Just overnight this visit. Fairly level sites. Lots of trees in the "overnight" area so no satellite TV, but the free cable was good as was the WIFI. Only disappointing factor was the location of the areas to walk dogs, but made do. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

The best thing about this park is the location. It's tucked away from a major highway but less than half a mile from major shopping center and stores. Roads are paved but narrow with some steep hills and turns. Un-hitching the toad probably would have been easier and should have been suggested by 0ffice staff. Our site had no shade, whereas the photos on the website lead you to believe all sites are tree covered. When I called to reserve, I specifically asked for a level site as our jacks were not working and was told "all of our sites are level". Well they are NOT! It took a lot of work to get an acceptable level with some blocks on our site. Many sites sit on a hill, ours had a hefty incline of 10-15% front and back and it was not level in the middle at all. It had deep ruts in the gravel from others. We have about 3 feet between our slide and the neighbor's slide. No privacy between sites. No picnic tables or specific patio area. Wifi never worked for us. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Campground is terraced into a hill so some sites difficult for large RV. Roads narrow. Owners helpful and polite. Need cash or check only. We have 45' coach so a bit tight getting in and out but worked. Sites are very nicely landscaped. Close to restaurants etc but we didn't unhook. A nice park for overnight or extended stay yo visit sites along Natchez Trace or Tupelo. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay so much we extended another day. Paved roads, gravel lots. Ours was divided from the next by shrubs and trees which was full of birds and squirrels. There are nice areas to walk the dogs and the office staff was very nice. Many restaurants and things to see near by. We would stay again. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Enjoyed our stay here. Loved that it was close to everything - shopping, Natchez Trace Parkway and, of course, Elvis' birthplace house and museum. Sites were long and wide enough for our opposing slides. Clean and quiet. Liked the way it was tucked away in the woods so it felt a little like camping instead of an RV Park. WiFi and cable did not work well during our 3 day stay. Perhaps the storms played a part in that? Did not use laundry room and bathrooms so I cannot comment on those. Staff was friendly and gave us a lot of info about the area. Nice little place. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Travel Trailer.

Very hilly wooded campground. We were in site 23 which is right across from the dog walk area. There is a lot of shopping close by and you can hear the traffic far off. Paved roads. Internet was excellent. It was good for an overnight. Cash or check only. Well lit at night. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Very close to many services as mentioned by other reviewers. Interior roads asphalt and a bit tight and hilly but we did fine in our 42' RV towing. Site plenty long enough. Very friendly check in and came to site to make sure we were all good. Got satellite reception. Wifi slow but Ok. Verizon fine. Dog walking areas. it fenced but good. Very convenient to Natchez Trace Parkway. Would stay again. Loved downtown Tupelo! We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Campground is wooded with gravel sites and paved roads. Very clean and well maintained. Has a laundry, bathrooms and showers at the main office. They have 2 Dog park areas, both are unfenced, one is small but nice. Major shopping/food within 2 miles. Watch for their sign, GPS is not accurate. We stayed here on our way to Florida. Very festive as Christmas decorations still up. It was below freezing so we didn't hook up to water. Used showers and bathrooms. Very clean. Great WiFi. Will use this campground again on our way home. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The campground is off US-45 just north of I-22. Relatively easy on/off the highway. Check-in was easy, although I would recommend a reservation as a steady stream of RVs came in until early evening. The park is laid out on a steep hillside. Sites are terraced down the hill with a few long term sites at the base of the hill. Our site was narrow, but ample for our use. It was long enough so we didn't need to unhook. All utilities worked as expected. WIFI and cable are included, although the WIFI was unavailable in the evening. The grade on the way out was quite a climb. Given the terrain, I think I'd look for another campground when in the area again. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights on a trip north from Florida to Missouri. Our plan was to spend 2 days touring the area with a focus on the Natchez Trace (see below). The campground is well located with convenient highway access and LOTS of local shopping.

The park is hilly with lots of trees. This is good as it creates a better sense of privacy despite sites being close together. Sites are generally level on gravel, do not have pads/patios, but do have tables. Most are fairly long/pull-thru. Hook-ups were in good condition. WiFi is free throughout the park, but speed is not great. Cable service is excellent.

The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. They are clean, but generally unattractive and, I'd say, basic. All considered, I'd expected better. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

One of the nicer campgrounds we've visited on this trip. Check in was easy, and we were escorted to our site. Asphalt interior roads were tight but not overly so. Our site was a pull through with enough room for tow vehicle. There is enough to see here to keep you busy for a few days. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
