1 Park near Jackson, Mississippi
May 2015 - $18.00
Honestly, that was our first State park, and we knew what to expect. Overall the park is wonderful especially if you want to get away and have truly quite time, only thing you have here is water and electric, no wifi, so you won't have distractions. The Lake is very nice and the people are too.
I think it's great if you come for few nights or if you want to stay much longer, it's close to shopping and if you are like us that is looking for organic store, Whole Foods is only few min away.
Even though we didn't use, we saw there was bathroom shower and even laundry facility in the park right next to you.
If we pass by again, we would come back but will chose different site. - MikeMayNaama

Very nice park right in the middle of Jackson. Lots to do, museums, parks etc, a small picturesque lake and most sights are right on it. Yes the road is gravel, but it is smoother than a lot of paved roads. It is the country in the middle of the city. I will be back. - exsailor81

Long dirt road to campground that is very dusty when not raining. Many trees so no satellite. Large sites. Because of cheap rates we had a lady in a tent next to us that was not friendly to our kids. She did not have a car and would not speak when spoken to. Pretty lake. Would stay for an overnight stop again. - Kelly_J
