28 RV Parks near Ocean Springs, Mississippi
Oct 2015 - $40.00
We stayed for 2 months. Lot sizes are nice with cement slab for picnic table. They kept up on lawn maintenance.
There are a lot of permanent park model trailers. They offer WiFi. Not top of the line but does do the job. No cable but your antenna picks up many station. Washer and dryer. Not sure nightly rate we payed monthly rate. - Anne14
May 2015 - $40.00
We have stayed at Camp Journey's End many times over the years not only because of its proximity to The Shed BBQ, but because it was a lovely campground. This is no longer true! It is about one third the size it was before and except for some full-time residents, the place looks abandoned. The ads on the internet claim they have wifi, cable, showers and bathrooms. The wifi is marginal, cable is nonexistent and the one shower is so nasty I wouldn't bathe my dog in it. There are two toilets (unisex) where I killed a large cockroach one morning. The place is horrible - the worst by far of any campground we ever had the misfortune to visit. Get your Shedhead on, but stay ANY place else in the area. - Mother Goose
Apr 2014 - $40.00
Nice wide pull through sites and trees and landscaping were nice. Right next to a great BBQ place and across from a good gas station with diesel. Quiet and easy access. Now to Why I gave it such a poor rating. The park is on a highway easement, they can't use over half the park, and it hasn't been updated in years. No WiFi, pool was a swamp, low water pressure, ants everywhere, no TV channels available even on antennae, no Good Sam discount, and no credit cards accepted. - Axe and Cindy
Nov 2018 - $10.00
This is a national campground so saved $10/n from $20 rate with Senior Pass. This campground has no sewers, wifi or cable. There is a dump station. All sites are backins. We could get ABC and CBS on TV antenna but not much else. Campground is located close to Ocean Springs and 30 minutes from Biloxi casinos and beaches. We were there for the very nice Anderson Art and Craft Festival. Roads to/in campground are paved and sites are paved. There is a pad with a picnic table and a fire ring. Many sites are very short and not very level. My site could not fit both my 45 ft RV and tow and you can not park on the grass. Lots of trees so could not get satellite. Only a few sites probably can access satellite. The bathhouse is about as nice as you will find in any campground. There is a security gate but it was broken. Register at the campground not at the Welcome Center. - Tom Willing
Oct 2018 - $22.00
The park itself is really nice with lots to do and lots of nature to be found. The campground itself was okay at best. While there were quite a few bigger rigs (ours is a 41' 5th wheel) it wasn't all that easy to maneuver thru the campground and back in. Once you pull out you have to go back in to toward the campsites to get to the dump site. As long as you are in a spot you can get in to its a fine campground. On a side note, the directions on the web site were confusing and it says to check in at the visitors center... which when we did they said that was not the case. - campersfromiowa
Oct 2018 - $11.00
Love to come to this park. Very clean and well kept. Shopping very close by. Also TatoNuts doughnuts in downtown Ocean Springs for some of the best doughnuts made. The only thing that would make this place a 10 would be having sewer. Also there are several OTA channels to watch in TV. Also no WiFi - archbarb
Mar 2015 - $24.00
We stayed here two weeks and enjoyed it a lot. The Good Sam discount didn't apply to the weekly rate, but the price was good without it. The staff was great. There are lots of long-term campers here and we were put in the "overflow section"....which turned out to be fine. It was level, and was backed up to a large lawn and great views of the bayou (birds, boats going by, etc.) The shower/toilet building is older but kept very clean and everything works. Our only complaints were with the terrible Wi-Fi. It was always weak or no signal at all, and dropped out constantly. An added bonus was the cafe that was on site. They had good prices and good food. Most of the raves were for the breakfast items and the Thursday night steak special. We will definitely be back next year. Watch out for the biting gnats, however! - stocky
Dec 2014 - $15.00
The park allows extended stays which was nice since my husband was working at the ship yard on a 2 month contract. They have a minimum 6 week stay. The RV section is close to the office and surrounded by permanent mobile homes. They have a great pool and playground, bbq grills and picnic pavilions. I felt very safe taking an evening jog around the park. They allow small pets so sparky was happy. Overall an excellent place to stay if you are visiting the coast! - Dora the Explorer
Jun 2018 - $35.00
Front of park was very nice. Awesome playground, beautiful lake and pool. Cabins were adorable from the outside. Problem is that there are too many people that live here and the rest of the park is very junky. We had a view of lots of rubbish and several permanent campers that are falling apart. Restrooms were not as clean as I would like, the hand dryer was broken & no paper towels were available. One of the toilets was also broken. Pool was very nice but very cloudy. Would only stay again if the messy campers were cleaned up & the restrooms were in better order. They could have a 5 star resort if they cleaned it up, got rid of the run down campers and added another bath house. - Mommieof3
