There was some road noise from the interstate. The highlight of our stay was eating at Carmella's restaurant downtown. The pasta and pizza were fantastic! We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just stayed one night but it was great. Easy off and on I-55. Easy to maneuver through. Everything worked great. Good water pressure, steady 50 Amp. The best thing is the owner gentleman. For reasons I'd rather not discuss (my stupid mistake) when I got ready to leave Wednesday morning, my toad battery was dead. So I got that recharged and then tried to start it but no Bueno. Turns out it was out of gas. (Ok I confess that I left it running all night. Told you it was stupid.) Called the owner and he ran over with a gas can and gave me enough to get it started. Now that's good service! We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Larry (my better half) told me about this happening! We are glad he could help out and rest assured, you are not the only camper that has had an oops!! We camped for 22 years before buying Frog Hollow and we could fill a book with our "incidents " and those of all our camper friends. One of the things that makes camping so great is that there is always someone to help in a crisis.
We hope you travel safe and have a great trip!

Very convenient to I-55. Pull through FHU site with several over the air TV signals. Wifi was good only in the morning or during the day when the folks in the campground who work are not around. Once evening came we could not get anywhere with the Wifi signal. Escort to site by owner who was very friendly and helpful. Some road noise from the interstate but nothing unbearable. Security lights throughout the park. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thank you for staying with us. I understand the WiFi issue but dsl is our only option and the service from AT&T is very poor. I have attempted several times to get them to upgrade our service with no success. I do keep track of camper issues with that and notify ATT every time there is a problem.
Drive safe and enjoy your travels.

PROS-Located right off of I-55-Beth and Larry are friendly and helpful-power and wi-fi are strong which was good it was cold and we were using a electric heater to help keep up. About half way between Memphis and Jackson Mississippi-our pull through site was long enough to handle our 5th wheel with the truck hooked up.

CONS-Older park-no cable

Would we stay here again? Great for over night. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

1 overnight stay. Larry and Beth were most accommodating and friendly.
Our site was a reasonably level pullthru. Long enough to accomodate our 32' MH & toad to remain hooked. Utilities were easy to access. Good 50A. Site was grassy. Trash receptacles close by with sturdy lids.
Interior roads are gravel packed that could use some smoothing out. There had been a considerable amount of rain prior to our arrival so travel areas were muddy.

The CG is located alongside I-55 divided by a tree row. We slept undisturbed.
Good wifi & air TV.
We would stay again. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very convenient access to I-55. This park has no discounts. We parked at one of the pull-thru 30 amp sites. The site easily fit our 32 ft motorhome with our toad attached. The water pressure can reach 100# so a reducer is required at the spigot. The park will loan the reducers out, if you do not have one. Each of the pull-thru sites have a concrete patio pad and a picnic table. The site is gravel and was level enough, for the overnight stay, without having to put out the levelers (the level was riding the line). ATT cell phones, had good service and the Wi-Fi worked well. There are several full-time residents and as stated in an earlier post had well kept RVs and sites. The Hosts were very friendly, stopping to talk with us, at length as they were walking the campground. They escort you to the site and check back to make sure everything is working. We actually stayed twice at this campground both going and returning from our trip, after having had a good experience from the first stay. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gravel roads and sites, concrete pad, some grass for walking dogs. Some TV, wifi did not work. Close to interstate, lots of road noise. Friendly office staff, barky dogs from permanents in park. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very convenient access to I-55. Add $1.96 tax to the rate shown. This park has no discounts. We parked at one of the pull-thru 50 amp sites. The site easily fit our 40 ft motorhome with our Jeep in tow. The water pressure can reach 100# so a reducer is required at the spigot. Since our regulator is mounted on the filter the park lent us a reducer at the spigot. These pull-thru sites are open so satellite reception is no problem. Each of the pull-thru sites has a long concrete patio pad and a picnic table. The site is solid gravel but not as level as one would like, however, we were able to level okay. Verizon had no 3 or 4G available and 1X was 2 bars. There are several full-time residents who look like they work on the pipeline. All these sites and RVs are well kept and these folks seemed to be good hardworking people & families. This park is a good choice for an overnight stop. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Long pull thru sites which are great for an overnight stop. No cable and somewhat limited OTA reception. The utilities are properly placed and the park has 50 amp service (important since the PT sites do not have shade). There is a picnic table and concrete slab patio at each site. The check-in was easy and friendly. We would stay here again if in the area.

As someone stated, there are many long term residents, but their sites were clean and neat. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Was a great overnight stop as I was headed south. Close to highway. Very nice owners. Helpful. Was first night for the season for me as leaving WI that morning was below zero. Was great to unwinterize there with full hook ups. The park has a small camp store with ice. Water and electric was fine. Park requires a heavy brass regulator as water pressure is extremely high. Wifi was weak. Maybe just the site I was on. I would stay here again. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very good overnight park with easy access on and off the nearby interstate. Good pull through site, although on a bit of a slope, was easy to get the front level. A few long term campers. If the park was kind of full, might not be as easy getting in and out of sites. Staff very friendly. Good power and WiFi. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Frog Hollow in January on our way south. This is a good campground for an overnight stop with easy access from I-55. There was quite a bit of highway noise but that was expected with the park being so close to the highway. We were assigned a pull-through site that was grass and gravel but was level side to side. The office staff was friendly and guided us to our site. This is a no frills park but met our needs for an overnight stop. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
