Campground is wooded with gravel sites and paved roads. Very clean and well maintained. Has a laundry, bathrooms and showers at the main office. They have 2 Dog park areas, both are unfenced, one is small but nice. Major shopping/food within 2 miles. Watch for their sign, GPS is not accurate. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on our way to Florida. Very festive as Christmas decorations still up. It was below freezing so we didn't hook up to water. Used showers and bathrooms. Very clean. Great WiFi. Will use this campground again on our way home. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The campground is off US-45 just north of I-22. Relatively easy on/off the highway. Check-in was easy, although I would recommend a reservation as a steady stream of RVs came in until early evening. The park is laid out on a steep hillside. Sites are terraced down the hill with a few long term sites at the base of the hill. Our site was narrow, but ample for our use. It was long enough so we didn't need to unhook. All utilities worked as expected. WIFI and cable are included, although the WIFI was unavailable in the evening. The grade on the way out was quite a climb. Given the terrain, I think I'd look for another campground when in the area again. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is located in a hilly and heavily wooded area but is accessible for big rigs, you just need to be careful. Conveniently located right off the Interstate with many stores, restaurants and even a mall close by. Sites were long and level pull thru gravel, free wi-fi and cable. Plenty of room to walk the dog. Accept Good Sam discount but cash or check only. Good for an overnight or a few nights to visit Tupelo sites. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the nicer campgrounds we've visited on this trip. Check in was easy, and we were escorted to our site. Asphalt interior roads were tight but not overly so. Our site was a pull through with enough room for tow vehicle. There is enough to see here to keep you busy for a few days. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights on a trip north from Florida to Missouri. Our plan was to spend 2 days touring the area with a focus on the Natchez Trace (see below). The campground is well located with convenient highway access and LOTS of local shopping.

The park is hilly with lots of trees. This is good as it creates a better sense of privacy despite sites being close together. Sites are generally level on gravel, do not have pads/patios, but do have tables. Most are fairly long/pull-thru. Hook-ups were in good condition. WiFi is free throughout the park, but speed is not great. Cable service is excellent.

The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. They are clean, but generally unattractive and, I'd say, basic. All considered, I'd expected better. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Nice campground near Tupelo. Interior roads narrow, paved. Sites crushed gravel, wide, ours was very level. Sites are terraced. Cable tv. Some sites are satellite friendly, lots of trees and shade. Campground was neat and clean. Staff friendly. Verizon and T-Mobile signals weak but usable. Could not get on wifi. Dogs limited to a few sections of the park for morning duty. FHU's mid site, good condition. We were here for overnight stay. Easy in and set up. Campground very quiet. No credit cards, cash or check only. What a pleasant surprise, beautiful secluded wooded park in the middle of town. The roads are paved and the sites are terraced down a hill to create privacy between sites the site was a little unlevel but not extreme just took a little adjustment. One of the nicest parks we have stayed in. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Nice park close to historic downtown Tupelo and Elvis's birthplace. The sites are terraced, but we had a fairly level gravel, pull through site with shade. Despite being off a very busy road, the park was quiet. The park is easy on/off the Natchez Trace Parkway. The park does not take credit cards, but will accept a personal check or cash. Overall Rating:

Nice campground for an overnight stop and chance to recharge. My site was short, so that even with my 15' I still had to unhitch, but very wide, leaving plenty of room to park my TV. Site was mostly gravel with a concrete strip and level. Hook-ups were convenient, though the water was placed very low to the ground, and worked well.

Owner was friendly, both over the phone and while checking me in. Campground itself is very clean and well groomed, with nice landscaping, and most sites are larger pull throughs and terraced down a hill. Roads were recently paved and in great shape. Shower house was very dated and in need of an upgrade, but was very clean and functioned well, as did the laundry.

Overall I would stay again, Tulepo is an interesting town to visit and this campground could make for a good base camp to do so. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Travel Trailer.