Feb 2018 - $12.00
The RV park has many who have lived there for quite awhile; their places could use some cleaning up (and that's being kind...they are dumps). However, there is one row that is kept primarily for the travelers. There is one pull-thru and multiple back-ins on that row. These sites are fairly large. All are level cement pads, which we were grateful to have as we were there during a horrendous rainstorm. FHU-50 amp. Many are 30-amp; ours was 50. Horrible wifi (but we were told it was being worked on). Quiet. Internal roads were OK but not large. Doubt if would stay here again due to the number of trashy sites. This is too bad, because the RV park has potential if it would be cleaned up. - DrM Traveler
Jan 2017 - $10.00
Place is for permanents. They let others stay when members are away. Ingress and egress is way too tight, You can do it, but why? Fair wifi, cable available with boxes only. We saw no pull thru's only back in. Nice concrete pads. Right off I-10 so might stay again if tired going through Biloxi. - teepee51
Jun 2018 - $25.00
Nice park for price. Site was level enough. We drove up on several blocks and did not unhook. Close to highway-5 minutes. Small pool and resturant. Small picnic table at site. Nice lighted fishing dock and areas to tie up boats. Many people staying here were longer stays with boats. Older large park with a lot of area with shade to walk the dog. We are traveling with an active dog-lots of squirrels for him to point on. There were alligators around the boat docks so I had to watch him there. Good one day stop or to take time to recharge. - Kayak54
Mar 2018 - $25.00
Arrived on a really nice afternoon, check-in was fast, efficient, and conducted by a most pleasant lady. Some of the roads paved, some not, but pretty easy to maneuver my 35' fifth wheel into our pull through cemented and level space. Small but really nice picnic table also on the concrete. Roughly a 50' patch of grass between our front door and the next pad. Our particular lot was not very shaded but others would have been except for the time of year. Bath and laundry facilities were somewhat dated but clean. 3 of 4 driers we not operating but were fixed in a couple of days. We had a wonderful breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Wi-fi seemed pretty good on weekday mornings, ok in the afternoon and was in and out, mostly out in the evenings and weekends. The row we were in and the 3 behind us seemed to be for temporary travelers. Most of the rest of the campground units seemed to be permanently parked with a number of full time residents. A number of these units were pretty run down and moldy looking. Everyone however seemed very friendly. People seemed to drive too fast and in the morning between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., too loud. Lots of loud cars and trucks. I didn't care but I don't have any kids. There were several nice places to fish the river or just observe the wild life and dock your boat. - Gewehr Travels
Feb 2018 - $29.00
Way off the Interstate on a long paved entrance road, so very quiet except when the full-time residents cranked up their monster trucks. Used the old, but well-maintained laundry, which was very busy due to the number of long-term snowbirds/residents who occupy more than half the sites. The on-site restaurant was closed the day we were there. Good cell and slow WiFi service, but only used OTA TV while there. This place looks like a very old, private, lakeside summer resort that has been expanded to include an RV park and boat/RV storage. - fanrgs
Nov 2018 - $28.00
The park is a more rustic and smaller than the average large park. The nightly rate was a just $28.00! It is next to I10 and very easy to get to. Camp site was level with dirt & gravel but no picnc table or fire pit. It had 30-50 amp service. Our pull-through was just easily long enough for our 40ft motorhome towing vehicle. There were some trees around the park but were able to get satellite reception with no difficulty. Very quiet (you could hear the birds) and only about half the camp sites were filled so they let us pick the site we liked best. Good Sprint and ATT service. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. - don-marg
Jun 2018 - $28.00
This is our 6th stay in this park over the past 2 years. It is an exceptional value, very unlike the portrayal of an earlier review posted on this site. The staff are thoughtful and helpful in every way, the park is truly spacious and kept clean, the saltwater pool is crystal clear, and both the short termers and long termers are friendly and considerate. It is quiet with a gorgeous country setting, the water/sewer/electric have always been faultless, and there are convenient dog-walk areas surrounding the spaces. The freeway is a mile (as the crow flies) and 3 miles by road (less than 5 min), but no freeway noise whatever at the park. The park has 2 sections - front and rear, separated by much grassy area. About half of the front section are pull-thru sites, and nearly all of those in the rear are back-in. - nationcruiser
Jun 2017 - $32.00
I love this park. The pool is beautiful, Family oriented, and My stay here has been great. - Ashley gray
Mar 2016 - $18.00
We found this park to be very clean and easy to get around in. Yes there were a couple of low hanging branches but nothing that was a worry.
