2 Parks near Ocean Springs, Mississippi
Apr 2014 - $40.00
Nice wide pull through sites and trees and landscaping were nice. Right next to a great BBQ place and across from a good gas station with diesel. Quiet and easy access. Now to Why I gave it such a poor rating. The park is on a highway easement, they can't use over half the park, and it hasn't been updated in years. No WiFi, pool was a swamp, low water pressure, ants everywhere, no TV channels available even on antennae, no Good Sam discount, and no credit cards accepted. - Axe and Cindy

This is by far the worst campground we have ever stayed at. Our first clue should have been the pool with green scum floating in it. Next clue would have been the fact that we paid cash and no registration was taken. We picked our own spot after driving by a wrecked car sitting in oue spot and broken down rvs in other spots..does it feel safe? No! Does it look safe? No! We are staying only because my driver is exhausted. - txbandb

Not our favorite but still good for a quick stop over. We stayed when there was an event at the SHED and it was somewhat noisy for our taste. - rwmrvr

Reservations are now taken as posted in an earlier review. Sites vary a lot and most of them are sloped from front to back enough to lift a MH's rear tires off the ground. These sites are mostly level and suitable for MH's: 1, 3, 4, 15, 19, 20, 21, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 37, 38, 39, 41, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49 and 51. Sites lengths vary and above includes the handicap sites. All sites are paved. Check details on reservation system. We had a great stay with very good Verizon cell and broadband, TV via batwing was also good. This was our fourth stay here. - Bob and Inga
Apr 2015 - $11.00
This is a typical Government Campground. It has the basics and many sites are tight and can be out of level. Our site was long enough, but hard to back into due to it being on the end of a tight loop. The ocean isn't visible from the campground and with the closeness of the bayou, mosquitoes could be a problem during the rainy season. Hard to believe a campground can be found at a reasonable price on the Gulf Coast. - Teacher's Pet
Apr 2015 - $22.00
This is a wonderful park, we were only going to stay for two nights and added a third since we were having so much fun watching the wildlife and going for hikes.
Lots of birds for birdwatching, several gators! Don't forget your bug spray though, lots of bloodsuckers.
The sites were easy to access as long as you can back in, easy to get to the dump station.
Be careful around the dumpsters at night, several racoons were around them! - Crazyjewelrymakers
