We stayed here on both ends of our trip on the Natchez Trace Parkway. All sites are full hookup. Some were too short for our 25' trailer plus pickup, but several were long enough. All were a good width, site 3 is extra-wide. Sites are close to level but not perfect. We called park personnel for a reservation and they took CC info over the phone, no need to go to the office. All sites have full hook-ups, and are a great bargain at this price!

Water pressure and electric voltage were good. Verizon service was 1 or 2 bars only, switching back and forth between 3G & 4G.

Sites are a decent size & distance apart. We never saw a camp host, although there is a site for one. There is a nice playground for children. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet and clean State Park. The 50 amp kept blowing our surge protector so we had to use 30 amp. Nice location if you want to explore Tupelo. Lot spacing was nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel, featuring a fire-ring, picnic table and patio. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The tour of Elvis Presley's house and church are good. Jonnie's Drive in for more Elvis nostalgia.

This is a small state park with only 20 campsites. The sites are fairly level and partially wooded. Some sites have 50 amp service and some have 30 amp. There are a few sites that don't have sewer so you have check each site carefully to get the utilities you want. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground is close to Tupelo, MS, the birthplace of Elvis.

Park in very pretty setting. Bath house neat and tidy. Personel were helpful and friendly. It is a couple miles down narrow, winding road. The rv pads were asphalt and basically level. Trouble is they are laid out strangely. Table positioned to be useless, pad barely wide enough for coach not providing sitting room. Data service via Verizon very slow. Ten channels or so via antennae. Could be very nice with some changes. Too far removed to be good for single night stay. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the ribs at Crossroads Rib shack or the smash burger at Neon pig

This is a decent campground in a rustic state park, but it does have some issues. First, the positives. Restrooms are modern and spotless. The park lake is very nice, and I also noticed decent tennis courts which appeared to be ok. Now the issues, which are minor, but should be mentioned. The park is understaffed and apparently not well budgeted. On arrival (the local road to the park is narrow and winding) there is an entry booth which is unmanned and the roadway past it is very narrow. Notice the damage to the corner of the roof where passing rigs have apparently hit it. There are virtually no signs directing you to the campground, so continue on the park road. You will eventually see the campground entrance and a sign indicating a campground host. We were there 3 days and ever found the host. Sites (which must be reserved in advance) are numbered, but numbers are painted on the roadway, and with autumn leaves covering the road, we went around the loop twice before we spotted them. Sites are paved, reasonable wide and somewhat level. There was no signage indicating where to check in, so we didn't. Hookups were okay, but sewer was about 10 feet from the back of the site so we needed a couple of hose extensions to hook up. Park has 30 and 50 amp service, and we hooked to 50amp. During the first two nights power went off for minutes at a time several times. When it happened again the next morning I asked a neighbor if he had power problems also and he said he did when he arrived but switched to 30amps and it was fine. We went to plug in the 30amp adaptor and found the 30a receptacle was installed upside down. Using a lot of duct tape, I managed to get the plug to stay in the receptacle. No problems with 30 amp. We eventually found the park office where we registered. Having said all that, we would stay here again. The park is nice and quiet, and reasonable close to the center of Tupelo. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is not far from the Natchez Trace. It is a very small park with 20 sites, all but one have sewer. Most of the sites are within the inner circle and very close together. We had a lovely site number 7 that was isolated. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, spacious park with asphalt pads. Did not offer Wifi, but we did get good satellite (space #13) and our cell phone reception was good, which enabled us to use our hotspot when we needed the internet. We had 50 AMP, water and sewer. There was a lake and several fishing piers, and offered clean roads to ride bicycles. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area again and recommend this park highly! We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go and see Elvis birthplace, Church he attended, and museum in Tupelo -- well worth the $13/admission. Only 4 miles from the park.

We were planning on staying in one of the parks on the Natchez Trace but ran out of time and picked this at last minute and are we glad. Price reflects a senior discount. Had a beautiful spot that backed up to a beautiful stand of trees. Everything about this park we loved with the exception of lack of cell service. Would definitely recommend. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

This park is in a beautiful area and they strive to keep the park maintained with the limited employees they have, but all of the employees are really nice. It is a narrow drive to it but it is also very convenient to Tupelo. The showers were clean. Their washer was gone but was to get a new one the 1st of July. The sites are big and fairly level. The lake is very beautiful and is very family friendly also to our furry family. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

A ways off the beaten path, but a good stop. It is a real nature type park, not a parking lot. You are in the woods. Lots of hot water in the shower, but no dry place to stand. If over 65, you get the cheaper rate. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. We enjoyed a paved, level, full hook up site with a reasonable amount of elbow room. Over the weekend the small campground filled up but the rest of the time things were rather quiet. Getting to the park one travels a twisting and turning county road for about five minutes. The road is somewhat narrow but I’d say that bigger rigs can negotiate it without much of a problem. The centerpiece of the park is a pretty lake. There are rental cabins, pavilions, and a nice playground. The park features not one, but two disc golf courses. Using cell signal booster I was able to get on the Internet with a medium to weak 3G signal strength. After moving the dish around a bit I was able to lock on to a very good satellite TV signal. I have one rather serious concern about this state park. Every night around midnight the campground voltage rose to the point that our camper’s Surgeguard cut power to the camper, reporting voltages as high as 134 volts. We had a neighbor who was getting the same readings. I talked to the park employees about it and they said it would be looked into but after 5 nights the spikes continued to happen. After the first night we unplugged the electric before going to bed because we didn’t want the Surgeguard cycling the electricity off and on through the night. I would return to this park believing this issue will be resolved. Till then, I don’t think I’d recommend the park to people without some kind of high voltage protection. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park. We had a nice back-in site, and it was very quiet. There was a problem checking in, but it was straightened out, and we had a place to stay for 2 nights. You are 4 miles from Tupelo and Elvis Presley's boyhood home. The town is bigger than we thought it would be with a Walmart and many other stores. The sites were fairly level. We would stay here again and will recommend it to friends. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is not very large, but the sites are spacious with concrete pads, so leveling was fairly easy. We stayed in site 15, and there were no campsites on either side of us. The manager who checked us in was very friendly. The park doesn't have a lot to do as far as recreation but was a good place to relax. Did not use the laundry but noticed they only had one washer & dryer which did not look very usable. The park is about 6 miles from the town of Tupelo for groceries, gas, etc. We stayed here for one night. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay and I would certainly stay here again. Nice, quiet and clean. The $14.00 rate is after my seniors discount. Nice level asphalt sites, I didn't unhook from the truck and no leveling required. Nice clean shower and restroom, looks like plenty of play areas for children. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Travel Trailer.