We did not use the bath house so can not assess it's cleanliness but the rest of the park seemed to be very clean.
The lady at the front office was very helpful and welcoming.
We had 50 amp power and water, which a lot of state parks do not have either.
I think for the value it is a great place to stay, especially with the amenities it had.
We would certainly state here again if in the area. - prstlkid
Jan 2015 - $18.00
Stayed at this State Park for one night while passing through. We arrived after dark, so navigating through it in the dark was a little tricky. There are a few low limbs on the road going into the park, but you can get around them. Very quiet State Park. Bath house was not clean and in bad need of repair. There was a sign on the women's door that said the bath house was in the process of being remodeled, which they were obviously working on. We stayed in Site 24, which is a pull thru site located just off the road. Pretty site and fairly easy to get in and out of. Electrical box worked fine, but needs to be upgraded. Very nice and friendly staff. We would stay here again. We camped here in Jan. 2015 in a 40' fifth wheel. - Digetydog
Oct 2014 - $18.00
Gravel roads. Our site had a nice view of the marsh. We expected trouble with mosquitoes but had none. We had trouble leveling. No WiFi, very helpful staff. Even though it was full it was very quiet. - winnie1
Oct 2018 - $35.00
The park is difficult to get into. It is basically a parking lot with a small patch of grass. Make reservations and call back twenty minutes before you arrive. - Shadoe
Sep 2018 - $35.00
Park was located across from the casino and you could walk or call security for ride. Park has concrete pad and and 1 small trash can for park and no other amenities. - johnmack
May 2018 - $29.00
Old parking lot that has hook ups and some grass. All worked well but as noted the lack of an office and the lack of over site at the park leads to confusion. As noted by many the site we were assigned to had someone in it so we moved to another. But all worked and it was quiet so I found it handy. The sites are full hook ups but they have no facilities on site so you will find no amenities on site or anything for children. - peddy dick
Oct 2018 - $20.00
We stayed at Allure for the month of October, hence the cheaper daily rate. Upon arrival, we were welcomed like old friends. The owner and assistant helped guide our motorhome into our space, after which, set a small wooden deck outside our steps. Nice touch! The park is nicely laid out with tasteful landscaping. Sites and park is all gravel with spacious back-in and pull-through sites. Our puppy enjoyed the large, and well maintained dog park. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. WiFi and utilities all worked great, and the Biloxi area soft water is an added plus! We will definitely be returning to Allure RV Park, whenever we visit the Gulf Coast! - flashysdad
Oct 2018 - $50.00
New campground which is well designed and well laid out. Pull-thru sites are long enough for our motorhome home and our tow vehicle and are level. Utilities all work good. Sites have nice sized yards and most have a wood deck that can be moved to your door area. Roads are wide enough for easy access in an out of sites.
Bathrooms are new, individual with locks on doors, and each has a toilet, shower, sink and mirror.
Since it is off of I-10, you hear the interstate traffic but late at night the traffic dies down and it is fairly quiet. There is no sign pointing you to the campground out on the main road (Popps Ferry Road) so you have to trust your GPS when turning north on Gay Road (which is a smaller road running alongside a Family Dollar store).
Will definitely stay here again when in Biloxi. - ForzaDude
Oct 2018 - $53.00
Wow. What a great park in Biloxi! Very clean, big rig friendly with spacious lots! Great WiFi and very quiet. - Dianne64
Aug 2018 - $30.00
I found nothing particularly special about this RV park. Sites are close together. Pull thrus are about 45' long and relatively narrow. You have to get the coach well to the left on the site to allow enough room to park your tow vehicle. All utilities worked fine. Some rules are not strongly enforced, possibly depending on occupancy. Two such rules are not parking on vacant sites and not parking in the street. I saw both rules being violated. Outside the park, it is located in not a great part of town, but inside the park was very quiet. There are a lot of other RV parks in the area. I'd stay at others to check them out before I'd come back to this one. - TH travelers
Jul 2018 - $60.00
While not in the prettiest area of town the park itself is very nice and very convenient to most attractions. The sites are a bit close but not unlike so many other parks. The length of the sites are just long enough to fit most larger rigs. We have a 45-foot motorhome and our rig fit with only a couple of feet to spare...but you can park beside your rig on what might be considered the patio. The Wi-Fi was sketchy and not reliable so we had to use our hotspot most of the time. All in all this is a pretty solid park...clean with just enough space. - Paul Goodspeed
Mar 2018 - $50.00
The campground was absolutely beautiful! Very nice heated swimming pool. Concrete pads. The staff was exceptional! I would most definitely stay here again. - ekcam
